Rachel smiled as she kissed Asim on the cheek. "I know just how I will play this." She turned and began to walk over towards the man that Asim had pointed out to her. But before she could reach him three vampires she had seen once before stood in her path. She will play the damsel and win him over.
"Well, boys look what we got here. Long time no see b*tch!"
"I...uh..."
The two vampires went around her and the one who was their leader stood before her. The two grabbed her from behind as the leader walked up to her their faces inches from one another. "You can believe I will not make the same mistake twice." He back handed her hard enough he cut her lip and then he grabbed the back of her head and pulled her close so he could lick her blood as he then kissed her. Pulling back his eyes locked with hers. He knew when he licked her blood something was different. A big smile crossed his face then. "Oh, I am so going to enjoy you. Forever and..." just then he went flying across the room. The man that she was sent in here to speak with was helping her. She was strong and smart. Able to do anything on her own as Asim taught her to do but to see a human fight her her as Shadow had done for a vampire, she was getting it now. The human was strong and sexy to behold in the least. She just watched in amazment as he fought to protect someone he didn't even know. That was what her sister fought for and now she began to wonder if that isn't her path too.

Asim hoped he wouldn't have to intervene in the sudden outbreak of violence and stepped back into the shaows until he was nigh on invisible...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(OOC: I wasn't quite sure if she had entered the diner or not yet. My post goes along with the idea she is still outside. Can change if desired)
The sound of a woman in distress reverberated in Nick's ears and he snapped his head about. The other people in Dreadimore Diner didn't seem to have noticed anything... but then Nick's senses were above normal human abilities. Quickly leaving the diner he saw a woman outside being assaulted by three male vampires. He hated vampires above all else... Dirty blood-suckin' freaks! He thought as he quickly approached them.
Nick had too much adrenaline in his system to hear what the lead vampire was saying to the girl, but then it hardly mattered. One punch sent the creature flying aside and made his presence known. "How about you unhand the lady guys?" Nick asked the two other vampires.
One sniff of his scent and they grinned. "You think you're going to take the three of us on? A mere F**king human?" Nick shrugged, showing nothing but indifference towards such a dangerous encounter. "It's not like I had much else to do tonight." This was how Nick lived his life, though these were difficult odds. He felt the vampire he had punched suddenly come rushing at him from behind and drove his elbow backwards into the vampire's face. There was a sickening crunch and the vampire fell onto his back and stayed down this time. The remaining two vampires lost their nerve and turned to high tail it out of there.
NIck went over to the young woman they were attacking. He figured she had to be a tourist to Blood Red City or something. The locals knew not to go wandering about alone at night. The city was a notorious vampire feeding ground and a single woman alone was a snack too tempting to refuse.
"You okay babe?" He touched her arm and winced. "Wow you're cold... here..." He shrugged off the leather jacket he had been wearing ontop of his hooded sweater and put it around the girl's shoulders. "I'm guessin' you aren't from around here?"

(OOC: She was inside but hey its cool. I can still work with it. ^_^)
"Oh, thank the stars. I was so scared." She said as he helped her up. "I've been wondering around not knowing which way to go. I feel like I am about ready too..." She pretented to fall into his arms as her eyes locked with his. Such a strong orb of man. "I...uh....thank you for saving my life. I have ran into that creature before and to say the least he wasn't as nice then as he still wasnt now."
She smiled at him as she put an arm over his shoulder as he helped her into the cafe. She turned her head knowning where Asim was and smiled softly. Then she turned back playing up her pain just right. As they sat down at a table she couldn't older blood. That would give her away. She then looked at the menu and said as the waitess came over and raised her eye bow and the new woman that Nick was now with.
"Uh, you work quickly don't ya?" She then turned to the woman. "What will it be sugar?"
She looked up at the waitess with a soft sad smile and said, "A hamburger, medium rare. I like it mooing but not all the way." She smiled at her as the waitess rolled her eyes thinking it wasn't that funny. She walked away as Rachel looked back at the man.
"I guess she didn't like my joke," she said trying to seem like everything was fine. But in real life Rachel had to make joke when she didn't want to feel scared or worried. It was her self defense against the world. "Sorry. I don't mean to make jokes. It just makes me feel like I need to because I hate feeling scared. So to make me try and feel better I make jokes but even my mouth can get me into trouble. Silly I know but I do it."
She took a drink of water and she wanted so badly to spit it out but she didn't. She played it cool like so he wouldn't expect her of being anything else. Swollowing her water she met his eyes again as she smiled softly and said, "I wanted to thank you again for saving my life. Not many people would do that. Why risk your neck for someone you don't know, right? But I must say the stories I have heard of this one woman trying to make a difference. Believe me when I say I wanted to join her side. That is why I am here. A group of monsters like those had tried to hurt my family. They almost did but the brave one saved us. She was like no other before. That was when I was so young and long ago but I never forgotten her. I am on a quest to find her and to join her cause but thing of it is I don't know how to locate her. Oh, listen to me just going on and on. Normally I am not like this but you just seem like the type that I could say anything too and I know deep down everything will be ok."
She smiled a little sweeter at him. God was she good. It wasn't like they were going to hurt him because they weren't. They just needed information. Hopefully he doesn't see threw her in order to get it. But even her herself was beliving her words. Yep, she needed to become an actress. Learn for the best. Then her mind set on Asim and wondering what he was thinking of her performence. He was the best teacher she had ever had. Hopefully he was please with her. Soon they will be on their was again and soon hopefully they will grow more as one.

