The werewolf merely shook her head, the fiery red tendrils swaying back and forth with the motion.
“Florida huh?” Gabby thought about it for a moment. “I think I’ve been there, it was a long time ago though. Very hot and humid environment, not really my taste.” She gave a small smile.
“I’m fine you can have it.” She stated still turning the coals to keep them warming the meat that was hanging above them.
“Nothing is ever a mistake my dear. Everything we do we do for a reason. And even if life has thrown us a few hardships it’s our job to fight through them and com out a better person on the other side of that battle field. “
Gabrielle knew all too well was it was like to run away from places. She had done it a on many occasions, but that was before. Before she had realized that it was better to stay and fight for herself and for her beliefs than to run and cower in fear.
The she-wolf’s sensitive ears twitched she had hear something move in the woods. Her attention snapped into that direction. She hated hiding, she hated being hunted. It made her skin crawl, her nerves stand on end, and just plain old irritated her.

Beth quickly morphed into her wolf form and looked toward the sound she growled slightly but intimatingly. She was the opposite of Gabby, unlike her she kinda like being hunted, but only because her life was so dull. Being hunted just made her life a whole lot more intresting. Her lips curled back into a snarl showing her teeth. She calmed down once she realized that it was just a squirrel.
She figured to cook the squirrel to, after all it was more food. She snuck up to the squirrel and pounced, right when she did that though her legs got caught in a string trap and she was dragged into the darkness. When she got to the intruder she growled and tried to fight back. Despite her efforts she was knocked out with a Willow tree branch.
When she finally came to she found herself in a cave of some sort and in a cage. Suddenly she was not that fond of being hunted.

Of course as soon as the trap sprung, Gabby was on her feet. But it was too late they were read for her. Apparently the two scouts she had deflected earlier had stuck to their promise. And told their friends just what they were up against. Gabrielle growled and attempted to swing at the assailants, but was hit in the back and chest with strong dosage of tranquilizer. Before she knew it she slunk to her knees and closed her eyes, and hit the forest floor. And that’s all she remembered.
Dreams swarmed in on her, memories of years ago. Her twin sister’s voice echoed insider her head of songs and promises made. Visions of her homeland flashed before her, the soft rolling green hills, large majestic mountains, and happy townsfolk going about their daily business. Then the scene switched. The village erupted into flame, bloody bodies littered the ground, and bone chilling screams filled the air. Then the lycans entered her thoughts. The pack she had left behind, and the sadden teary blues eyes of her sister. Gazelle.
Still under the effects of the tranquilizer, she too was caged and placed in the same area as Beth. She was lost in her dreams, and memories.

Beth transformed to her human form and looked saw Gabby in a cage also. Despite Beth being in shock and dismay she whispered out to Gabby. "Gabby, GABBY!" She whispered and soon realized that her efforts were useless. She shrunk down to sitting postion and brought her knees up to her face. Salty tears started to well up in her eyes and roll down her very petite face.
Were they going to die? She asked herself completely lost for answers. Suddenly her captors came in through the sliding doors and advanced toward her. She morphed back to her wolf form and started to growl and snarl. "Perfect specimen, the boss will be pleased. Of course we wont know the full extent of the other's abilities until she wakes up, but I am sure she will be just as valuable." Said one of the captors. Soon after examining both of them they left.

Gazelle was standing in front of her, long red hair gently swaying in the brisk mountain breeze. Then Gaz's lips started to moved and she was calling to her. But it wasn't her sister's voice, it was someone else's. It seemed familiar though. Beth's voice to be exact. That's when her dream went black an moments later she heard two other voices, ones she did not know. She waited until the other two disappeared, then her eyes fluttered open and a groan escaped her.
"Uh... My head."she stated as she sat up and placed a hand upon the side of her head. Blinking away the blurriness blue eyes tried to piece together her surroundings. "Where am I?" She whispered more to herself. Then she noticed Beth not to far away.
"Hey chika you okay?" Gabby asked her voice still slightly groggy.
"Wow..what did they hit me with?" She asked shook her head. "I feel awful."
She had taken notice they were caged. But wasn't concerned with it at the moment. She was more worried about her pounding head.

"Yeah I'm fine." She said looking at her. "I could ask you the same thing." She said concerned about her newfound friend. What were they going to do to them? She asked herself trying to get her head screwed back on straight. She had a headache herself and shook her head quickly back and forth trying to shake it away but that just made it worse. She was so tired but she knew she couldn't go to sleep in fear of the Blood Hunter scientists would come back.
"Any idea for an excape?" Beth asked Gabby because she had no idea what to do now. She had always gotten away and was never in this situation.

“I don’t know let me think for a moment.” She answered her companion’s request for an escape route. Gabby’s head throbbed as she glanced around the cave. Taking into detail the number of exits and entrances, so far she only could see one and that was the door that the two hunters had walked in and out of. The she-wolf ran her hand through her hand, and fluffed it up a bit to loosen the strands. It helped to ease the ache. Giving a sigh she glanced around the cage, taking in bolt patterns and trying to see if there were any weaknesses in the welds of the metal. Her sharp white teeth chewed on the inside of her cheek as she thought.
Truth be told she had never been captured before. Normally she minded her own business and did not end up in trouble. Course she knew how to fight. That was the first thing her old pack had taught her sister and her. Nobody was in that group was allowed to be a weak link; the whole pack could be destroyed by one weak moment. The alpha, though as caring as he was, was not going to leave anything to chance and always made sure his pack was strong.
Her next step was to test the bars of the cage. She had not noticed if they were attached to any sort of power source, but there was only one way to find out if they were electrified and that was to touch them. Swallowing nervously she slowly reached out towards the bars. Fearless was not something that she was, tough yes, but not fearless. And being electrified was not something on the top of her list of things to do.

