Gabriel stood with his head bowed, having an almost laughable argument with the Spirit, while developments occurred. *** "Just let me surface this time!" The Spirit growled, grabbing hold of his host's mental image's shoulders. "I deserve this!" "No, that doesn't need to happen. All you need to do is channel like the last two times!" "You idiotic boy, do you want to risk your pretty friend being killed and your mother being harmed when I could save both of them?" "I won't.""Do it!""No!""Yes!" "No!""FINE, you insolent whelp, I'll have to do it the hard way!" The Spirit headbutted Gabriel, knocking him out. What actually happened was very complex, but in layman's terms, the mage Spirit had forcibly taken control. *** Outside of Gabriel's mind, he breathed in deeply, then looked Nash in the eyes. His voice had changed slightly, with a weird accent coming through. "When will you guys learn, hm? Never mind the fact that I coaxed the young Gabriel here into utterly destroying a group of vampires earlier. And I know, you're not the same as those wimps, but please. I've roasted ten times as many enemies as you who were twice as deadly." His voice turned cold when he spoke again. "Now, get out. That's your only warning. If you don't, I will kill you both, then tear your spirits out of the Astral and cast them into the abyssal planes. That should be fun, if you can survive millenia of demonic creatures ripping and tearing at your beings, and then actually manage to find a way back out afterwords." Gabriel blinked, and his eyes were burning crimson again as he took a step sideways towards Olivia and Shadow. He spoke with the voices of the Spirit and Gabriel at once, creating a discordant effect in their words. "And if I have to dismantle the entire city to get rid of you, I will do it. What say you?"

Nash looked at Zero. Both men knew what this ment. Nash took out a syringe that had a dark green color liquid held within in. Without a moment of hestitating he pushed the tip of the syringe into Olivia's neck and pushed the end forcing the dark green liquid into her body. The girl began to scream as Nash leased her, she fell to the ground crying out in pain.
Shadow looked on in horror. "What did you do?" She demanded to know as the man that looked like her son rushed to Olivia's side.
"What I had to do. He gave me no choice," snapped Nash.
Zero looked stunned at Nash. "Even I didn't know about this. Hey partner. What the f*ck did you pump into her?"
Nash smiled at Zero. "It's ok buddy. I had to have a back up plan. This is a specail kind of poison. I do not have the antidote here but I can take you to it. And..." he looked at his watch as he contiued to say, "You have nine hours. Where I have hid it you can get to it without me." He clapped his hands together once as he said, "Now, who wants the girl to live?"
Shadow looked down at her son. Anger came over them both as Olivia whipered whatever she was trying to fight in her body. God she didn't want this for her son. She watched Amira go through all this hell. Now, it was her son's turn for enemies. It wasn't far but life never was and never will be.
She looked over at Zero. Hawk's eyes looked back at her with heartache and concern from the girl and it almost looked like Zero cared that he didn't want her to die either. Then the eyes turned to black so she was unable to read him. He turned away but you could tell he was hurting for the girl.
Shadow felt the need to reach out to him but then realized it was Zero not Hawk at the moment. He was getting under her skin and she began to wonder if it was his plan for her to care for the monster. She then shook it off and then turned back towards the scene before her. Their wasn't anything she could to right at this point which pained her. She wanted to protect her son. To be his hero but right now their wasn't anything anyone could do to help. Nash was calling the shots here. So they had to play by the basters rules. She just stood there and waited for her son to make the next move.

