Rain Falls, Evil Dies And The Innocent Cry. (open)

[Night]

The lightning started to light up the sky as the rain fell and the thunder shook the buildings..the innocent who were outside had run as fast as they could to get to there homes where they would be safe from all the monsters that come out at night but like so many nights before there were those that just couldn't make it and the demons that were coming out to play had only one idea for those humans that couldn't hide....they would be the meal for the night..but there was someone in the city that did not fear the demons or monsters and he would save all the innocent souls that couldn't hide from the evil...he would be there weapon against the evil that would hunt and kill them.

Masamune looked down from the tallest building so he could see all the city below and he started to hear the cries he slowly walked around the buildings edge hearing all the different areas and his keen eyesight could see the shadows of demons below chasing after the humans but he was seeing that most of them were getting away but then he saw a guy and girl running down an alleyway and they hit a dead end and behind them was a vampire who had to lesser demons as his cronies...He saw the guy turn back and standing in front of his loving wife willing to give his life to try and save her" You wont have to give up your life for her....because I’m here now....in this evil city with innocent souls."

Masamune casually stepped off the roof of the tallest skyscraper and he started to free fall towards where he saw the humans. As he fell he very slowly pulled out two of his twelve swords and he held one in each hand backhanded he looked to the one who would be his first target and then to the second and finally the vampire he kept gaining speed and once he was close enough to hear the voices of the humans and the monsters who would kill them his eyes started to glow blue and then he did a flip and landed right behind the two demons and not a sound was made he slowly stood up as the rain fell onto his hair the rain rolled down his face and just as one of the demons started to turn he sliced forward with both hands and decapitated both in less than a second and then he looked to the vampire who didn't know he was there.

The woman saw that the demons had been killed and she mouthed for help and Masamune nodded lightly to the woman as he moved behind the vampire he looked to the human male of who was protecting the girl and he brought one finger to his lips for him not so say anything about him being there to which the guy nodded lightly but he made sure to have the vampire think he was nodding at him. The vampire pulled his hand back to strike the guy protecting the girl and when he swung the human was not hit…instead the vampires hand flew through the air and when the vampire was about to yell he stopped as he let out a low growl and then the vampire broke into a whole bunch of peaces and then turned to ash. Masamunes eyes stopped glowing blue as he looked to the to humans and they ran up and started to thank him.” Thank you so much you saved us….we would have been that vampires meal if it wasn’t for you…” Masamune looked to the guy and smiled lightly “ If you have somewhere safe to go I would head there now before more monsters come.” With that the two humans smiled and ran as they went to there house for shelter from the outside world.

When they were gone Masamune spun both his swords and sheathed them at the same time and then he turned to walk down the alley way to leave and standing there was a lone figure and at closer inspection Masa saw that it was a demon in human form and on the demons hip was a single demonic sword and glowed lightly. “ I’ve heard that someone was going around killing all manner of demons and creatures of the night and during night time of all things when we are suppose to rule…” Masa stared and then spoke lightly.” Evil will never rule…not now that I have come…all who are evil will meet there end by my blades and the same goes for you.” The demons smiled lightly as he pulled his sword from its sheath and then there was a voice on the air of which Masa could not make out and then the demon growled lightly as he sheathed his sword again.” it seems I have other business to take care of…your lucky..” Masa shook his head and spoke lightly…” No…you are…” at that Masa took a step and then he was gone as if he were never there and then he ended up appearing on another building looking down over the city continuing to help all that needed it. A new hero has made the city his home and no one even knew that he was already a legend.

[Night]

As Masamune stood at the top of the great building he started to sense the rising of a very large predator from under the earth he looked out towards the very outskirts of the city and then that is when he saw it...A giant wyvern longer then the city its self and wider than most mountains he seen broke from under the ground and it flew into the sky and with a giant roar that shook the city it announced that it had arrived. Masa looked to the creature and saw that thousands of smaller flying demons were following it and even riding it and as he looked to it he could sense something more....the giant demon was more than a mighty long dragon...it was a kind of airship for another demon....one the size of a human but much stronger than all the demons in the aria including the giant flying one. " So another arch demon rises to take its hatred out on the humans....I will not allow this..." he stood there and he waited for when the great beast got closer and that would be when he would make his move.

