Sitting upon his thrown as he looked down to the line of people who entered the throne room there were many who wanted everything from him, so many requests of him and so many that he could not help, he didn’t want to disappoint his people but what other choice did he have then to do so. As another man approached he asked “my lord when is there to be transport to the main land again, we are running low on supplies for the city” stroking his beard he nodded to the little old man who brought him the concern.
“you bring a good point on concern to me, I will try my best to find what the problem with the boats are and for now we will travel by portal…” nodding Unithar stood from his throne and walked back toward his chambers , he was done with the congregation for now but would look in to correcting any problems that were brought to his attention.
Going through the papers Unithar thought about all that his son could be learning at the academy, as his mind drifted he looked to the window where he saw the sun was, the one thing that his son and him still shared a site of the sun and moon. Standing from his desk Unithar walked toward the door that led outside and looked to the sky once again, beautiful he thought to himself while he walked the streets.

Brianna walked around the perimiter of the palace until she found the main entrance.
"Guard! Are you paid to lean against a wall or to guard this entrance?!", she barked.
The two men guarding the entrance snapped to attention and one of them almost dropped his rifle. "Uh! Yes, ma'am! I mean, no, ma'am, we're guards." One of them shifted on his feet. "Can we assist you, ma'am?"
"Oh, certanly." She poured on the charm...and a wee bit of her belt's power. "I mearly need an audiance with your Lord."
"Uh....sure. I think we can do that. Can I get a name?"
Brianna wondered which name she should use. "Lady Livia Drusilla."
"Very well." The guard enters the doorway.
"Lord,", the guard enters the throne room and goes to one knee. "Someone wishes audiance with you. A Lady Livia Drusilla. Do you wish to accept her?"

(OOC: he wasnt in the throne room, just so you know)
Walking up behind Brianna, Unithar smiled at the sight of the large doors that they stood in front of, “beautiful are they not” he said while the golden doors gleamed in the light of the setting sun his home was a pace of peice a place where people could find harmony amongst the darkness of the world around them. Then thinking again about his own Son Unithar looked to the ground before peering back at the dark haired lady he smiled faintly “so what brings you to grand City of Nimbus... and how did you get here? I see no Boat docked in the sky port.”
Then as the guard walked out of the golden doors giving up his search for Unithar his eyes widened as he fell to one knee and bowed out of respect for the man. Looking to the guard who now knelt to him Unithar smiled and raised his hand as if allowing the guard to his feet, “was this young mistress looking for me?” Unithar asked the guard patiently awaiting an answer. Nodding the guard spoke in a sheepish tone “yes my lord, she has some sort of business with you I believe.”

"I have my ways." She smiled, showing perfect, brilliant white teeth. With slightly longer and much sharper canines.
"They are quite nice doors. Not even Augustus of Rome could have rivaled the splendor of this city." Livia's smile shrank slightly and she c*cked her head. "Although, I do wonder what lacking qualities the builder was compensating for." Her smile then grew even bigger than before, emphasizing her joke.
"As for why I am here," Her smile completely vanished, her expression going completely business like. "It is really a small thing. But I like to insure that a small thing does not become a big thing. It is so very frustrating to have such things happen, I'm sure you can relate." She sighed. "I am sure, however, that you do not wish to discuss such things out here. Perhaps we can continue this inside, my lord?" If she hadn't added the the honorific and the slight up pitch in tone, one might have almost thought she was demanding an audience.
"Of course, if this is a bad time, my lord, I can return some....other time?"

Smiling back at her respecting the pleasantries she bestowed upon him he waved a hand before the doors, opening slowly he ushered her in as he walked behind her slowly. “there are many things to be discussed I take it, and you seem to be a busy lady yourself so lets get strait to buissness and after maybe we could get to know each other as more than just business partners...” Unithar always liked trying to make friends with the people who came to visit this city, he had a sort of compassion for though who could see the beauty of this place, the harmonious nature of the city was calming to say the least.
As they entered the throne room the doors closed quickly behind them not as if to slam the doors but to show there were important matters being spoken about in the tall almost cathedral like room with stain class windows showing pictures of generations before himself. Taking a seat on the thrown looking down at the dark haired woman now he gripped the arm rests of the chair and smiled slightly before speaking in a calm tone, “please speak your piece...”

She took a moment to gather her thoughts then spoke. "My lord, it has come to my attention that members of my group have been...unjustly barred from entering certain sections of the city. Most commonly, the main docks. This is obviously a problem, but what bothers me more, is the increase of vampire related crimes in these barred areas, as of recently."
She folded her hands together and held them at her waist, assuming her "businesswoman" pose. "I believe it would be in this cities best interests that my people be permitted to enter these areas." She produces a sheaf of paper, most likely parchment, in fact, and extends it to Unithar.
"This is a list of the areas in question and the rough times at which my people were barred from entering. This," She produces another sheaf. One might wonder where she was hiding all of these documents. "is a list of those barrings wound up causing injury. I will accept any punishment you deem for those citizens of your's that were harmed." She folds her hands back up again and places them back on her waist. "I ask that you take any punishment out on me, rather than my people. They were just following orders."
She falls silent, awaiting the Lord's decree.