Asim watched as Rachel entered the diner with the human. So far so good, it seemed he didn't suspect what Rachel really was. Asim stayed on alert however, vampires had a knack for revenge and he had a feeling he should be watching out for the three vampires that had just made a sharp exit.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick grinned widely at the waitress when she made her remark. To say he worked quickly was an understatement. Different girl every week. He usually went for dumb hotties but they had a tendancy to get boring very quickly. He remembered one female... a long while back now. The kind of woman you would journey to hell to try and help save... but she had been trouble, dangerous trouble.
Nick suddenly realised the girl was speaking to him and brought himself back to the present. He smiled at the girl's assessment of speaking through her fear. He understood completely, it was one of the oldest tricks in the book as far as fighting was concerned. He was full of gung-ho bravado himself. Instead of jokes he gave out insults in his fear to drive the enemy into a frenzy.
Nick listened to the rest of what the girl had to say, particularly about this female 'saviour'. He folded his arms and rested his elbows on the table as he leaned forward, still looking into her eyes. "Some people have a strong sense of right and wrong." He said. "Good job it's not just the bad guys with all the power huh?" He realised the girl he had just saved was a complete stunner... but also familiar looking which was weird.
"I think my mouth is about to get me into trouble." Nick said with a grin as their food was put down on their table. "How about going out with me?"

Rachel was surprised at the sudden question. Smiling at him she said, "Sure sounds like you could be a lot of fun but first can you tell me how I can find this woman I have been speaking about. I believe her name is Amira if memory survies me right. Like I said I wish to thank her by also joining her down the line sometime." Just give me the information buddy. Come on Asim is waiting for me. She really wanted to just leave but something felt like it was drowing her to him. Maybe his good looks and charm or just wanting to be around him. Mostly she hadn't gotten the info yet but something said if she did she couldnt leave right away. It was be to weird. So she would remain with him just for a little while until she was able to find her exit. So she just wanted until he spoke again.

As soon as the girl mentioned the name Amria, Nicks' smile vanished. It was no secret he had been seen with her during that crazy time they spent together in this reality and hell. He couldn't forget that crazy, sexy broad if he tried...
Nick composed himself better and the smile returned as he leaned back in his seat. "So... You're looking for Amira Nuit then huh?" The girl nodded and Nick shrugged. "I'll take you to her when you're finished." He pushed his own plate of food aside, his appetite suddenly gone. He watched the girl intently as she ate then they got up to leave.
Nick took the girl down an alleyway out of sight of the street. "JUst a bit further." He told her and checked about to make sure they were alone. Though he couldn't help but feel they were being watched.
Suddenly Nick turned on Rachel and thrust her up against the wall with a heavy thud. He gripped her arms and got close enough in her face that he could smell her perfume. "I don't know who you are lady but I know who sent you. I told the last minions from hell to go f**k themselves. I ain't tellin' any of you freaks where she is? You got it?"

As Rachel finished her meal they got up and walked out. She didn't look around as to fear he would see her and know something was up. As they walked down an alley she suddenly was taken off guard as he grabbed her and threw her up against the wall. As he spoke she was in true fear of him knowing she was a vampire and was afraid of what he was about to do to her but when she listened to his words she knew her cover wasn't blown just yet.
"Look, I dont know who you are talking about. I need her help. Honestly and truefully I need her. Please dont hurt me." She shook and her eyes screamed please dont kill me. Part of her knew she was acting but she knew this man could kill her if he wanted too. The stories Asim told her of him made her want to run but she kept herself in check as much as she could. "I have a family issue and I need her help to make sure they remain safe from two powerful and evil vampires. Please, thats all. I swear it." She awaited to see if he would see right threw her but in fact it was true. They wanted to protect her sister child and they needed her help to do that. Rachel didnt know for sure why but she never questioned Asim intensions in the least.