While Gabby was cautously going torward the bars with her hand, Beth had already started nawing on the bars in her wolf form. Without any luck she stopped looking through the bars. She lightly whimpered as she sat down onto the cold floor of the cage. Once she thought about she herself was kinda pathetic. Think about it, for the longest time she had gotten a thrill from being chased and finally it caught up to her.
Beth looked at Gabby with sad eyes as she morphed back to a person.

The red head gave out a sigh of relief when she touched the bars and was not shocked. This time she tested the strength of the bars, and again looked at the dimensions of the cage. She did a little math in her head. If her inner wolf would take over, her second form would be more than large enough to bust out. But the only problem was the moon. She had not figured out how to transform into her lycan form without the aid of the moon. The older and wiser wolves of her old pack knew the secret, but had not passed that on. “It is for you to figure out your own method.” One had told her when she questioned him.
A frown of thought crossed her features as she looked to Beth. Her mind was working. The gears were turning.
“I’ll figure this out Beth. Just give me time.” Gabrielle chewed absent mindedly upon the inner skin of her cheek as she pondered. Her vision was clear now and her head did not hurt as much as when she first awoke. There was a little tension there, but not so much to disrupt her thinking process. She was becoming slightly agitated by the predicament they were in. Actually to be more accurate she was fuming with anger, and she was trying her best to hold it back.
Her façade twisted from thought to rage. She could feel the rumble down in the depths of her throat. The growl became louder and louder. The she-wolf moved and grasped tightly onto the bars of the cage, leaving imprints of her hands in the metal. Then she threw her head back and burst into a frustrated howl, which seemed to shake the interior of the cave.

Beth had her eyes closed and her knees to her chin, she was upset. Suddenly when she heard Gabby growl loudly and shake the cave she scampered to one corner of the cave. She sat there and stared at Gabby with widened eyes, Beth had never heard anything like that before. To be completely honest she was kind of frightened.

After the howl dissipated her throat was still rumbling with the remnants of a growl. Her upper lips were drawn back in a snarl. Oh she was pissed. But when Gabby looked over to Beth and noticed her frightened state. The expression quickly disappeared. She gave a slightly sadden look. Then slowly she pried her hands off the now grooved bars and took a step back. She had not meant to scare her, but the emotion was so strong she could not stand it.
“We have to get out.” Her voice was still half a growl, and her façade changed to a more stern and agitated appearance. “I have a plan. I just have to figure out how to shift without the moon.”

"What makes you think that you can break the bars when you morph but I can't if I do?" Beth asked a little matter of factly, still a little frightened. Beth didn't know what to do she couldn't just sit there and let her and her friend die. As she was thinking about what she could do to help, the people in the white lab coats reentered. Beth morphed right defore they shot her with a seditive knocking her out almost right away. The last thing she saw was Gabby before her eyes clouded over.

All Gabby could do when Beth asked what a different her morphing could be. She obviously had never seen a lycanthrope in action. And the red head knew what her other half was capable of. There were many times when the full moon danced across the night sky, where the beast within demanded control. And the beast normally always got what it wanted. Even if that meant murdering another being, it was all for the lust and need and want of the beast. But Gabrielle had long become acquainted with the wolf within, and relished in the power. But that power was never allowed to control her. Yes she was c*cky, and quick witted. But she was not going around murdering and killing for her own gain. It was only to feed, and to protect herself.
However the she-wolf had no time to reply when men entered in their stark white coats, and Beth morphed but fell over in an instant.
“Beth!” That was the push she needed. She had just about had it with her captures. Though she really did not know them, she was tired and stressed from being caged and being controlled. Anger burned deep within her core, hatred towards the men soon followed suit. Her body began to shake and tremble. A low growl, that seemed far too large for her body, rumbled in the depths of her throat.
Her leg snapped and angled in an odd direction, and she crumbled to grasp the bars of the cage. Her blue eyes were clenched tightly shut, as was her jaw. The pain scoarching through her was immense, as it was with ever transformation she went through. Her bones and joints cracked and popped as they rearranged themselves. Fingers elongated into claws. Her nose and mouth grew into the shape of a muzzle, and ears shifted and began to point. Bright red fur with a slight white under coat began to emerge from her fair skin. Her clothes stretched and ripped as muscles and tendons increased in size as the creature emerged from its human form.
When the transformation was complete a humanoid wolf stood in place of the red headed woman. It was twice the size Gabby’s stature had originally been. The wolf opened its eyes to reveal the same harsh blue orbs of Gabby. A roar erupted from its throat, as the beast stared down at the lab workers. Claws flew out to grasp the bars of the cage. The metal began to groan in protest against the force the wolf’s strength. Finally the bars were pulled apart, and within seconds she was loose and flying towards the two men.

The lab workers let go of Beth and started to run screaming that they had to have an emergency lockdown. The got out of the room that Beth and Gabby were in and shut the doors behind them. Alarms were blaring as Gabby was breaking through the bars. Panic filled the whole building, they honestly were stupid enough not to be prepared for something like this.
