Stumbling through the streets of the city of the damned, eddy cared not about what may happen to him his just needed to find a place of refuge, he needed to find somewhere safe that he knew he wouldn’t hurt people if he was to fall asleep.
As he continued stumbling down the street, watching from apartment windows and balcony’s, with worry in their eyes none of them called out to the boy it was his choice to be in the streets this late at night, it was his choice to become a target for many of the hungry creatures of the night looking for an easy meal.
Looking from side to side, his eye lids feeling heavier and heavier by the second, oh how he wished someone would come down and just let him know everything would be ok, but there was no such kindness in a world of darkness, there was only fear and death in this place.
Looking forward again to see runes of what seemed to be an old chapel, as his pace quickened it felt like he was almost dragging himself up the steps, like all he was working toward was in this holy place, a refuge for though not willing to face their demons, not willing to be scared by the darkness of this place.
As he entered Eddy looked to the painting against the walls of the church, this was a place of peace the place he had been searching for, for such a long time in a place he would not have expected to find it. Falling to his knees Eddy for the first time in what felt like a life time closed his eyes and drifted in to slumber.
Raising his arm as it grew almost three times its normal size the small boy began to turn, his skin turning a deep shade of red while his nails turned a shade of black and sharpened in to claws, as spikes irrupted from his back a tail began to grown and his feet turned to hooves. As the crosses pinned to the walls started to turn so that they were facing upside down, there was no hiding from this, if Eddy was to survive this demon he would have to accept him as well.
Craching his neck as he looked to the door now standing roughly ten feet tall he smiled “oh how nice it is to be free from that tiny, weak body of yours Eddy” Noxis said in a chuckle it had been almost a five days that Eddy hadn’t slept, it would give Noxis some time to have fun.