Erin Meyers once again fingered at the revolver in her jacket pocket as she walked down a street at night. A rather suicidal move for a human in this city... but she would do whatever it took to get the story. She was a young woman in good physical shape and quite pretty, especially when she made an effort. She was a journalist for the local Enquirer and lately, like everyone else in the city, it wanted more stories about him... the dude with the twelve swords. Erin had managed to catch a glimpse of him once and was determined to be the first to get an exclusive interview with him. And the only way to see him was to be in need of saving. Call her crazy... most people who knew her did.
"Come on demons, I'm starting to feel insulted here." She rolled her eyes and sighed, sticking a new piece of gum in her mouth.

Suddenly a giant roar shook the buildings around her and something so enormous it was hard to believe existed blotted out the moonlight. Erin gaped up at the sky in horror. "What in the-?" She had no time to finish her sentence as somesort of flying demon seemed to be spinning down towards her. She drew her gun and fired as a scream filled her throat...

[Night]

Masamune had his eyes closed as he waited for the time to make his move he felt the air and the power from the giant demon and then he heard a scream....He opened his eyes and saw one of the smaller flying demons diving right towards a girl that he has seen before. He saw a flash of memories and saw her get a peak of him as he took down a large demon one night..." Ah the reporter." He took his right hand and reached over his shoulder to one of his blades and then he kicked off the roof of the building and he was gone sailing through the air faster than the eye could see and time slowed...He saw the demon about to hit the girl and he saw her raising her gun to fire but by the rate of speed she was raising her weapon the demon would get to her first and she would be to late. He appeared in front of her and in one fluid motion he pulled his sword from its sheath and made a downward slash and the very air moved with his blade and when he followed though the demon was all of a sudden hit by hundreds of blades created from the very wind around them and he took his sword and spun it as he very quickly sheathed it without even looking to make sure he didn't miss the small hole where the sword went and that alone was a sign of a master.

Masamune said nothing as he started to walk forward and then he stopped as he looked up just in time for the giant flying wyvern to start to pass over head.

Erin recoiled and fell onto her a$$ as someone landed infront of her and took care of the flying demon with a whirl of motion. It's him! She thought excitedly, scrambling through her pockets for her camera. She took a flash photograph of the man's back as she got to her feet and tucked her brown hair behind her ears. "Oh my god that was amazing!" Her excitement faded as her attention was stolen by the enormous thing traveling through the sky above. "What the hell is that?" She spoke aloud...

[Night]

Its a great Wyvern but even more so its a giant flying city for the damned....Within it is an evil that must not be aloud to exist....Thats where i am going...." He looked over his shoulder to her and spoke lightly." Its not safe here for someone like you...you should go home...and wait until the giant demon and all its guardians are gone...." He looked up to the giant demon again and he saw it head towards the biggest building and start to circle it slowly while the other lesser flying demons around it broke off and started to search the city for any signs of life...but more so they were looking for Masamune because they knew he was there and that he would hunt them all if they didn't stop him.

I wonder what that thing wants... Erin shut her mouth when she realised she had been gaping up at the flying monstrosity. She didn't know ziltch about religion but she would bet her month's wages that this creature was just about the defination of the word 'abomination'. She looked to her mysterious saviour's back as he spoke. She understood his meaning, she did feel slightly ridiculous armed only with a handgun.
"Uh... my name is Erin Meyers," She said shakily, not sure where she was taking this. They didn't exactly have much time for chit-chat right now, but she wanted her most urgent question answering before he disapeared. "Wait! Tell me why do you do this? Why are you risking your life to protect this city?"

[Night]

" He looked to her and spoke lightly as he looked back up to the giant flying monster." What are you looking for me to say....that i am a hero of the innocent and i am here to defeat evil....The truth is that i am the embodiment of every innocent soul that has been slain by the sword i am the one who hunts evil and i protect this city because its the right thing to do and the innocent need to be protected....thats why i came here." He pulled out two towards and held them back handed and the two swords were the sword or Air and Death. He then lowered lightly and then he pushed off the ground jumped up so hard that the ground around his feet cracked and the wind picked up sending him to the giant monster and as he flew threw the air he swung his demon sword and killed the flyers left and right and there souls were pulled into the blade adding to its power and strength. He kept flying through the air dashing from side to side making his way closer and closer to the giant Wyvern and finally he made it to the hight that would let him look at it face to face...He floated in the air thanks to his swords power and the mouth of the giant Wyvern opened and he just stayed where he was and all that Erin would see would be the mouth open and close around him and then the giant flying beast continued to fly circles around the building. meanwhile Masamune was now inside the giant beast and he would be fighting his way from its mouth and throughout its body to find the high ranging demon that waited within.