Nick relaxed slightly as he heard the girl's plea. He searched her face but saw no lie there. He let go of her shoulders, realising she was afraid and wasn't a threat. He backed up a step and scratched his head awkwardly. "Uh... sorry about that, I had to be sure." He sighed and looked the girl over once more. "Look... I'm sure she'll help you. That's what she does. But I wouldn't think about trying to join her cause unless you can handle yourself."
"There they are!" Came a sudden voice from further down the alleyway. Nick turned his head and saw the three vampires from earlier come stalking towards them. He groaned as he realised they had been joined with four others.
"Oh not now." Nick whined and shook his head. He stood firm as the seven vampires drew in close and curled his hands into fists at his side.
"Think you could just take this one off us and walk away?" The leader vampire snapped, pointing at Rachel as he spoke. "We saw her first!"
"Yeah, well, it's the last thing you'll ever see!" Nick said and raised his fists infront of his face, adopting a guarding stance. To him it was like a fighting exercise. "You might wanna get out of here." He called over his shoulder at the girl...

Rachel smiled big and said, "Oh, I think I can handle myself. Well, I think I can. My sister can handle herself and has taught me a few moves so I think I can do well." They began to walk as she kept explaining not thinking about keeping her senses up. "Maybe I can show you before something..." it was like she opened her mouth and in popped her foot as the three vampires from before come around the corner and had a few more buddies with them. Damnit, she thought, How can I help fight and now show my true strength?
Looking around a plan was forming and forming fast. "Look we just didn't hit it off ok? Its not like you're not my type or anything like that its just you're face well just looks so dorkish. I just can't work with that. Maybe some makeup or something?"
That made him really angry. "Oh, I am really going to enjoy torturing you."
"Well, if its anything like just starring at that face then success."
"Oh thats it b*tch!" He said as he rushed at her as the other rushed at the man.
As she watched her new friend being distracted by the others she turned with her hands on the ground and as the leader rushed she kicked him like a horse sending him flying into some cans. She turned as another rushed at her and she jumped over him and kicked him in the back watching him fly forward into more trash cans. This was becoming a fun time. She turned and saw a vampire going to jump Nick from behind and she yelled out, "Nick, behind you!" As the leader got up and rushed at her again. "Come on man. Give up!"
"Not until I have you in chains."
"Good luck. Not even..." She paused about to say Asim name and caught herself.
The leader this time got ahold on her and was about to punch her when Nick grabbed him and sent him flying in one quick move. She looked to him. "Thanks buddy." As more rushed toward them. "Any more bright ideas?" She asked seconds away from being mobbed.

"Yeah that's what I'm talkin' about!" Nick wooped as he threw a vampire head first into some trash cans. He was breathing hard and sweating from the exhilaration of the fight and threw his arms up in the air in a challenge to the others. THe grin fell from his face when he heard the approaching horde...
"UH... not that I like to do this kinda thing..." Nick answered the woman as he heard a nest load of vampires coming their way, "But we gotta get to better ground." He grabbed her arm and pulled her along as they high tailed it from the alleyway with the mob of vampires in pursuit. As they left the mouth of the alley he could have sworn he felt something swoop down overhead behind them but didn't have time to check it out...
---------------------------------------------------------
Asim jumped down into the alley behind Nick and Rachel as they ran away and glared at the vampires. They slowed their advance when they noticed him. Even young vampires like themselves could tell he was very old and powerful. "You are trying to capture my thrall for yourself?" Asim wanted to know. "Hey man... uh... we didn't know." One of the vampires stammered. "B-but that guy attacked us... we gotta save face y'know?" "I care not about the human." Asim said coldly. "The girl is not to be harmed while she is with him, when they have parted company you may exact your revenge as you wish upon the fighter." After speaking Asim stepped into the shadows and was immediately lost from sight...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick opened wrestled open the door to his apartment and shut the jammed door after he and Rachel had stepped inside. "Make yourself at home." Nick said and waved his arm across his simple and scruffy dwelling. "Beer?" He wandered through into the kitchen and grabbed them both a bud. He handed one to Rachel and leaned against cracked wall paper as he took a long happy swig from his own.
"So... you wanna know how to find Amira." NIck said and looked absently towards the window. "Truth is, she is in a place I can't get to. No violence is allowed inside the place she lives at the moment. I don't know if it's a magical enchantment or anything or even what it's called... but I know how you can get there. If it's what you still want."
Nick set his beer down on a table and stepped closer to the girl. He had a half smile on his face as he peered down at her. "You handled yourself pretty well back there." He said, reaching out to brush some hair out of her eyes. "What's your name?"

