I like using pictures in my bios.....As you can tell.
Name: Lig
Nickname: Lizard
Sex: Male
Picture:
Color: Red, even though he can change color to camoflauge.
Eye color: Black, turns amber when mad and blue when sad.
Stone:
(regular stone : Granite)
(gemstone: Zircon)
Flower: Anthurium
Symbol: Fire that resembles this symbol
Element: All, but he hasn't learned any of them yet.
Personality:
Lig is a bit of a clumsy youngling. It's easy to see why, he's a young dragon and can't get used to his claws. But he's more determined than most, pushing himself to the limit a lot. The personality of a dragon is loyal and brave, something that he shows as well. Lig likes to invent and design. His best inventions are the so called direction rocks, which is actually just normal black granite that he flips up in the air and follows their points. A creative one, he respects people but doesn't care about what they call him. A lizard is his nickname after all. But the word shorty sets him off.....which doesn't bode well. There are some peculiar things that he does, but I want you to figure that out for yourself.
History:
The Wives of Kinpaku: King of somewhere
In what words can we describe Lig's father? Howabout, kind, mercifull and powerfull? But greedy....yes greedy. He was a man of money. And when he took over his dad's place into the kingdom, he struck the people as a two faced man. When he helped a woman who was also a millionaire, he made her pay taxes. When he rescued a griffin who needed a place to stay, he made him give up his gold bracelet from his deceased brethren. Although he made it look as if he was being kind, he was actually robbing the town. As a youngster it was give me this give me that and nobody could refuse the king! Kinpaku loved his greed, and spent much time flashing about in it. He flaunted his silver and gold about, laughing and laughing. But it was when he became an adult when he asked something way more than the people could afford.
Kinpaku asked for all the most beautiful dragons in the land. As in all the dragons in his land. The townspeople were astonished that their king would ask for this, they thought all he wanted was riches beyond love. But how could they refuse? At least it wasn't another tax to pay! So the eldest son and his father would venture out of the city and look in the neighboring fields, forests and maggot filled alleys for the most lovelly of female dragons. Before long, 20 lovelly females had been found, and they all marched up into Kinpaku's lair confused, scared, happy, or mad. Kinpaku, now a very handsome red dragon, approached them all and nuzzled them to see their reaction. One tried to slash him and Kinpaku kindly licked her claw back. Some giggled in pleasure and some cried in embarrassment. But one nuzzled back in the same manner as a married couple would, and Kinpaku knew she was the one. Releasing the rest, Kinpaku and the lady dragon (who's name was Mikkoku) married and loved one another without a care in the world for others. As Mikkoku intended.
Greed Conquers the King
It was one day when a messanger appeared to the king and the new queen and commented on the vast gold. The compliments to his collection made Kinpaku smile, but when the messanger began to talk of someday it being his child's Kinpaku growled deeply. He ordered the messanger away and Mikkoku looked to him in silent sorrow. The dragon was very greedy again. And the very thought of a new dragon taking over made him angered beyond most reason. Mikkoku was pregnant, and it was almost time to lay her egg. But she was afraid of how her new husband would handle the news, so she remained silent. She already had a great name if it was a boy.....Faktiskt sounded like a great name. It meant real.
Day after day Kinpaku got more and more afraid of a child taking over. Where would his gold and riches go? No more kingdom life that was for sure! Kinpaku looked to the calendar, trying to remember a happy event. Loving his wife came to mind. Then he realized. It had been 9 months, was Mikkoku...? No it couldn't be he decided. But that thought haunted him, and it only worsened when a messenger came with books on baby dragons. Mikkoku did have a bigger stomach as well....Kinpaku decided to ask his wife one night, and he charged to her room. Opening the door he was shocked to find an egg beside his wife. Mikkoku tried to explain she had been afraid of telling him and Kinpaku shouted threats of everything. The female dragon was fearfull of the stronger dragon and grabbed the egg before fleeing to the forests and flying to a cave. The cave where she lived before.
It wasn't long before Kinpaku found her and proceeded to beat her. He beat her until she was near death. On the floor beside her child she cried out, to try to say her son's name. But all that came out was a wierd sound that sounded like ''Lig...'' before turning to a death rattle which signified her death. Kinpaku realized his mistake and killed hiself to be with the one he loved beyond riches. And as their blood spilt on the cave ground, the egg sat, and remembered the name.
We're the Ones who Made you
The egg was later founded by a golden dragon who had murdered her husband and wanted a child of her own. She grasped the egg into her claw and took off, but many birds came out of nowhere and began harming her. She dropped the egg, and flew away when she heard the crack. The egg didn't crack open yet (since it's a dragon egg) and had landed in a nest of bird eggs, which was the cause of the crack sound. Flopping down, it bounced into an abandoned wolf den, where it began to split open. As it split, a small, almost comical looking lizard flopped out. A lot of dragons look like lizards when young, but this one seemed totally lizard. It looked around and escaped into the forests, where it would live for quite the while.....
Juring the time in the forest, Lig (he somehow decided to give himself that name) learned to camoflauge hiself and develope great senses and a sense of speed. Although his wings had not grown, he had developed a sweet jumping skill from his longer back legs. He became a master at making tools to keep enemies away and was called Lizard by most others because of his lizard looks. He doesn't know of his heritage, but may find out why he has no mom or dad.
