They ran was coming down hard. They couldn't see where they were going so they pulled the van over until the ran would ease up.
"What are you doing?" Amber asked as she was looking at Brock.
He turned around as he turned off the van. "Its rainning to hard. We need to stop and wait until this passes."
Amber looked at her other three friends in the van. All were asleep at the moment.
Then suddenly she heard Brock gasped. She turned towards him and asked, "What?"
Brock pointed out the windsheild at what he saw. "Is that what I think it is?"
Amber looked out and gasped too. The house before them was one that only heard about. That a child murderer and rapist use to live there.
"How in the hell?" Amber murmbered to herself.
"1428 Elm Street," Brock whispered. "I'll be damn. I think we should go in."
Amber shot him a 'are you f*cking kidding me' glare.
"What?" he asked her. "We should. The stories of that place and besides we will have a warmer place to sleep."
"Sleep? What are you talking about?" Amber yelled not realizing the others were waking up.
"Well, this rain isn't going to let up anytime soon. I think it would be for the best."
Amber couldn't believe what she was hearing. She would rather stay out in the van then to step in that place. God she was afraid.
(OOC: I left 3 characters for you to pick if you wanted two or three and to pick if you wanted to be 2 guys or a guy and a girl. We need at least one more girl and two more guys I think. Then we will go from there.)

(OOC: Yeah been working on the characters to try and create a varied bunch. This is gonna be so cool!)
“Man what’s with all the yelling?” Zack groaned, rubbing his neck and yawning. Suddenly, as he heard what Brock said, he lunged forward to peer over Amber’s seat, his boyish face was suddenly wide awake and excitement gleamed in his eyes. “1428 Elm Street… home of Fred Krueger. Awesome!” A couple of years younger than the rest of the group, Zack was mainly friends with them due to his sister, Amber. He had a skinny frame and had spiky dark hair and was wearing a black hooded-top decorated with some insignia that belonged to one of the latest rock bands. “Hey sis, y’know for once I’m gonna agree with your dip-sh1t boyfriend… we should totally check this place out.” Zack slapped Brock’s shoulder playfully. “Hey no offence there man.”
Sitting in the back another youth with average all-American good looks and brown hair peered at the house through the rain lashing the window pane. His name was David and he was the newest addition to the group of friends, having recently moved to Springwood from somewhere upstate. He was here because of his girlfriend. “Krueger, I’ve read about that guy… I thought it was all made up, like some kinda urban legend or something. We gotta take a look.”
David’s girlfriend, Bella, screwed her pretty face up with distaste. “Eww like we‘re seriously gonna go in there?.”
“Aw come on babe.” David insisted, giving her hand a comforting squeeze. “May as well have a look eh? Since we’re stuck here and all?”
Bella rolled her eyes and sighed deeply. “F*ck it, okay, let’s check it out then.”
It seemed out of them all Amber was still unconvinced and didn’t want to go in there. Bella edged forward and smiled at her friend. “Amber, remember when we were kids and we came by here after school one time? We dared each other to go and knock on the door.” Bella giggled at the memory. “… but we were always too scared to cross the driveway. Well, this will be like we’re finally getting the guts to overcome our fears. This is our last year at high school before we all leave for college… we are never gonna get a chance to do this. What do you say?” In a softer, more understanding voice, Bella added, “Look, if you really don’t want to go in there… then none of us will, we’ll just wait here in the van til the rain passes… but seriously, what’s the worst that could happen?”
All eyes turned toward Amber to see if she would give her consent for them to go to the house…

Amber was shaking her head. "No!" she cried as all eyes were on her. Looking around the stares were of shock and more so annoyed that she was refusing to enter sense an evil place. "Look you don't understand. The feeling I am getting from just looking at that place...Please don't make me...Brock?"
Brock leaned over and placed his forehead on hers. Whispering he said, "If you do not want to go then I will remain with you here, ok? I will not force you but if they want to go then they should. No need for all of us to freeze out her, right?"
Amber sighed. "But, I don't want anyone to go in. Please, listen to my words. Its not safe!"
"Sweety its just a house. Ok? Trust me they will be fine. We will be too. I will protect you. I promise my love." Brock began to caress her cheek with the back of his hand. "Do you trust me?"
A tear left her cheek. "Yes," she whispered as she pulled away but under her breath as she looked out at the house she mummbled, "But, I don't trust him."
As everyone got out of the van they rushed up onto the front porch. It was all boarded up tight she they began to wonder how to get inside.
"Does anyone have an idea on how we are going to get into this place?" Brock asked awaiting for someone hopefully with an idea.

