OOC: This story takes place a few weeks after the events of 'A bad part of town'
A rising, lazy mist of burning incense smoked the air and filled the senses. The room had little in the way of furniture; really just an open space lit only by flickering candle light. The apartment was practical, just the way Asim Ausar liked it and gave him and his companion enough room to practice the ancient martial arts. His companion being the young vampire Rachel. Darkly handsome and lean built, Asim wore a white vest and sweat pants as he stood back and watched Rachel turning her lithe form into an attacking stance with a wickedly curved dagger thrust forward in her hand. He rubbed his chin thoughtfully as he studied her slow movements.
“Good.” He said quietly in his middle-eastern accented voice and moved up behind her until he was stood directly at her back, his body touching hers lightly. “Just raise this arm up a little…” He gently, yet firmly reached around her to raise her right arm slightly, turning her knife towards her invisible enemies‘ throat. His other arm encircled her waist to draw her slim stomach in further. “Breathe in, strengthen your core. You have it.” He was impressed with how far the young vampire was coming. It had only been a few weeks since her transformation at his hands. She was going to make quite the warrior, a very worthy apprentice to the deadly arts of the assassin. Though everything about her appearance, scent and mannerisms reminded him of her sister, his one true love, it didn’t hurt anymore to look at her. His emotions were locked away again in the dark recesses of his disturbed mind.
“Now you jus-” Asim was cut off suddenly as Rachel caught him unawares and flipped him over her hip and onto the ground. He landed on his back with a heavy thud and grinned up at her as she came to straddle him, her lean thighs tight against his ribs and her knife pointing against his chest. “Also very good.” He said to her then the smile dropped as a dark and powerful scent washed acridly across his senses. “He is here.”
Immediately Rachel was off him and he rolled over before getting to his feet. He turned towards the doorway as it began to open without invitation. Not that HE needed one. “I was wondering when you would turn up, count.” Asim said quietly and bowed his head slightly in greeting, inserting his bulk between the arriving ‘guest’ and Rachel. After all these years he was unsure how the ancient lord was going to react in his presence….

Rachel felt no need to bow to him. Even if he was old and powerful. He didn't seem to mind anyway.
"Asim my friend. Its been awhile hasn't it?" He walked past him and looked over Rachel. Smiling at what he saw he began to touch her. She looked at Asim but said nothing. It was all apart of this life. Be used, fight or die.
"Such a lovely creature you have Asim. Maybe I should take her for a spin sometime." He brought her into him. Looking into his eyes Rachael felt lost. Darkness filled her but she couldn't turn away. It all was becoming to much.
But then he looked away towards Asim as he still held her against him. "So, old friend. Why should I help you? You know as well as anyone a favor always comes with a price." He looked back at Rachael as he stroked her hair. "It always comes with a price."
Rachael closed her eyes. She wasn't totally afraid of him but you could smell a little fear. The stories about this vampire were all true. If you didn't believe them even a little bit then your dead before you hit them ground.
He looked back at Asim. "So do tell old friend so I may have some fun." He then lifecked Rachaels neck moving to her ear as she held her eyes tightly closed. Asim at one point would have traded her life for her sisters to that blood sucker and she was sure he would try again. She didn't mind being used if it got Asim what he needed just as long as she went home with Asim.

Asim watched the count's seduction of Rachel and could taste the girl's discomfort in the air, as she looked towards him. A few weeks ago Asim would have gladly given her over to the dark master, even enjoyed a chance to watch his debauchery of her young, tender flesh. Asim knew it would have been one hell of an impressive spectacle but he felt different about her now, almost like a protective parent over a young infant.
"You know what I want, count. I need to converse with Zero." Asim said, tensing his jaw as he continued to watch the other vampire and Rachel, aware of Rachel's gaze, his own never lingered from the Count's. He knew the count had enough magic to be able to connect him with Zero in his delerium telepathically. Zero was labelled a harmless vegtable these days, kept in a mental prison at the count's leisure in his mansion, but Asim had to be sure, he had to know the truth for himself even if it meant speaking to Zero in his dreams.
"I would pay any price." Asim said, taking Rachel's arm and pulling her slowly from the count's hold. "But the price is for me to pay, Rachel has nothing to do with this."