(OOC: Cheers for the invite Spartan, I’ve read the previous posts and I hope I’ve got the right idea about current location and ages etc. If anything in my post is non-cannon to what you guys were working on, let me know and I will change it. Cheers)
"Now, who wants the girl to live?"
“I think you should if you know what’s good for you.” A male voice spoke from the shadows. He stepped forward into the weak lighting of the room, deciding now was the time to reveal himself.
Tall, dark haired and handsome with the lean muscled physique of an athlete, He wore a simple grey hooded sweatshirt and jeans with no visible weaponry nor anything to defend himself. The newcomer also had an uncanny resemblance to the late Qalyur and in turn shared a lot of characteristics with Gabriel, who stood to his left with Olivia and Faint Shadow. The boy seemed to be coming in and out of his possessed sate, allowing some of his old personality to shine through.
It had been easy to get inside undetected with everything that had transpired in the last few moments. He had arrived in time to see enough of Gabriel’s transformation to know the rumours were true. It seemed a good thing he was here after all. He looked Gabriel up and down, he smiled slightly at the very confused look on the young man‘s face.
“I imagine you must have a few questions, I can’t imagine your mother has said much about me…”
He turned his gaze to Faint Shadow for the merest moment, the woman and one time love of his life had lost none of her beauty with the passing years. How long had it been, twenty? She was no longer the fresh -faced battle hardened girl he had encountered long ago, now she was a woman, somewhere in her middle years and her worries and concerns were tattooed across her expression. His smile vanished as he studied her, and for a second his dark eyes had almost sad look about them.
Turning his gaze back to Gabriel, he said, “we… need to talk, but first you need to get a lid on your temper until you learn how to use your powers properly... or you could end up tearing the world up beneath us."
Asim Ausar turned to face Nash and Zero. "Whatever you two were trying to accomplish here, it's too late, I'm here to protect my family..."
Gabriel was sure to develop enemies for the rest of his natural life that would try to prey on his weaknesses like these… but he would have allies and friends to help him out.

Zero back away from Nash. "He has poisoned the young girl. I had nothing to do with that."
Faint Shadow saw it was Zero clearly speaking. What was his game?
"You bastered," Nash hissed. "You've been in that body to long!"
Zero shook his head. Looking towards Shadow his eyes were of concern. "No," he turned towards Nash as he punished him across the face sending him to the ground.
Nash looks up at Zero in a daze. "Are you crazy? Think for a minute Zero. Don't do this!"
Zero turned towards Shadow. "I am sorry darling. I know where the antidote is to save her."
"Zero no!" Nash got up but Zero kicked him in the chest sending him out the window.
"I must help!" Zero snapped.
Shadow didn't know what to say or do. Her son's girl was dying and she had to do anything to save him. Now once her lover here before her and her father who should be dead is inside an angel and wants to help. What the f*ck was happening to her world?
She grabbed a hold of Asim and dragged him into the other room. "What the hell? How did you find me?" She had a feeling she knew the answer already but she had to hear it. That someone was watching her for him. She felt like slapping him across the face and yet she wanted to make love to him. It was all to much. How she missed this man. Her first true love.

Asim allowed Shadow to pull him out of the room and into some sort of kitchen. He gave her one of his irresistible boyish smirks and folded his arms. “Nice to see you too.” He could tell his casual attitude towards their situation was getting on her nerves. He had always enjoyed winding her up. Perhaps that was what had helped push her into the arms of a more considerate and sincere man.
“That's not important right now, Shadow, though i'm glad to see you made a good life for yourself.”His smile faltered and he looked away from her eyes a moment. “I uh... I hear Qualyur's dead. Sorry about your loss, we should talk about that later.” He motioned with his head back towards the main room. “Now I would advise if you want that girl in there to live, get on Zero's case now before he starts having second thoughts about getting us that antidote.”

Gabriel, or rather, Gabriel as controlled by the Spirit, created a rippling wall of force that would project around the house and at least slow down Nash from reentering. He then grabbed Zero-Hawk by the neck and dragged him out of the room and into the adjacent one Asim and Shadow were in, not even bothering to look down at the spasming Olivia as she weakly reached out for him.
"First off, nice to see you again Asim." Gabriel said, his eyes still glowing slightly red. "It's been too long. Second, you," he directed this at Zero, "start talking before I start having second thoughts." He tossed the possessed man down onto the floor in between himself and the two former lovers, then folded his arms across his chest.