“Well somebody think of something or we’re all going to freeze to death!” Bella whined, her teeth chattering as she rubbed vigorously at her dripping arms.
“Let’s check round the back. Maybe there’s an open window or something?” Zack suggested, his dark hair plastered to his forehead with the rain water.
“Then go and find out.” Bella snapped. “I’m not leaving this spot until someone gets this door open from the other side!”
Zack grinned and slapped Brock’s arm. “Come on man, let’s go look.” Zack and Brock darted off into the torrential downpour and were soon lost from sight by the three remaining teenagers as they huddled under the small bit of shelter the leaky porch offered them.
“Who’s idea was this again?” Bella mumbled irritably to herself. Pouting like an unhappy child, she folded her goose bumped arms tightly under her chest and turned to face the street.
David had been watching Amber the whole time, sometimes he wished his girlfriend could be more like her. There was a perpetuate seriousness about him that didn’t quite match Bella’s carefree persona. He suddenly leaned in closer to Amber, his deep brown eyes filled with concern.
“Hey…” He began softly. “A moment ago you said you didn’t trust ‘him’… who were you talking about?”
Meanwhile, Zack and Brock ran around to the back, jumping an old link fence before finding themselves in a very overgrown garden. What must have been the kitchen window lay open to them like a dark yawning mouth, the boards had already been broken off and lay in a haphazard pile on the floor. It all seemed very convenient…
“Gimme a boost.” Zack said to the larger boy and waited until Brock had cupped his hands together and braced himself to give Zack a lift up. Zack grunted as he hauled himself up to the window with Brock’s help and pulled himself through the opening. Zack dropped down on the other side into a filthy run down kitchen, he suddenly yelped out as a shard of broken glass jutting up out of the ruined window pane snagged on the sleeve of his hooded sweater.
“Son of a B!TCH!” Zack hissed, taking a moment to check out the nasty looking cut that ran along his forearm. “Got me good…” Suddenly there was a sharp knock at the back door. Zack moved over to it and undid the latch to let a soaking wet Brock come storming in. Brock looked p1ssed that Zack had kept him waiting outside in the rain. “Ah… had a little accident, no worries it’s okay.” Zack explained then grinned mischievously as he used a twig to pick up a used condom he’d spotted amongst the rubble on the floor. “Check it out, we definitely aren’t the first ones to break in here.” He waved the limp knotted piece of latex near Brock’s face, teasing him before throwing it back on the floor somewhere.
“’Spose we better let the others in.” Zack said. He suddenly felt an icy chill on the back of his neck…

Amber smiled at David but their wasnt anything behind it. "The boogie man," she said in a whisper to him. She looked into his eyes and it seemed he wasn't laughing at her. "He is evil and I don't trust..."
Suddenly Brock opened the door as Bella yelled finally and rushed inside before David and Amber. Both entered as Brock took Amber in his arms. He then took off his coat and placed it on her to keep her warm.
"We need to figure out how to warm this place up." Brock said.
Suddenly Amber noticed Zack's arm. "Are you ok?" Concern in her voice. She needed to help her little brother. How was she talked into this? "We need to find a kit."
David insisted to go with Amber to help her as she had Bella keep Zack awake. Brock looked for some wood to put into the fireplace to warm this place up for them. The rain wasn't stopping anytime soon so they had to remain at least until it let up.
As Amber and David headed upstairs she said, "Thanks for being here. I know we have been friends for a long time and I wouldn't want just anyone here. So, thanks." she said smiling at him as she laid a hand on his forearm. Then she removed it as they opened a door to a bedroom. The covers were drawn on the bed as their were candles and condoms on the tables and floor. "Wow, someone really liked to f*ck in here."

David volunteered to go upstairs with Amber in search of a medikit as he was the only person present who was a qualified to administer first aid. He screwed his face up at the sight in the bedroom and the heavy smell of mould. “Yeah I guess this is the ultimate place to bump nasties huh?” Then he quickly added, “For some people I mean.” Stepping further into the room he let out a nervous laugh. “Hey check this out.” On the flaking, damp-stained wall someone had scrawled in lipstick: 1, 2, Freddy's coming 4 U.
“Didn't that used to be part of some old song?” He asked Amber, then noticed she was visibly shaken by the discovery. “Um... we're only going to be here as long as the rain holds out so uh... try not to worry eh?” He gave the girl what he hoped was a reassuring smile then continued his exploration of the room. He found a small pink book under the bed which looked like someone's diary. “Wonder who this belonged to?” He wondered aloud and handed it to Amber.
David stepped out of the room and continued down the hall. The old floor boards creaked under his feet as the next room along turned out to be a bathroom. The mirror had been smashed and the tub was stained with cloying black sludge. He opened a cabinet and breathed a sigh of relief when he found a green first aid kit. “Amber in here.” He called quietly, not quite sure why he didn't want to raise his voice too loud. He opened the kit and found some plasters still in their wrappers. “Guess these will have to do.”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Zach yawned and sank further into the soft, comfy armchair, his eye lids fluttered heavily as he felt sleep starting to overwhelm him. “Ew I can't believe you're sitting on anything in here.” Bella said, eyeing the younger boy distastefully. “This place is a real dump!” Zach grinned and patted his lap. “Feel free to sit on me if you get tired babe.” Bella scoffed and raised an eyebrow. “I'd rather die thanks.” Zach laughed and shut his eyes. He went quiet.
“C'mon Brock, light that sucker or we're gonna freeze to death!” Bella grumbled, rubbing vigorously at her arms as she went to stand over him while he worked on the fireplace. Unfortunately for her David hadn't been wearing a jacket to give her and she had left the house wearing a small half vest and shorts that were half way up her backside. However this morning had started off as a nice day and she hadn't envisioned being marooned in some creepy old house in the pouring rain. Right now she was ready to worship Brock like some ancient Greek deity if he managed to provide her with some much needed warmth...