The Count smiled at Asim. Ear to f*cking ear. He then nodded in agreement. "You're right old friend. She isn't apart of this but note that sooner or later she will be." Then he turned and sat down. Looking up at Asim he said, "The price we will talk about later. If you wish to speak with him then we do this my way. Not in the dream world though. He is still to unpredicable there. No we will let him use my body here and now. Don't worry though I will be in full control but I will make sure he still can not hurt anyone. But the deal is you must make sure you're girl stays in the room and in sight. It will help you in the long run to get your answers. He never stops talking about them. His life is all about them. I am sure you will be surprised of the things I know about his past. Hopefully he might tell you about." He smiled big at him. "But we do this my way," he said smiling, "That's that."
The Count sat back in the chair. Looking at Asim he said, "I hope you're ready for this old friend." He said a spell as a green light orb surround him. It was shield so Zero could not exit it. Then The Count lowered his head as then he jumped to his feet trying to run at Asim but the sheild made him fall back hard into the chair. He then looked back up at Asim. "Count you bastered!" He then saw Rachel and stood again. Focused so hard on her that she could feel him almost inside her. She moved behind Asim but kept her face in sight.
"Rachel, my dear. Come here. Its still the Count. Come on. I was just playing."
"Asim," Rachel whispered. She wanted to leave but The Count was right. She needed to remain there if Asim wanted to get his answers. It sucked but their was no other choice.
"Rachel, come on my sweet. I still love you too. Remember!" He began to get angry like a caged lion looking at its meal and ready to jump on it and rip it apart. "Damnit! COME HERE!" He said kicking the chair then turning back to trying and focus on Asim's words....

Asim agreed to all the Count's terms and stood back as the old and powerful vampire conjured a spell to have Zero speak through his body. He squinted through the brilliant green light but his eyes never left the Count's face. The cruel and taunting sneer that overcame the Count's features was unmistakably Zero's, leaving no doubt to Asim that the spell had been successful. In that one moment the count had given him all the proof he had asked for... though he wanted to enjoy the moment of having Zero helpless before him, and get any information he could out of him. He felt Rachel cower behind him at Zero's words but was relieved that the girl had enough bravery to stay present.
"Enough games Zero, I know who you are." Asim began, slowly starting to pace infront of the caged animal, barely an arm's length from the shield. He could feel the hatred towards him burning through his dealy gaze. "It's funny you should mention love, after all... isn't that why any of us do anything? Let's talk about a girl. A girl not unlike her-" He motioned towards Rachel and walked slowly in her direction. "-Silky smooth hair, full lips, enchanting eyes, heaving bosom... beauty to match the goddess's of the old religion." He stood beside Rachel and put a hand on her slender shoulder. "A girl we both know very well... and loved so fiercly that we would have killed to have her all to ourselves. A love like that is one in a million eh?" He smiled widely at Zero and laughed bitterly. "Except you are nothing anymore. You can't love anyone because you aren't anyone. Just a bad dream. All you can do now is watch." He ran his hand down Rachel's arm and then onto the side of her thigh, making sure Zero could see everything he was doing. Asim stared hard at Zero as his smile vanished. "You must have sensed the child Faint Shadow carries within her, a child that should never have happened, what do you know of it? Or where do I have to go to find out more about it?"