Rachel was pleased to see a human such as himself hold his own. She had guessed it was the same way with Asim and her sister. The human instead of getting beat she was the one doing the beating and he liked it. She chuckled at that thought.
Then she was suddenly jerked from her thoughts as the human grabbed her and pulled her away from there. She was happy to go with him. As they got to his place he didn't even hesitate to invite her into his place so she didn't even need to wait to enter. It helped to keep her clover at bay.
As he offered her a beer she said, "Sure, I could use one after all that madness back there." She smiled big as she opened the beer and took a deep swig. It was her first time as a vampire to have any kind of alcohol and even though it wasn't blood it was still ok.
Looking around his place as she was resting up against the counter in the kitchen she focused more on his words. "Uh...." she said thrown off as he was now being gentle by brushing her hair back to look into her eyes, she suddenly stepped to the side. "Rachel," she said nervsely. "And you are?" Trying to remember if she asked his name before or if she said, all was racing because he was trying to get close to her. It was bad. Maybe because well they were two different people. 'God, just tell me where to go to find Amira' she screamed in her head. 'What to do here?' She was unsure so she was just gonna try and keep some kind of distence from him.
...........................
The Count appeared in his castle. Looking around two of his servents came walking over to him.
"Anything we can do for you master?"
"Not right at this moment," he said waving him off. Walking towards a melt door he opened it and walked inside. His servents quickly closed it behind him. The looked down at the man chained to the wall who was sitting on a bare mattress.
The chained man looked up at him. "So, are we having fun?"
The Count knelt down before him. "I know you want her Zero but this isn't the way to go about it."
"I told them what you wanted me too. Just let me go now."
"I can't. I made a promise."
"Sense when have you kept good on any of your f*cking promises," he shouted.
The Count smiled. "I promised to keep you in that wall. Are you in it?"
Zero muffled, "No."
"But, I didn't promise to keep you locked up. Inside this sale you can not use your powers. It was desighed that way."
"I want her Count! I need her. Come on just bring her into this room. Please. I want hurt her."
The Count smiled. "Man, you are a horny little prick aren't you?"
"Nothings changed. I want her. I need her."
The Count stood. "I'll think about it." He turned can began to head for the door.
Zero reached out for him. "Please Count." He cried.
He turned and looked down at the scary excuse for a vampire and said, "I'll think about it." He turned and walked out listening to the sounds of Zero's screams of anger. The Count smiled as he looked to his servents. "Make sure he gets some blood."
"Yes, master."
The Count then walked down the hall and to his elevater. Going up 3 levels from the basement to the top floor he walked out and turned to the right. Heading down the hall to the last door he opened it and smiled. Looking at the naked female human chained and gagged to his bed he smiled big. Walking into the room he closed the door behind him ready for his time of pleasure and fun.

"You don't know who I am?" Nick opened his arms out wide and looked at Rachel with his eye brows raised, hoping any minute she would recognise the famous cage-fighter that stood before her. When she still seemed completely oblivious to his identity he relaxed and sighed. "I'm Nick. Pleasure to meet you." He could tell she was keeping a distance from him and he had to give her the respect to stay away.
Draining the last of his beer he wiped his mouth and stared at Rachel. "Okay, we can go and try to enter this place now if you want. I think it's got many entrances... but I know of only one. You ready?"

Rachel watched him down his beer so she copied his actions and down hers finishing it off. She whipped her mouth and placed the can down on the counter. Then looking towards him as he spoke she smiled softly as she said, "Sounds great. Yeah, I am ready. Whenever you are Nick." She studied him for a moment. From what Asim said about this man he was a well known fighter. A human man taking down her kind so many different times in the ring and off. The man seemed a little off. Maybe distracted for some reason. Or disappointment. She wasn't totally sure but maybe she should mention something about.
"Oh, and on the way maybe you could talk about your fighting matches. When I was asking around on how to find Amira someone mentioned you and they talked about how they never missed a match. They said that you were the best and a big fan. Saddly I do not know the man's name who spoke so highly of you but I knew I had to find you." She smiled a little bigger. "I am so glad I have too." Looking at one another a few moments she finally said, "Let's be off then." Turning breaking eye contact. 'Remember what you are' she reminded herself. 'Now wasnt the time. When they found the hid out then maybe she was let him know. Yeah, then. He seemed nice enough that just maybe he wouldn't hurt her. She didn't want to hurt him. One could hope.

