Calum nodded and then he shook his head lightly as he growls " I'm Sorry Katrina but i am an order.....Was an Order Judge and I do not know of any living vampires, no old ones anyway...I killed them and the only elder one I have met is now dead and made sure to bring me along for the ride." He looked to the ground and then his head shot back up as he got an idea." Wait! There are many pubs and bars and clubs where only vampires hang out so if we go there then we should be able to hopefully find someone that would be willing to help us or at least point us in the direction of someone who can."
Calum looked to the clothes he had and smiled as he only had to rip off one patch that had his orders symbol on it and he was good." There now I could walk in and not worry about every vampire in the place trying to kill me..." He looked to Katrina and then a worried expression covered his face." Umm...how long before I'll be wanting blood and need to drink and does it have to be the blood of the living?" Calum knew a lot about them but mostly on a "how to kill it" stand point and he would need Katrina's help if he planned on living long.

Katarina watched Calum then, her head tilted alittle to the side. That growl of his certainly turned her on just alittle bit. She wondered then why Calum was apologizing, as he'd done nothing wrong. If anyone should be apologizing it should be her, she was the one who turned Calum without his permission. "You don't have anything to apologize for, Calum. If anyone does, it would be me." the vampyress said quietly, a slight smile curving her lips. Oh how she does indeed love the former priest, but she would tell him that later or she planned to. But now as Calum lowered his head, it was all that Katarina could do to not kiss him fully on his lips. Infact, she was just seconds from doing so, when Calum's head came back up. She'd forgotten that there were bars and pubs in one particular area where only vampires went... but then she was never a bar person! Now her smile grew wider! "Then we had better go now.
Turning, Katarina easily closed the door to the mausoleum so that no one would just walk in... not that there was anything worth taking from inside. Hell, she had been the one who stole the chair that she sits in. She'd taken all of three steps away from her home... well their home now when the question comes up, the one that overwrote his comment about not having to worry about vampires staring at him. "You've only had enough from me to heal up and to live, so it should be soon that you feel the hunger come on. That just makes going to one of those bars a better idea than it was already." Katarina says quietly.

Calum Lead the way and without thinking to deeply into it he took her hand and lead her there and in no time at all they were standing outside the Bloody Virgin, Funny title for a bar since it was the name of a drink and since blood and virgin were probably part of the menu. He growled again as he looked to the Large man at the door and he walked up holding Katarina close and he spoke calmly and with confidence." Nice place, We would like in if that's okay with you." The large man looked Calum over with eyes that were red and some fresh blood still on his mouth and he smiled at the girl he was with as he shot back." You can leave her here and we can have some fun and you can leave and come pick her up later, however I warn that when you do she'll probably want nothing to do with you girl friend or not from the fun she will be having inside." Calum got pissed at this comment and he shot back to the large man even though He and Katarina were not in a relationship but he did like her and something made him snap...perhaps being a vampire made emotions stronger? " Listen....I would love to have a pissing contest with you but I am in a hurry so lets just get to it shall we?" Calum pulled out his gun and shoved it into the mans groin and started to pull the trigger as he spoke low." Can't have a contest if one of us is missing our tool to do so...." It was after saying that, that the man laughed and patted Calum on the shoulder and pushed him in." Damn boy! Now that is balls! You can go in and be sure to show that hot girl your with a good time! " He closed the door behind them and Calum put his weapon away and looked to Katarina and smiled a little before taking her hand again and heading deeper into the hellish world that he was now a part of and would be for a long, long time.

Her hand. In Calum's hand! A long time ago when she was still human, she would have smacked him. But now, she felt comfort from it, and even safer than she'd ever felt. Safe. Wanted. As though she meant something in this world, such as it is. In spite of her now 'warring' emotions, Katarina let a smile curve her lips. She might have stopped and kissed Calum on his cheek, but before she could muster the courage, they were soon at the bar. It looked much like a tavern of the days of old, except the entrance was styled differently. A name like Bloody Virgin was somewhat scary, even to her! "It's only a name" Katarina thought to herself, although she suddenly felt the need to be closer.
The bouncer's attitude and words immediately had Katarina on her guard. She'd been about to say something to the male vampire as she glared at him when Calum spoke up instead. In truth, she was glad that he did. Her words might not have been so kind, but if the bouncer attacked her for her harshness, she wouldn't be able to defend herself. So while Calum dealt with the bouncer, Katarina moved a bit closer to him in attempt to make it clear that she wasn't going to leave the former priest's side and not even for a second would she stay behind with the large idiot. At first, she thought Calum would actually pull the trigger, then it came to her attention that he would only do so if forced to. Fortunately that wasn't the case, as the large bouncer let them go.
"No one, not even when I was human, would stand up for me like that." Katarina thought to herself as he found herself liking Calum more and more. Sighing silently in relief, the young vampyress walked with him into the bar, which had been blaring music from large speakers.

