"How the hell did those to get out of there chains!? never mind it matters little, their time has come, dart them and get them in the ring." with that the little fat man waddled off, and the captain rasied his gun, firing off rounds.
MadDog spin in as the dart struck home in his hip, he soon toppled over sideways out cold.
((I am bringing another charactor in for Kurros))

Several yards away in a similar cage, Gwaed Blaidd watched the guards tranq the dragon and were-shifter, eyes narrowed. The cage to his right was incidentally the only one occupied near his own. In it sat a man, obviously in a meditation trance. His garbs were simple and practical, and were obviously well used. Gwaed hadn't managed to deduce who or what the stranger was, but he radiated an aura of power.
The captain pointed at Gwaed, and the guards turned their weapons on his cage. They fired, and a hail of darts thudded into his body. As he fell back, he thought he saw a faint smile on the unknown's face as a dart sank into his chest; then darkness overcame him.

Kurros bellowed out a roar as the darts flew in. He tried to maneuver to where they hit his thick scales and just bounce off, but he was too large and a few stuck in his less scaled areas. He hissed loudly, a blatant stare of rage directed at the humans. He did not like these creatures. At all.
What now...? Kurros looked at MadDog as his vision blurred. An odd feeling welled up inside him, one he'd not felt since he plummeted off that cliff... Fear. He sank to the floor, his vision tunneled by darkness, watching as the humans slowly disappeared into shadow.

