A burst of flame erupted in the once glorious city of Vertex not crumbling and decrepit lost of all its beauty, as the flame died down only smouldering coals and ash could be seen under the metal boot of the Vamperic demon that now stood in the courtyard. Pondering on what this place was and why it seemed so dead he walked toward the staircase that lead up to a large building that seemed to once be a building of high order. Walking up the steps of the long staircase Jericho the first and only blood thirstier to walk upon this world looked to the large building. Looking to the sky it was nothing like the fiery skies of hell, the night sky was something beautiful to look upon for him it was nothing like he had ever seen before but this would probably not be the first of the new things he would see in this world.
Approaching the building Jericho looked it up and down, and walked toward the large stone doors pushing them open he opened it to see a large room and in the middle was another smaller stair case leading to a thrown that had two statues of human looking men standing beside, then looking to the wall he saw that they were lined with old scripture almost like hieroglyphs. It seemed like they had been there for a long time, aged by time they could not be made out to any language that Jericho understood.
Walking then further in the darkened building ten men crouching and sitting around a small fire just before the steps that lead to the throne, smiling as he saw these men he continued to walk toward them, seeing Jericho the men stood, they seemed to be nothing more than a lonely group of bandits finding shelter in this old lost city. But that’s all this place had been used for he guessed. The man who seemed to be the leader of this group spoke in a confident tone as he raised his voice. “Looks like we got another freak to take care of boys!” The other nine then looking over and away from their meals some of them still with a full mouth of food stood and walked closely behind the lead man.
Smiling still Jericho drew both his blades that where sheathed to his lower back, holding them so that the blades were behind him Jericho stopped and watched them his eyes now glowing with a sort of red mist. As the men then ran at Jericho he spread his wings and flapped them once, shooting him in to the air he kept himself suspended and looked down at the ten men, then diving he went strait for the leader of the group and let his blades ignite in flame then spinning in mid flight he slashed his flaming blade for the mans neck slicing through blood flew in the squirted from the mans neck and Jericho used the blood to make a whole new being. And muscle and boan ripped out of the mans skin held together by the blood he charged toward one of the other bandits, grabbing the man by the arms the newly made blood Golem pulled with all its force and ripped the arms from his body, then taking the bones, blood and muscle in to itself to become larger and stronger it continued to rampage, killing man after man.
As the bandits saw all this happening the fled for the door only six of them remaining Jericho watching them became a shadow himself and re appeared in front of them still holding his blade that were ignited in a sort of hellish flame. Looking at them he smiled again and watched as the ground beneath them lit aflame burning them all alive. Hearing their screams Jericho walked toward them amongths the fire and unsheathed his dagger, stabbing them all before they died he collected their souls and walked toward the throne. Walking up the steps he turned and sat in the stone throne.