Calum walked through the crowd and pushed passed a whole bunch of women dressed in barely anything and even the men were not doing so well in that department. He growled and held Katarina closer as they pushed there way to the bar. He needed to ask the bartender who was the eldest vampire in the place. They both needed help but more than anything he did...He felt emotional and his hand was gripped firmly on Katarinas and he was really starting to feel for her. It might have been because she turned him and saved his life but truth be told he had liked her the moment he had met her, even though he had been a priest at the time. But now that was all over and he needed to focus and keep himself calm.
He looked back to her and smiled lightly and his eyes went to her neck and to her figure for a second and he turned away quickly and shook his head. There was blood here and lots of it. There was feeding and all kinds of things going on here. There were back rooms and s%x and dru&s were in play and even to the sides of the room there was feeding going on. Calum took a deep breath and his eyes went dark for a second and he stopped and took a deep breath and focused and beyond that with a new born should be able to do he made himself ignore and blood and he finally made it to the bar and he flagged down a bar tender.
" Hey, in the back you have a room....there are elder vampires back there and I need to meet one of them...."[/i] The bartender looked around and cussed and grabbed Calum by the shirt collar and held him and he spoke so only he and Katarina could hear." Shut the hell up and how the F^&k do you know about the back room....."[/i] Calum smiled lightly and he leaned in and told him back."I killed a priest....what makes you think I wont kill you..."[/i] He pulled out his gun and showed the symbol on the handle and then he put it away.
The bartender backed up and looked a little shocked." Okay Okay...Fine...Damn, I'll let them know but there is a meeting going on you'll have to wait a couple hours, you and your friend will have to enjoy the entertainment going on around here. Go and dance or something and drinks are on the house."[/i] Calum looked to Katarina as the bartender went back to doing his normal stuff. He took her hand and looked to the dance floor and pointed." Feel like dancing? I may have been, you know what but I can move it."[/i]

If Katarina were still human all of this would indeed sicken her to know end, though in a sense it still does. She just can't get physically sick by the sight of it. Keeping her yes trained on Calum for the most part helped, as well as being kept close to him. Even when he'd been a priest, Katarina felt safe around him. Being this close, made her feel safer yet. She didn't even have to look around as much as Calum was to draw an opinion of the place, but what choice did either of them have?
Once they stopped at the bar, Katarina even then remained close to him as though he was the one who'd protect her, which he's already proven that he would. Calum's comment to the bartender was more than enough to make Katarina to move her gaze to his eyes. Instead of feeling anxious or apprehensive, she felt all the more safe when being around the former priest. A soft sigh slipped throug her slightly parted lips as she relaxed ever so slightly. She even grinned alittle when the bartender backed off a little bit.
At Calums request to dance, Katarina actually did look around. People were indeed dancing, but it's nothing like the type of dancing she'd ever seen, having remembered waltzes. "I... I don't think... I've not seen dancing like this before." Katarina said with uncertainty.

Calum was getting use to having her so close and after everything they were doing and all the near fights he had to get in and all the things he had to say and do...it was odd that he couldn't help feeling that he was doing it all for her. He looked to Katarina and then he looked to the dance floor and he listened to the pounding music of the bass and dance music and he nodded." I don't really dance either but right now is a good enough time to learn right?"[/i] He asked and he took her hand in his and he brought it to his lips and then he kissed it gently.
He slowly pulled his lips away and led her to the dance floor and then he turned to her and smiled. he felt a thirst rising and he growled a little but he didn't want to drink blood, why did it have to be blood, blood that most likely came from someone who was murdered or rapped or worse. He stopped growled and he looked to her and he moved in close pushing there bodies together and he leaned in and spoke into her ear so she would hear him. " Just move as they do...or not, its about moving and being free, doing what you feel is right. You don't have to be like everyone else...in fact, I like you because you are not like everyone else..you saved me...you became my friend and didn't try and bite me when I met you like others would have. You didn't see me as a walking food bar. Thank you..."[/i]
He leaned in and kissed her cheek gently after saying what he did and then he started to sway and moved against her and he moved his hands to her hips and moved her a little and he tried to get her to loosen up, god knows he needed it. He was thinking to much." Loosen up and let the music move you...I know you can."[/i] He smirked and did his best not to look like an idiot but even if he did at least he would be with her.