Resting his cheek against his fist he sighed “there is always conflict in this city, well at least that’s all I hear about why does no one bring me good news” he said with a chuckle before getting up and walking down to the dark haired lady. “So do you know where we can find the culprits I would throw them in to the sea below us myself before I see there is a problem in this city I will not let there be presides between races.” As the doors reopened he smiled and waved his hand forward as if saying lead the way.

"Very well, my lord." Livia had to admit. She was surprised. She would have never guessed she would have gotten this response. But she kept her emotions off her face and did not let anyone see it. It was very easy to do so. After all, she had been doing it for over two thousand years.
Ah, to think. This man thinks he is her senior by many years. But in reality, she is his senior by more years than he could imagine. Somewhat ironic, really.
She moved swiftly, calling on her vampiric nature to some extent. They quickly arrived at the gates to the main docks. Those same gates, at her approach, quickly slammed shut. A quartet of people stood behind them, obviously not recognizing their Lord was with her.
"You're kind aren't welcome here!", one of them shouted in Livia's direction.
"You suckers should go find your own city to torment! We know what you do!"
Livia hissed at this and stepped forward, reaching for a hidden knife. She whipped it out and flung it at the gate. It passed between the bars and thunked into the wood cart someone had left rather close to the gate. It was half an inch from the persons ear who had spoken the last comment. This person had also backed up at Livia's sudden movement.
"You fools!", Livia spat. "You attempt to deny my kind access to these parts and yet dozens of them LIVE in there."
"Even if there were, they don't cause any trouble."
"Really?" Livia crossed her arms. "And what do you call all of the dead people who have had their blood drained?!" She was clearly pissed off.
"If you're that concerned with our people getting sucked dry, call off your damn blood suckers! They're the ones doing it!"
"I think not." Livia said calmly. "My people are the only ones who are keeping your prized lives going. This district will devolve into chaos if you continue to bar my people!"
"Is that a threat? Cause that we can take to the Lord Startwine!"
"Too late." She smiled sweetly, showing her now extended fangs. They were about half an inch long. "I took this matter to him myself." She stepped aside. "My lord."
She longed to see how he would handle this.

Glaring that though who hid behind the gate Unithar stepped forward and used the remaining light of the sun the rip the gates from their hinges, throwing them away from the city so that they fell in to the water below Unithat continued so that he was standing before the men and women who cursed the face of vampires. “you use these gate to shun thoughs who have proven themselves worthy to be in this city, you choose to call this district your when it is no ones to call their own but mine. If you ever think that you choose who can and cannot be here again and I will personally throw you off this city and in to the sea below myself!”
With his eyes widened as he listened to the words of Unithar it was obvious he was scared at this point “bu- but my lord” raising his hand to the man shunning his and making him shut his mouth Unithar continued “if ever there is a problem, you do not take it upon yourself to fix such a thing, you bring any issues you may have to me.”
Looking back to Livia Unithat nodded “this woman is under my protection if I hear of any harm coming to her I will personally destroy who ever I expect of doing such thing” he said glaring at the man who spoke out of turn.

"Thank you, My Lord." Livia bowed. She looked at the sky and then at her ring. The stones were almost dark. She needed to get to a safe place.
"With your permission, My Lord. I have much to do and not much time to do it."
She unfurled her wings, revealing at least some of her origins, and took flight. She had to get to a safe house. She flew through the air and glided through thermals.
She dived toward a building and landed on a balcony. She walked into the building, a re-purposed warehouse, and furled her wings again. She went down the stairs and headed down to the basement, using the cargo elevator.
She arrived on a scene of people running about and such. A specific person saw her and cut his way to her.
"Livia. How did it go?"
"Better than I hoped, Davlin." She smiled. "The sections are open to us again. We can start defending the people again."
"Good! I'll send out teams immediately."
Davlin, The Path's Magistrate of Nimbus, entered the room. He looked at the twenty-four people standing about. They were Nimbus's Elite Strike Teams, or EST's.
"Alright, people. We have some catching up to do." He smiled, revealing his own fangs. "The docks and other districts are open again. You are tasked with patrolling these areas. Team Alpha," He pointed to a group of four people standing way in the back corner. "You are tasked with the Market District."
He turned and pointed to another group of four. "Team Bravo. You have the Main Docks."
"Charlie, your going to the Upper Noble District. Delta, your target is the Lower Worker District."
He turned to the last group of four. "Echo. You have the nastiest of them all. You get to flush the Sewers out. Get them out of there and push them up to the surface."
He nodded to the back door. "Through there is the armory. Take what you need, but don't go too heavy. We're not waging all out war here, just clearing out the free-suckers." He used the derogatory term that many of the Path used to refer to those vampires that did not allow their victims a choice in whether or not they became vamp food.
"Now, go get 'em!" The two dozen men and women poured through the door to the armory and geared up. They loaded out and left. They dispersed to their locations and began the long night's work.
Blood would be spilled. Both human and vampire. With any luck, no humans would be killed, though. Vampires? With any luck, many of them would die.