Zero smiled at him. "As the Count does, my information to comes with a price. But mine is all lustful." He said looking hard at Rachel. "I was surprised about you letting your kiddo save her. After all he still feels like killing you. But hey if it wasn't for you he wouldn't be here would he?"
He just kept staring at Rachel as he spoke. "I hope you are prepared for what answers you seek. After all they are staying in front of you." He licked his lips at Rachel as he moved his hands around his body. "Come on Rachel. I need you!" Asim stepped in his line of vision blocking him from seeing her.
"Not cool," he snapped, "But understandable. The Count and I both know information on this. Although sense I am in here I think Rachel needs to know the full truth." He paused until she showed him her face again. "Rachel my dear. I am your real father."
Rachels eyes grew wide as she froze in place.
"Your mother married a human like herself after you were born. She ran away from me but I found her again. I saw how you two were being raised and it made me go crazy. With Shadows super strength and your love for vampires and darkness. It was ment to be. So I was doing everything I could but the more I secretly got to know you both the more I craved you both. Man, I still do." He said licking host lips even more. "But when your mother found out she blocked Shadows memories and she thought you were to young to remember. What a fool. But then I learned she was going to take you away so I had to stop her. So I murdered everyone who got in my way to get to you both. I was to late. They sent you two away from me and gave you new false memories to block out the bad ones. But those were the best kind and I so hope to help you both to remember every little piece I did to you to go with the ones now."
He looked to Asim. "I guess forcing what we want we get, right?"
Rachel turned and headed for the door. Just outside she fell to her knees and threw up. She wasn't sure how she was doing it and blood was all she could throw up but knowing her own father... She threw up more blood. It was to much. God its was to much. Even though she wished its to all be a lie she knew deep down. She always knew.
Zero smiled at Asim. "Calm my little baby down and then we can talk some more, ok?" He was loving it. He just wished before Asim son came into the room that he would have said his line he had been waiting to say to her for awhile now. "Who's your daddy b*tch!" Then she would had said "You are." "Then he would had said "Youre f*cking right I am. I am your father and you have always belonged to me." He would have said this and more as he would be having his way with her but it was stopped before he could. The Count then locked away the key.
"I'll still be here *sshole. Just hurry up. Make sure my girl is alright."
(ooc: hope this is ok and isn't to dark. I watch a lot of Law and Order: SVU. So hope its ok.)

(OOC: It's fine lol, suits the theme I think)
Asim glared at Zero, any vindictive pleasure he had been taking in this moment was completely lost with the other vampire's shocking revelations. At first he had wanted to dismiss his words as bullsh1t but with everything Zero was... he wasn't a liar.
Saying nothing to Zero and letting his glare do all the talking, Asim went after Rachel and found the young vampire throwing her guts up just outside the room. "I didn't see that one coming." He told her. He could see she was upset but wasn't sure how best to comfort her, he still needed her in that room if he was going to stand any chance at getting his questions answered. "Rachel... I know this must be hard, but I need you to get it together and get back in there with me. I need you to be very strong for me right now."

She sat back and moved her knees up to her chest as she threw her arms around them hugging herself. She began to rock as the memories began to fluid back.
One that stood out above the rest. He had set up a tea party for her in the woods about a mile from her home. Their was stuffed animals in every chair but two. He put her at the head of the table as he sat next to her. Then he had her put on a very pretty purple dress with white shoes and he put her hair in pig tales with purple ribbon. They had a lot of fun until he moved close to her and his hands began to wander. She wanted to get up and play a different game so he picked her up and placed her on his shoulders. But he walked until they came to a cabin about another two miles from her home.
He went up to the door and walked inside. She had asked him if it was his house and he said it was now. He wanted to be close to her. She smiled as he put her down to explore his new home. He turned and locked the door and turned back to see her looking over some other stuffed animals he had on the couch. He walked over to her and took her hand in his and walked her into the bedroom. The memory of what he did to her was all to clear now. It was barried deep down but now the memory of his hands dancing all over her naked form as she was silently crying as they lay on his bed. He was now on top of her and then the pain and all that blood. She didn't understand it but now she did. He raped her of her childhood, of her family and of her soon to come life with someone special. She was so f*cked up nothing she cared about was mattering anymore.
She looked up at Asim. "f*ck you!" She said as she suddenly stood as she began to walk down the hall. He rushed after her and forced her to face him. She began to fight him but he slammed her against the wall. After a moment of her trying to get free she locked eyes with him. Listening to his words then she understood but she was still so scared. Even if he couldn't get free now she was still afraid.
The past was now here and here it would stay. She had two options from what she could hear Asim telling her. Either let it slowly eat her alive until she slips into madness or realize it has made her the person she is now and grow from it. She looked deep into his eyes and nodded.
"Fine," she said, "But if any other memories pop up I might not be able to handle it to remain in there but for you I will try." She took her hand in his and waited for him to lead her back into the lions den.
As they returned the smile on The Counts face was all to much like Zero's. He made eye contact with Rachael. "There is my baby girl. How you doing kitten?"
The nickname kitten popped into her head and then the name p*ssycat was heard. She shook her head and stepped towards the forcefield. "Better you son of a b*tch!"
He smiled even bigger as he faced her full. "Well, well well. Such a tough for such a small little mice. I can't wait to slap it right off."
She chuckled. "You really think that is possible? Yeah, right." She looked back at Asim with wide eyes awaiting for him to slip in with his questions again. His focus was on Rachael but to make Asim shut up from distracing him from his prize, Zero should tell him what he wanted to know with the right answers he wanted to know.

