Her eyes flickered with disappointment as the rest of the demons were dispatched with ease. That was over far too quickly for her taste. She would have been a lot happier having the chance to play around with the demons before they were killed. Sure, she wasn't a warrior, but she still liked fooling around with such creatures. She looked over to the dark man that had ruined her fun, sighing at the introduction. She shook his hand briefly, gaze returning to the angel below.
She slipped off from her perch, stretching out. "Well, it's been fabulous, but now I have things to do. Arreal, please leave." Her sharp green eyes focused on him, eyes flickering with the chaos that dwelled within. She couldn't very well do as she pleased if he was around cleaning up the mess that she planned on making.

Arreal looked to her and glared lightly." You know very well that I cannot do as you ask. I have to make sure the humans are taken care of. Meaning I have to watch them and you. you do not mean harm you merely want to be entertained but sometimes your entertainment can spell doom for the creature or human caught in your game." Arreal stood firm and waited to see what the earth deity would do for not wanting to leave.

Trickster leaned back against the building, not caring how hard he glared at her. It wasn't like he could do anything to him. An entity of good, he was helpless against a neutral creature like her, while she could do as she wished, even attack him. Of course, that would allow him to attack back, but as long as she did not purposely bring harm to him there was nothing he could do.
She smiled at the simplistic explanation. "Sure the occasional doesn't get through. That doesn't matter though, does it? You can always get another one." Waving her hand Trickster pulled a rippling illusion over the city, making it disappear. "And if I take your city away? Can you leave then?"

" you are so confidant that I can not harm you if you throw off the balance of this city however there is one thing you forget. My powers and weapons may not be able to affect you but..." He put up his hand and then punched a wall and the wall cracked from the force of the punch. and the wall appeared for a second but then faded away again. "If you took the city from me then yes I would leave because the city would be gone, but, the city is not gone just hidden. you may go have your fun but I cannot leave the city, I'm sorry...not when I was asked to guard and watch over it. You know I must follow orders...It has always been this way." He stopped glaring and hoped that she would understand that he wasn't going anywhere.

"Trickster, it really would be a good idea to stay on an arch-angel's good side. Also," Izin sighed, flicking a hand through the air, causing the illusion to dissapear. "Just because you're a neutral creature does not mean you are safe. If you bring harm to anyone in Red Blood--asides from the usual bad guys--Arreal will be able to intervene as he sees fit. An evil act is still an evil act, no matter what alignment you may be."
Izin lazily made his hand circle in the air, dark energy swirling around his forearm.

Trickster watched him hit the wall, the illusion wavering for a moment before returning. She rather liked this view, empty of everything else. It had a rather desolate feel to it, as if anything could happen there, that it wasn't safe. Which reminded her of the city, with the treasures inside it. She frowned, hearing that he was refusing to leave. There wasn't much she could do right now. Perhaps she'd trick him into banishment, but that would be difficult to set up.
Something cracked through her mind, destroying the image she was holding. Whirling around Trickster glared, seeing the one that had destroyed her pretty illusion. "That was mine!" She wasn't listening to what he was saying, fuming from what he had done. If she had still been a full fledged deity he would have been turned into glass at this point just for her entertainment, allowing him to remain alive and trapped in that delicate form. Instead she had to settle for the second best thing, concentrating on taking the shadows inside his cloak and reminding them of the chaos they held, letting them shatter and flee.

Izin deflected the spell with his off-hand, dark eyes turning to stare into Trickster's.
"I will warn you once." Izin said quietly, taking a step closer to the fallen deity. "I don't mind the occasional joke, but if you try to weave spells against me, then I will respond with deadly force. Plus, you are a nobody to me, so I wouldn't fell bad watching you snivel and sob on the ground as your worst Fears consume you." He paused, one hand still resting on his khopesh as he stared into Trickster's eyes, not caring what Arreal might do.

Arreal walked up slowly and placed his hand on Izin's shoulder gently and he held it as he spoke with a calm voice."Izin...She has yet to prove any real evil against the city other than making is fade from our eyes.Yes she attacked first but you must not let such things get to you, I thought you were the calm and collected one?" That last part had humor in it as he attempted to lighten the mood a little so that a battle between the two did not break out in the center of the city. Part of protecting the city meant not only it's people but the city it's self, if they fought the city would not be able to protect it's self. " You know how she works....fighting her would only make her happy and you would be doing exactly as she wanted, she wants to be entertained so don't let her get to you, otherwise she wins." He took his hand slowly from Izin's shoulder and looked to the trickster and nodded lightly." If you want entertainment then just follow me, I foresee that I will be busy tonight, with the number of demons that live in this city..."

The shadows began to listen to Trickster, dissipating and threatening to unweave. Their true master quickly put a stop to that though, forcing the chaotic energy to center itself, turning it into a purpose that held the shadows together more firmly than before. If she had been upset before it was nothing compared to the look on her face now. Threatened with fear Trickster laughed. She had no fears. She had never been afraid in her life.
Immediately she began to warm up, eyes twinkling with the idea of the havoc that she could cause with this man. Unfortunately, that meddlesome angel dropped in. Trickster glared at him as the angel smoothly worked at calming the man down. Trickster wanted him riled up, ready to fight. The invitation to see something entertaining was enough for her though, and the disagreement was immediately forgotten. "Alright!" Perhaps this angel had his uses after all.