Nick cheered up somewhat with the girl's comments about his fighting. He had spent enough time in this godforsaken dump so should have picked up a few fans atleast. He was thinking about leaving town after helping this girl find Amira. There wasn't much else here for him. He missed the sun.
Nick and Rachel left the apartment and headed through town. It was quiet as usual in the part he lead the girl. While they walked he started telling her about a fight he had with three vampires at the same time. "They were comin' for me fast and hard... I couldn't tell which was which, but that didn't matter... I smashed my fist into them and pulverised them one at a time-" He made a punching motion as he talked, "-damn dirty vampires, they really are the scum of the earth, y'know what I mean?" He would have spat if a lady wasn't present. "Well here we are..." He suddenly announced when they arrived in a cemetry. He pointed towards a mausoleum. "See that? The entrance to this place is in there. I guess this is where we part company. Been nice to meet you, Rachel." He said and held out his hand for a farewell shake...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally... Asim thought as he watched from behind a gravestone. It seemed Rachel had done him proud and lead him to the hiding place of the chosen one. He felt weird being unarmed but he wasn't going to get into this place if he went in guns blazing. He waited until Rachel bid her farewells to the human then he would join her...

A link for Drake Von Cartesian's character Profile: fantasy1987.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=vamprules&action=display&thread=1203&page=1The black limo pulled up in front of the count’s enormous mansion and the vampire in charge of security approached to deal with the driver. The window rolled down and a vampire female with serpentine lilac eyes and dark hair plastered back across her head smiled curtly at the count’s security. “Milord Von Cartesian wishes to visit the Count.” The vampire gulped with uncertainty. He had heard rumours the vampire lord had returned from self imposed exile to the world. He had also heard of the vampire’s necromantic powers, turning anything dead into a mindless puppet for his own amusement… and it was well known Drake Von Cartesian was a cruel S.O.B. “Relax.” The female driver told him. “He is an old friend of the count’s. He may be expecting him.” “Ofcourse.” The security vampire stammered, suddenly wanting to let the vampire in above all else. He was powerless to stop himself from waving the limo to enter the lot. “Welcome to the Count’s mansion.” He said. Drake Von Cartesian smiled slightly as he sat back comfortably in the rear of the limo. His dark red eyes were hidden beneath a pair of black shades and he peered at the security vampire through the window as they drove past him. Reaching into his mind had been easy, it always was with young vampires. It was the older ones that were hard to master. “Do you wish me to come inside with you master?” The female driver asked him after she parked up the limo. “No, be a good girl and wait here with the car, Lila.” Drake purred, his deep voice as smooth as velvet. “As you say milord.” Drake stepped out of the limo, pleased to finally be out after a long journey. He took a deep breath in of Red Blood City air through his nostrils, the place stank of blood, foul decay, corruption and cheap perfume. Perfect place for a vampire. So this is the place you are hiding then, Amira? I wouldn‘t have expected this of you. Drake thought to himself, then approached the entrance of the mansion… Drake was shown to a reception area and served a flute of blood on the tray of a trembling human slave. Drake took the glass and stared at the young woman through his dark tinted shades and relished in her terror. The Count certainly kept attractive pets around him. Oh the things he would do to the girl if he got the chance, but this was the house of another vampire of equal status and it would be impolite to help himself uninvited to the Count’s own servants. Drake waited until the Count came to see him and turned to his old friend as he entered the reception area. He could smell the scent of a girl on him…and his necromantic powers told him that she was well abused, it was a pity he had not arrived in time to watch her deflowering. “Ah, Count.” Drake said, still smooth as silk as the empty flute was taken away from him. “Exquisite vintage. A 16 year old virgin I believe. French in origin.” A slight smile played at the corners of his lips. “You haven’t changed a bit, what has it been? Three hundred years? I hear rumour you even have that psychotic Zero chained up around here. I apologise to have interupted your...'amusements' but I believe you know why I am here. Is it true? Is Amira Nuit about to resurface?”