Asim folded his arms as he stared hard at the captive vampire. The counts features were begining to resemble Zero's so much it was getting hard to tell them apart. He was impressed Rachel had found the strength to come back into the room. He arrogantly decided the part of her that was him... the blood in her veins... was a great source of strength. But now wasn't the time to be admiring... he had moments left to get what he wanted out of his old rival.
"No more games dammit!" Asim snapped. "Tell me about this child or help me I will find where your real body is and make you nothing but a torso with a head!"

He looked at Asim. "If you let me kiss her then I will tell you all you want to know. Or just a touch. You got to give me what I want first buddy boy before I give you want you want. Other wise we are done here."
Rachel closed her eyes. She looked towards Asim. Pulling her over to the side she whispered, "As much as I don't want to maybe it could be for the best. If it gets you what info you need maybe it will be worth just that." She could see he didn't want to go for that. "We both love my sister Asim. If it helps her I will do what I can. She saved my life more then once, its the least I could do for her."
"Come on," Zero said from behind them, "I am waiting and I don't like to be kept waiting."

Asim's dark eyes darted from Rachel to Zero as the girl spoke to him privately. He didn't like what he was hearing, he didn't want the evil old leach anywhere near Rachel, let alone touching her.
He sighed and cast his gaze to the ceiling. He felt helpless. "She's saved my life as well, more than you know..." Faint Shadow's appearance in his life had given him purpose once again, a meaning and a passion. The human woman had saved him from himself and he owed her more than his life. He would do anything to ensure she was safe. But could he sacrifice one sister for another?
Asim heard Zero calling to them and growled a reply, "Shut up Zero, or you'll get nothing!" He turned back to Rachel. He looked into the girl's eyes as he put a gentle yet firm hand on her shoulder. "It's your call. I can't make this decision for you. I promise I won't let him hurt you if you agree... but won't think any less of you if you refuse. It's all down to you..."

Rachel turned and looked at Zero. His eyes said it all. How he longed for her. This had to be the right thing to do. She looked back at Asim. "It's what I want to do." She leaned in and kissed Asim on the lips then turned to Zero. "Count if you don't mind."
All of a sudden chain came out of no where and clipped onto Zero's wrists and ankles. It pulled him to the chair. He wanted to fight but then realized his hands and arms still could move some what freely making what he wanted easy. The force field dropped and the face of Zero and his own body appeared. It was in him the flesh.
She took a step back looking at him.
He smiled at her. "Don't worry baby. The Count is still here. He is just giving me what I want so you get what you want. So consider yourself lucky. So come over here kitten. Come to daddy."
Rachel looked to Asim. "Please look away," she whispered. She then walked over to Zero as his made her straddle him. He raisered her shirt as he began to kiss and suck her breasts. Touching and rubbing them as his other hand moved down word. "I want to make you excited." If it got what they needed she would do it. So she just closed her eyes.
"Oh baby. You like that. Come tell daddy you like it."
"Oh I like it daddy."
"Oh f*ck yeah. Oh come on. You can do it baby girl."
Rachel's breathing became heavy as he moved his hand faster and faster.
"Oh come on baby girl. Scream for your daddy. Oh thats it. you can do it."
Just before she reached the height of her excitment she quickly jumped back off him. The rage in his eyes grew as he began to scream and fight his chains. "You b!tch! Get back here, NOW!"
"Tell Asim what he wants to know and I will let you do more then just on the outside of my pants."
His expression went from rage to saticfaction. "You are my daughter aren't you." He looked to Asim. "Fine if you want to know what I know then here it is for you." He paused and took a long deep breath. "I had made a deal with someone. Someone you know Asim. He made it so anyone after I turned into a vampire could bare children. Crazy aint it? But yeah their you go. He made it possible. Dont ask me how he did it but he did. Your son is here for a reason. Your grandson is the new chosen one to come step up and to help the current one now. She had died and so the world needed another. Who knew she would live, right? So now the world has too. Thing is you can't have two chosen ones and sense she is still here one of them will become evil. That is yet untold but who knows. Maybe your pup will surprise a lot of people. Unless someone like me gets their hands on him." A big smile crossed his face. "Oh and by the way. Your friend The Count is the one I was speaking about. He has the other half of the details." He then unzipped his pants. "You promised baby girl."
Rachel smiled at walked over to Zero. Leaning her lips down so they were almost touching his as she began to reach out she suddenly paused, "I guess I am like daddy's little girl." She back off quickly as Zero began to scream. Suddenly the chains fell and The Count stood to his feet. Looking at the two of them he smiled. "Well you got your info from him. My work here is done."
"No, wait, stop!" Rachel yelled rushing towards him but The Count disappeared. She turned to Asim. "Now what?" She said looking into his eyes and saw something in them she yet hadn't seen before. "What?"...

