Name
Path of the Blood (Sometimes just referred to as "The Path")
Beliefs
Those vampires that join the Path of the Blood swear on whatever they hold dear that they shall not take blood from any intelligent, sentient creature that is unwilling. They are not permitted to use their powers to affect the minds of those groups, either. However, they may drink from one who will let them do so.
Turning is also restricted in this way. The being to be turned must be told everything that makes a vampire a vampire. Their life must also be in peril from illness or such. If all of these conditions have been met and the being in question still wishes to be turned, then the turning may be conducted.
Once the turning is done, the sire must stay with his/her child and teach him/her the ways of the vampire. Once done, the sire may ask if the new vampire wishes him/her to stay longer. If not, then the sire may go as he/she wishes.
The Path is ambivalent towards most other magical creatures.
Leader
Livia Drusilla
History
When the third Empress of the Roman Empire, Livia Drusilla, was turned, she was given the care that is now part of The Path's edict.
Thus, as she gained power, she began to exercise it and called to her a faction that believed in every individuals rights to their own bodies and teaching one how to use their new one, should that need arise.
Now, The Path of the Blood is one of the more prominent vampire factions, having one of the two most clear cut ideals when it comes to other races and their blood.
If another faction forms from the mists of the other of those clear cut ideals, The Path and they shall never have a peaceful existence.
Ranks and Organization
The Path has a comprehensive and easy to understand hierarchy.
Ranks are as follows, in order of power, from highest to lowest:
Armory
The Path has many armory locations. Within these armories is an arsenal of weapons beyond belief. The Path uses everything from stone knifes to Apache Gunships and M1 Abrams tanks. Mind you, they don't have many of the helicopters and tanks, but they have more than just those types.
(If you can find me a Wikipedia entry on it, I'll say it's in there.)
Locations
Main Base of Operations: City of the Damned
Outposts: Red Blood City, Nimbus Sky City and Final Fantasy City
Armories: City of the Damned(12), Red Blood City(4), Nimbus Sky City(3), Final Fantasy City(5).

Ranks and Organization
The Path has a comprehensive and easy to understand hierarchy.
Ranks are as follows, in order of power, from highest to lowest:
- First Lord/Lady - Livia. She deals with the highest issues of the Path and any issues that impede on a Magister too long, she deals with personally.
- Praetorian - Livia's right hand man. (Currently do not have one. May have a possible lead, though.)
- Magistrate - Leads the Path's efforts in a City. Only 4 of them.
- Cursor - The direct hand of the First Lady/Lord. Names always end in ex-Cursori
- Senator - Bicker over policy. There are 5 for each city, for a total of 20.
- Knights Captain - Leader of elite Knights. Must have been a Knight.
- Captain - Leader of armed forces. There are many of them in each city.
- Tribune Tactica - Tactical Commander.
- Tribune Logistica - Logistics Commander.
- Sub-Tribune Tactica - Tactical Sub-Commander.
- Sub-Tribune Logistica - Logistics Sub-Commander.
- Knights - Elite forces that are capable of many great feats. Some have even learned to weild magic.
- Centurions - Essentially Sergeants.
- Legionnaire - Main foot soldiers. Vampires who are made by one of the Path and choose to join start here.
- Recruits - Newly accepted Vampires. Also called Fish by some people.