Erin could only watch in stunned terror as the flying gargantuan demon swallowed the warrior and then continued on it's slow circle of the tower. Surely he wasn't dead? Erin shook her head even there was no one around her to witness this. No, he couldn't be dead, not yet. Starting towards her apartment she thought back over what he had told her and already knew how tomorow's front page would read. She would have a perfect view of that building from her balcony and would be sure to record the whole thing when she returned.

She had a feeling she would see the city's mysterious saviour again...

[Night]

When masamune opened his eyes he saw another world in itself within the giant beast he saw what looked to be the city he was just flying over but this city had blood and flesh from the monster growing within and around the city and cars and from holes in the flesh slow moving humanoid looking demons came out and there rib cage was there mouth while there limbs ere all pointed at the end and the demons moving on all fours but even though they were slow they traveled in large groups to make up for that fact. Masa was standing on a large building looking down over all this and then he finally found what he was looking for...He saw a great big hole in the flesh and from it air was coming and going like breathing and he looked around it and saw that it was the most heavily defended." That is were the lungs are and near them will be the heart to this beast." Masa sheathed his sword and then he pulled out a sword that had a black aura to it and then he waved it over himself and shadow came from the blade and covered him and then he slowly started to make his way to the tunnel of flesh and demons.

Erin went back to her apartment building. Kicking off her shoes she called her boss to tell him everything she had learned.
"And where is he now?" Her boss asked and Erin told him where she had seen Masamune disapear. "I want you to go into that building and cover the story from up close and personal for our live TV show special tonight."
"But it's been evacuated." Erin argued. "Even if I wanted to go in there the police are stopping everyone from going inside. Besides, I'm a newpaper journalist. I write, not speak."
Her boss scoffed. "I'll pull a few strings. I can get you inside... just depends if you want this scoop? You'll be well paid." He failed to mention his other field reporters had refused to go any where near that demon for fear of their lives. He knew Erin needed the money more than most and that would be enough to get her to agree.
Erin sighed, fighting within herself then finally agreed. Hanging up she went out onto her balcony and stared across the blocks, watching the creature continue it's slow circle of the building. The wind blew her hair out behind her and ruffled her T-shirt as she dialled the number of the only camera man she knew brave or foolish enough to work on this.
"Declan? Hi, It's Erin... wanna do something crazy tonight?"

Less than an hour later Erin and her young camera man who was barely out of his teens were hurrying up a seemingly endless flight of stairs as they raced towards the top.
"The cops must owe the bossman a pretty big favour." Erin said, panting breathlessly as they went. "They didn't even try to stop us getting in." She wished she had attended more gym classes.
Declan scoffed and grinned boyishly. He was wearing a baseball cap on backwards and seemed to be taking these stairs in his stride. "Nah man." Declan answered her. "It's the police chief... we have some uh... 'stuff' on film of him involving a drag queen and a rubber duck. The boss likes to use it as a bargaining chip to get what he wants."
Erin turned to wrinkle her face at him. "A rubber what? Eeww... gross." She paused and gripped the bannister to get a quick breather.
Declan paused but she waved him on. "Go on ahead. I'll be right there."

A few minutes later Erin entered the top floor of the office building and immediately a strong wind cooled and goosebumped her flesh as she realised all the windows had exploded. The shape of the gargantuan beast flying around outside blotted out everything else behind them. She found Declan gazing at the monstrosity in pure disbelief with his camera held limply in one hand. "Man I always liked those godzilla movies growing up."
Riiight, Erin tucked her hair behind her ears and tried briefly to smarten herself up as she went and stood with her back to the blown out windows and tried to decide if she should smile during the live broadcast or not.
"Okay, we're rolling in one... two... three!" Declan announced, mounting his camera on his shoulder and giving her a thumbs up.
"Good evening, I'm Erin Meyers... as everyone must have noticed we have one big nasty creature flying around our most central tower tonight... could this spell doom for us? Or will the army be able to deal with this new threat as they arrive." Erin frowned as she noticed Declan lowering the camera and gaping at her with terror in his eyes.
"Declan? What--?" She turned and saw a yawning pit of darkness approaching too quick to react to as the beast bit the chunk out of the building they were both in and everything went dark...

Erin scrambled to her feet and groaned at the pain in her head. "What happened? Where the hell am I?" She opened her eyes to find herself in some crazy limbo of a place Dante's inferno would fail to describe. "Declan? Where are you?" She screamed and tears filled her eyes. You're in the sh1t now... She thought to herself and clutched her microphone in trembling fingers...