Asim shook his head, he had been lost in his thoughts and hadn't heard Rachel calling his name for a moment. "Nothing. Just thinking." He sighed, still digesting all the information Zero had given him. He seemed to think that Faint Shadow's child would be pretty important in the years to come.
"The count must have his own reasons for helping create Qalyur, that is not important. What IS important that I make sure your sister's child doesn't go down the wrong road... he will need guidance. I will have to find Amira Nuit and make her aware of what Zero has just told me." Asim had only heard of another 'chosen one' in his lifetime... perhaps it was time to see her. He knew very well which side she batted for. She was a name all evil creatures feared or were atleast wary of. Himself included.
Asim sighed and rubbed his forehead as he sat down in a chair in the corner, the events of the past few weeks were giving him a headache. He couldn't wait to finish this whole thing and go back to his solitude. He knew of someone who might know Amira's current whereabouts.
"Rachel I need you to go to a diner called Dreadimore Demon Bar. Ask for a Cage-Fighter called Nick Owens, he is the only person I know to have come back from hell with a group that included Amira. He may know where to find her. I'd ask him myself but he knows I'm a vampire so he won't help me, you're going to have to pretend to be a human to get him to talk. He has a massive ego so play up to it. Can you do this?"

Rachel paused as she listened to Asim words. Thinking she finally said, "Yes, I will be up to it. For you I would go as far as dying if need be." She did love him but she still didn't think he loved her in the way she loved him. Well she could be with him, unlike her sister, it was good enough for her.
"Just tell me what you want me to do or say and I will do it, ok? I am here for you." She awaited his orders and then they would go from there.

Asim smiled softly at Rachel, he trusted her words...
A few hours later, Asim walked with Rachel to the Dreadimore Diner. He mulled over his thoughts as they walked in silence, asking himself if he really knew what he was doing. Was it really worth going through all this to find out about Faint Shadow's son? He couldn't affect the outcome of the child... but he just had to know.
When they arrived at the diner Asim peered inside through a window and saw the young man they were looking for sat in a booth by himself. Nick Owens, the cage fighter. He didn't know how a mere human could hold his own in a ring against all manner of supernatural creatures and even survive, let alone win. Some said the man's inhuman strength and endurance came from government testing, others said he made a pact with a demon. Whatever the reason, Nick had never made it publicly known.
"There." Asim hissed quietly, pointing Nick out like he was an assassination target. "Remember he hates vampires, the moment he realises you are a vampire he won't help us out, and it's very important we find out where Amira is or what happened to her. If he does see through you, then I'll have to get the information out of him another way... but that might be difficult seeing as he's alot tougher than he looks." Asim turned to Rachel. "I know I'm asking alot of you, just play up to his ego, act like a dumb fan or something... but don't do anything you aren't comfortable with. Okay?"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick Owens looked like any ordinary young man. He was very handsome and his muscled frame filled out his black hooded sweater very well, but there was nothing particularly remarkable about him in a world filled with demons. ghosts, vampires and other weird things. Unfortunately, Nick knew he was good looking and acted with a certain ammount of arrogance around others.
The young waitress was busy waiting on a table where an elderly couple sat with her back to Nick as he yawned and reached out a hand to gently slap against her bottom. "Oh my bad." He said when she turned to glare at him. "I didn't mean to do that... nice a$$ though." He gave her a wink and a boyish grin and the waitress sighed. "It's a good job you're a regular here, otherwise we'd turf you out on yours." She said and smiled. "Coffee and the usual burger right?" "You got it babe." Nick answered and sat back in his seat comfortably. He started thinking about an upcoming fight and didn't notice anyone coming in or out of the diner...