"Like I said." Izin growled to Arreal, eyes narrowing slightly as he turned away from Trickster. "It's been a long time." He paused for a moment, listening to someone talking on his earbud. His expression went blank, then hardened. "Copy that. And you're sure you can't do anything to draw him away?" He listened for a moment. "Damn. Alright, I'll keep my guard up."
Izin turned back to the angel and fallen deity, teeth clenched. "I just received word that Rakurai is in the city." He flexed his hands angrily, then continued. "And he's nearby, looking for something." He looked at Arreal, remembering when the two of them had fought Rakurai all those years ago. "Whatever he's searching for, it can't be good."

Arreal glared just as he heard the name, that blasted name that had haunted both him and Izin." If he is searching for something then we already know that we have to stop him, and if he is here in the city then this city may very well fall into a deeper hell then it has ever seen." Arreal looked to the trickster and then spoke lightly as he got serious." Okay, you will be able to witness all the fighting and battle that you want because it seems that the mother of all problems has been unleashed." He looked to Izin and then he nodded lightly." So we have work to do, What was Rakurai's last known location?"

We should start a new thread for this
Trickster looked over with interest. Rakurai? Now that sounded like something interesting, especially with how riled up it got both of them. She grinned brightly, morphing into her coyote form. Harder to pinpoint her that way. As long as she kept her mouth shut she was just another coyote. This shape hid her essence very well. She nodded, ready for what would happen. It was a good thing they didn't know that watching wasn't the only thing in her plans. After all, Trickster wanted to be entertained, and what would be more entertaining than thwarting their plans?

(OOC: It's best to have Out Of Context stuff like this, instead of being italicized. And a new thread would be...somewhat unnecessary.) Izin glanced back at Trickster as she shifted into her coyote form, eyes narrowing as he thought. Her mind was well shielded, and he doubted she would let her mental guard slip any time soon. Still...he got a vague suggestion of, what was it...mischievousness mixed with malice or some darker intent. He couldn't be too sure, but he made a note to himself to never trust or let his guard down around the fallen deity. "About two-thirds of a mile to the east, but he's probably moved by now." Izin said after Arreal inquired. "I suggest we make haste if we want to catch him before he vanishes off the grid again, however unsubtle he may be." Izin started to sprint quickly, moving like an oily shadow across the streets, completely silent. ***** The darkly armored man walked down the alley, eyes glowing beneath his helm as his feet thudded against the ground. An aura of...darkness surrounded him, causing all nearby to feel uneasy or absolutely terrified as he passed. Even the animals feared the Horsemen Incarnate when he was roaming the city purposefully. Despite helping save the city more than thirty years ago from the Hunger, Rakurai was still disgusted by the place. Weaklings, all of them, though there were a select few who he respected in combat. His eyes glowed fiercer as he remembered Arreal and Izin...two worthy opponents, though the Avatar of Fear preferred to hide behind illusions than straight out fight. The Archangel, however, was a different story. Now that was an excellent foe. He was honest and straightforward, something Rakurai appreciated. He was also very much a warrior, and a good one at that. The two together had proven to be a worthy challenge for Rakurai. How he had relished the fight...it went on for many glorious hours, culminating in a stalemate, of all things. Separately, they would have fallen beneath his blade. He wondered how they had improved in the years since then...Izin he knew was capable of withstanding him for a while, but he hadn't run into Arreal again. Rakurai's eyes narrowed as he sensed something--Fear and holy energy... The Horsemen Incarnate burst out laughing, overjoyed that history was about to repeat itself. All three of them had grown in power by several factors, which would make the battle very worthwhile. Still...he had to gain possession of the artifact before it vanished once more. He walked faster, ragged cloak billowing out behind him as the win picked up.

Arreal Ran quickly behind Izin, While Izin moved like a shadow over the floor, moving effortlessly, Arreal was moving much the same way except he played the part of the light. He ran around corners dodging and moving over and around smaller, lesser demons because the one they were after was far more important and dangerous. If they didn't stop the evil that was now in the city then everything would go to hell. Arreal as he ran started to glow and then his armor appeared him him and his wings sprouted from his back and allowed him to jump higher and he could now move with more grace in his actions. He kept his sword in it's sheath and his yellow eyes burned from behind the helmet he now wore. If they could catch Rakurai quickly and dispatch him right away then they might very well avoid utter chaos and destruction.

The slim coyote easily kept up with the two warriors, moving smoothly through the area. Occasionally she slipped away from them, wandering through alleys and surprising the occasional being tucked away in there. A few aimed a kick at her, grumbling about how bold the scavengers were becoming. Trickster simply smiled at that, knowing that the coyotes would benefit in all kinds of ways from her presence.
Always she returned to where they were, playfully snapping at the flickers of light and darkness, toying with the entanglements. It wasn't like her antics would actually do anything, maybe occasionally send a small flicker of awareness up to their masters when she tugged too hard, but otherwise it simply kept her occupied waiting for them to find the one they were hunting. It wasn't long until she picked up the other presence. Her hackles raised, feeling the creature up ahead. It wasn't a source of chaos like she was, but an instrument of death. It was frightening, the final silence that came that way, the calm that not even she could shake. It was absolutely thrilling, so close to the source of it. She couldn't wait to meet who was giving off that presence.