A large hand patted Flames lower ribs as she looked out over the arena of sand and snow, she watched as all traces of blood and bones where cleaned from the ring, then looked down at Master who stroked her side.
He smiled at her, “You did well tonight and you deserve much rest and your wounds tended.” He called for the medic on standby who immediately began to cleanse Flames wounds, “I would have you sit here at my side, and watch the new arrivals duke it out in a practice battle so that we may asses their weaknesses.”
Flame nodded her delicate head lifting a wing as the medic cleaned the ragged gash down her side, “Yes master, as you command.” She looked out over the field as the half drugged creatures where dragged to the arena gates, and dressed in there armor, then giving a antidote for the sedatives as the cast iron doors where slammed behind them, her eyes light fast upon the dragon stumbling around the arena, “Master, he is my kind!”
Her outburst earned a sharp slap to the face, “Yes, that he is but you will know your place.” She nodded and settled back down watching the ring with detached eyes.
~~~~~~~~~~~
MadDog opened his eyes and floundered to his feet banging against the doors as he regained his fuzzy mind, only to find himself dressed in the armor of war, he turned and looked out ahead of him and walked out into the arena staring up and around into the crowds of people, the where screaming and cheering as he had seen them o the others, he noted that Kurro and another man was also, blundering about the ring in much the same fashion as he, he looked up to a small balcony and took note of the darkly robed figure alone side him a massive pink dragon covered in blood, and to his left a woman of great beauty and to her left the short fat man.
Gwaed was third behind MadDog and the dragon, his normally dexterous body slow and unresponsive. Behind him came the man whose cage had been beside his; he walked slowly and purposefully into the arena. Once they had walked into the light, Gwaed saw what looked like a tungston collar around the mans' neck. It smelled of powerful magic, and seemed to have no release mechanism. Gwaed surmised it was a device that limited the man's power.
Gwaed looked over to MadDog and Kurros, his mind managing to put the words together. "I don't think we've been introduced. I'm Gwaed, master swordsman." He paused for a moment, awaiting a reply.
MadDog reached out and took the man’s, "I am MadDog, and the Dragon is Kurros." MadDog could feel the power radiating off the collared man, he reached up and found he to wear a collar as well as Kurro and Gwead, he tugged at it and it dropped him to the ground shock waves pulsing threw his body, his fur bursting in and out of his body rapidly until the convulsions stopped.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Flame watched as the shifter fell to the ground, she knew what he was feeling it had happened to her many times, she looked away and locked eyes with the dragon Kurros, so that was his name. She curled her jaw at him, it was almost a smile, and then it vanished as the master shot her a dark look.

The unknown man knelt down beside MadDog at that time, placing a hand reassuringly on his quivering shoulder.
"These collars severaly limit wearers' powers, and deny them their shifting abilities," He said. "They aren't lethal, but they ensure our obediance through extreme pain."
Gwaed growled softly, the manacing noise seeming to be more than human. "Wonderful. As if being kidnapped and forced to be a gladiator wasn't enough, they have to add insult to injury and put these things on us."

MadDog, opened his eyes and slowly sat up holding his head, "This is barbaric!” He wobbled to his feet and snarled savagely, “How do we gets these things off!?” he reached to pull at it again them stopped and dropped his hands, not wanting to go through the shock waves again, “Why are we here?”
The pink Dragon on the balcony stood to her feet, “Welcome fellow Gladiators!” her pure sweet voice boomed over the arena, “I know you all wonder as to why you are here, listen well and I will explain all. You where all found and captured to fight to the death in this arena winning money and glory for our master. If you fail to do so you will be terminated, there will be times when breeding will be asked of you if you fail to do so you will be terminated, and your collars are to assure your corporation. This is a training round and will not be to the death, it is to assess your strengths and weaknesses, She jumped down into the ring as commanded from the massive man in the cloak, “I will be the judge of your abilities.”

Kurros shook away the dizzy feeling after the drug wore off. He gazed around the arena cautiously, wondering what was in store. His armor weighted him down and felt binding, so he tried to remove it but was interrupted when he saw MadDog and the other being. Introductions were made, and Kurros nodded a hello. Was this man like madDog? or was he something else?
He listened to the man's words, though still did not understand them. He simply went along with MadDog, for he was the only one worth trusting here, at the moment. He gazed around again, and froze seeing a pink glimmer in the distance. A dragon. Clicking erupted from his throat which quickly turned to a low growl. She was not of his tribe, but she was still a dragon. And his kin taught him to hate his own kind.
Her words rang out, and surprisingly he understood her, even though she spoke out and the others seemed to understand as well. She was well spoken as he, and her voice was like a song to him. Almost entrancing... He took a small step forward, focused on her. Was she like him? A "Tainted One"? The clicks in his throat ensued again. He barely herd what her words meant, but caught the last bit. Training? Not to the Death? His eyes slitted.

Flame heard the clicking and it seemed to trigger something inside her long ago forgotten, the glint of the collar around her neck was not missed as she moved closer to them, she remembered the only sound she knew from when she was small so she purred, she could almost making out what the clicks ment. She moved closer to Kurros her scales darkening to a deep floresent pink, there was a rumble from teh balcanoy and she straitened up her sacles going back to there light color, and she walked among them, "MadDog you and Gwead will be paired, Kurros, "She purred his name, "You and the other shall be paired. it is best to comply with the masters orders he will not hesistate to kill you."
~~~~~~~~~~
MadDog snorted and shook his head, "So we have noticed." He looekd over at the other man in the ring, 'May I ask your name sir?" He turned them to gwead, "it seems we are to duke it out, or be shoked to death." MadDog took up his stance.
"Certainly." The stranger said, adjusting some straps on his armor. "My name is Arinus." While he spoke, Kurros realized that he could understand what Arinus was saying.
Gwaed nodded to MadDog. He drew the Schiovanna that was at his side, then swung it around a few times to test the balance. "Whenever you're ready."
MadDog rushed Gwead and unsheathed his sword at the last moment blocking while going for a gut hit, “Nice to meet you Arinus.”
Arinus nodded while drawing the massive Zweihander strapped across his back. He faced Kurros, sword gripped at his side.
Gwaed dodged the gut blow, acrobatically whirling around the attack. His foot came up in an attempt to kick MadDog's sword arm away, which would be followed by a blow delivered to his head from the hilt of Gwaed's sword.
Kurros gazed at Flame, his thoughts jumbled. He hated his kind, but at the same time he'd never seen something so.. beautiful. He lost track of what she said, his large scales sliding up and down one another, creating a light rustling sound. When the man spoke, however, he quickly snapped out of it. His eyes narrowed and he assumed a more aggressive stance. But wait... He tilted his head as he understood the man's words.
So,a fight? that was something Kurros was used to. Against a two-legged, weapon-welding man? Not so much. Unsure of what to expect, Kurros spread his tattered wings, revealing the talon-like claws at the tip of each 'finger'. Since he couldn't fly, he used his wings the only other way he could. His tail swayed back ant forth threateningly, the spikes on the end of his club spreading slightly further from the others to ensure more damage if a hit was made.
Eyes narrowed, jaw agape, and a low growl emitting from his throat, Kurros was ready for a fight. How it would turn out, he was uncertain. But he hoped he'd win, even if it was a 'practice' round.
Flame examined his wings closely and shook her great head, it was a Sin to mar something so handsome. she watched the battles closely, her eyes wandering to Kurros, his scales singing lightly to her.