[Night]

Masmune had made his way close to the cave when he felt a giant gust of air move past him and then he turned to see a great building in front of the monster and he saw its giant maw opening and then when the monster bit down onto the building the shock wave from the impact send him sprawling and then he stabbed his sword into the ground to keep from sliding off the buildings edge and as he looked back he saw new rubble and building now added to the limbo they were in. He picked himself up and looked to the new addition to this hell and then he saw what looked to be movement but it wasn't a demon. he started to jump from one building to another and in not to long of time he managed to get close enough to see a boy messing with a video camera that looked to be smashed to none working order. " Are you alright?" Masa walked up and the boy turned fast having a look of fear on his face and then in only seconds of looking toward Masa the boys face changed to excitement and victory." Oh man!!! its you!!! the slayer of demons!!! Masamune!!!" The boy jumped up and reached into his ocket and pulled out a camera and aimed but there was no hero to be seen." You need to focus...you are in great danger...and we have to get you out of here" Masa was standing behind the kid and the kid lowered his camra as he turned quickly and yelled." Oh man i almost forgot!! Erin came with me....we were both gobbled up by this giant...we need to find her! Erin can you hear me!" Masa took his hand and covered the boys mouth and then he lowered both of them to there knees as he pointed towards a group of demons.." They will be searching the ruins for any food...if you yell they find us...and will have to fight our way out...we need to move and find her without making to much noise..do you understand?" The boy nodded and at that Masa took his hand away and started to move quietly and slowly to find Erin." Come on." With that they both started to search for the girl who may have just gotten too deep into one hellish story.

"Omiegod Omiegod omiegod!" Erin gasped and spluttered as she stumbled about the crumbling building she was in. Reaching the window she gaped out at the strange world that surrounded her. What the hell was this place? She thought she heard Declan shout her name from somewhere and took a deep breath of relief. "I'm here!" She shouted back. "Please come and find me!"
"Found you!" Hissed a serpentine voice as some incredibly skinny creature dressed in a skin-tight black gimp suit hung upside down outside the window and stared at her with huge bugging eyes.
Erin shrieked and recoiled as he reached for her and fell backwards. She watched as he climbed in a spider-like way into the room before turning and running through the building. She could feel the hot breath of her demonic pursuer on the back of her neck. No matter how fast she ran and turned he was always right behind her like some terrible nightmare. Then she realised he was just toying with her, he could have had her at any moment, but the torment he was forcing upon her delighted him.

"Easy peasy pickins" The demon hissed. A sudden fire built up within Erin's core at his words and she growled in her throat. Well screw him! If he was going to kill her she wasn't going out like some defenseless wimp.
"I'm from New York you b@stard!" She shouted angrily. "I'm not easy pickings for nobody!" She turned and threw her microphone at him, but it just bounced harmlessly off his pointed head.
He laughed at her and went in for the kill before the roof above them caved in and a huge demon crashed through the floor and ate the skinny gimp whole.

Erin shoved her hands over her mouth to stop herself screaming as she watched her original pursuer disapear into a razor toothed and bottomless gullet. Then she quickly hid behind some fallen debris. She screwed her eyes shut and trembled with terror as she prayed the huge demon wouldn't find her...

[Night]

Masa was looking around and then as they moved he heard a scream and he turned his head just in time to see a demon enter a buildings window and then he started to run with Declan hurrying behind and as they moved he saw an even bigger shadow on top of the building." We need to move faster!" he turned and threw the boy over his shoulder and then he yelled close your eyes hold your breath and count to 5!" He then took a step and both there body's flickered and the ground where they were was pushed down and it cracked from Masa pushing with all his might and they took off into the air and they were heading towards a window as they moved he saw the large demon break threw the roof and then he saw Erin. He spoke as they sailed through the air..." Whatever you do dont yell....stay absolutely quiet." They finally reached the window where the smaller demon had come in and the moment masa touched down he slid with Declan on his back and they moved right next to Erin and they to were hidden behind the rubble. Masa put Declan down slowly and to both of them he raised one finger to his lips for them to stay silent, If they were lucky the big beast might have thought only the smaller demon was there and hopefully it would leave on its own.

Erin stared at Masa and Declan as they joined her. Her wide eyes burned with a million questions but she dared not utter a word as the larger demon continued to crash about in the room behind them. It seemed convinced someone else was around. Suddenly she heard a deep sniffing noise behind them and those thuddering steps drew closer.

Oh Crap, I think it smells us! She thought in terror, hoping Masa had something up his sleeve to deal with this creature...