Katarina gently bit her lower lip as Calum kissed her hand. Truly, if she were still human, she would have blushed, and most likely not for the first time! "But, I... I..." she stammered softly. In truth, Katarina had no point to argue, and she was more nervous than anything. Finally a smile curved the vampyress's lips.
Katarina followed Calum to the dance floor, and as she moved closer to the former priest, she could feel her own thirst rising. For blood, for a chance to enjoy herself without being hunted. She was glad that Calum brought her here, or she might not have known of anyone else who could help the both of them, nor would she know where to go otherwise to have a good time without having to worry about being hunted. And finally, for once since she's been turned, Katarina let herself relax alittle as she allowed Calum to pull her close as she thought that his growl was..... attractive. The young vampyress closed her eyes and listened to his voice and to the music. She found that she got lost in both. It felt so good to be able to be just her. "You're welcome...." Katarina said softly. She could have told him what she felt, the fear that was in her soul as his life was slipping away back then, but there was no point in bringing it up. "I... it was because I didn't want to lose the only one that brought light into the darkness I was thrown into.
The kiss to Katarina's cheek would have made her blush yet again if she were still human. She would have told him that it's easier said then done, but the band started playing a cover from another more popular band. It was one of the very few songs she heard in these modern times and liked. Kataringa liked the beat and how it was sung, and at first began to sway to it. When Kat caught the beat, she instantly began to dance to it.
(Note - The song is called Paralyzed by the band Fingers Eleven.)

Calum Smiled as the song changed and he listened to what was being said and he chuckled because he knew it and he started to sing gently while looking into her eyes maybe singing it to her."well I'm not paralyzed but I seem to be struck by you, I wanna make you move because your standing still, if your body matches what your eyes can do, You'd probably move right through me on my way to you..." He swayed with her and matched what her body did and he was captivated, it was so easy to see that before he had died he cared about her and now that he was dead it seemed that the love has only grown. He looked to her curvers and he could feel a hunger rising but it wasn't just blood...That feeling was always knocking at the back of his mind and soon it would be pounding but he had another hunger...one he wished to share with her. He shook his head lightly and felt like a beast that was on the prowl. Would it always feel like this? Would he always be feeling like he wanted to kill something or ave something in the deepest lust and desire?
He tried to focus on the music and sing lightly to it to keep his mind on the now and not what could happen or would happen. He continued to dance with her and he did his best to smile and forget...but since he died his memories were so vivid, it was like all he had to do was try and remember and he could watch his memories like a movie and stop and pause and fast forward or rewind to where he wanted. He found himself seeing that fight and he was analyzing his moves and what he had done and studying himself and oddly enough he saw weakness and he was disgusted in his performance. What? was he actually hating himself and what he use to be? God he couldn't take control of his thoughts anymore! He stopped and closed his eyes and then the song was over and a new one was starting and the sound called to him and it pulled at that humanity...plucked at his heart strings and tempted to take his breath away. (Note: Sirenia - The Other Side)
A females voice caught him and her voice filled the club and everyone seemed to stop. It was easy to see that she was well was a vampire but her voice was calling and even those drinking the blood of others stopped and looked to her sing. He felt calm and no longer was thinking of the bad and the evil and he was lost in the sound. The music picked up and got more powerful and people started to move and then after it was pumping and causing those to move their head and then it would get slow again and focus on the singing and not so much the sound of the band.Calum found himself moving to Katarina and he held her and he looked into her eyes. He had feeling for her he knew he did and he needed to let them be known while he was still himself, while he was still human before he killed someone." Katarina..." He said her name as he leaned in and he went slow so she would have a chance to stop him if she wanted but his lips kept moving and finally he took her into a kiss letting her know, letting her feel how thankful he was for her saving his life and for being there for him. After the song finally hit the end after a strong finish and after Calum pulled from the kiss and looked back up to the stage he was surprised to see the singer looking directly at Calum and Katarina and she flashed them a little smile as she stepped of stage. Calum had a feeling and he needed to follow. The rest of the vampires in the area slowly went back to doing there thing as the music picked up and everything went back to normal.
Calum went to the back where one could meet the band and there was no one stopping them and slowly the door that held the band was opened and inside was the woman and her band was no where to be seen she smiled and motioned for them to take a seat and she spoke gently and with a voice that of an angel." You have been looking for someone older to held you....I know what you are Calum....I know what you were and You....Katarina, such beauty and so alone but no longer....She sired you and your bond is strong, It's easy to see to someone who ha been around as long as I and you both are doing well. Calum, you surprise me...new to this dark life we live and yet controlling yourself so well...you must have been hard headed and stubborn when you were alive because that strong will can e seen now." Shadow stopped and Calum was stunned that she knew everything about them, had she read there minds, had she felt it? There were so many questions." I will teach you both the one thing that is the hardest for us....the one thing that is in the way of making us feel more...human...To control your emotions and more so...your thirst..."
Calum took Katarina's hand and looked to her and smiled lightly feeling that they may very well be able to control that darker part of themselves.
