[Puppywolf]

Skylark was alarmed by Ardolf's words and she nodded when he asked her to keep close. Together they stumbled upon... stuff. Skylark wished it wasn't what she thought it was although the strong smell of burnt flesh was enough to give away what happened. Skylark tried hard not to throw up for she had just eaten mind you, so she covered her nose in hopes she wouldn't make a scene herself.

Ardolf found a boy and asked her to help him take him to his cabin, all of which she agreed to and helped him. While all this happened, she didn't know what to make of any of this. This boy must be special, if he was able to produce all that lightning. When they arrived inside the cabin, she undid the covers and covered him up, sitting beside him on the bed and looking over him just as Ardolf had asked. She hoped she wasn't being intruding or rude when she sat on the bed, she just didn't want to get a chair and come back knowing he had woken up or something. She looked at the boy almost motherly like, overlooking her young although it is silly to think of it as such... she felt so... nurse like. Then he began to utter a word... father perhaps and she gently put her hand on his chest so that he wouldn't get up. "H-hey Ardolf, he's trying to to get up!" she shouted, not knowing if she should have called him because it didn't seem as though she awoke rather, was just having a bad dream, perhaps about his father?

[Lady Amira Nuit]

Ardolf put the herb in a pan of water and began to mix it together. He then put in a mint tea bag so it was much easier to swallow. Walking over to a cabnet he got a red mug out. 'This would keep it hot' he thought to himself. As he began to poor it into the mug Skylark yelled that he was waking up. So still slowly not to burn himself, he filled the mug and placed the lid on. Then picking it up he began to walk up the stairs and stood in the door way. The boy was still asleep. Ardolf smiled as he walked it over to the bed side table.

"When he awakes and if he can this is like medicne. It will help him feel strong again but also keep his mind at easy as to where he is that way its easier for us to talk with him."

He looked around and saw no chair in the room. So he walked out and into the next bedroom where their was two chairs. Grabbing one he took it back in the room and sat it down at the side Skylark sat on. "It might be best to sit in this chair. Just incase he pops up, I dont want him to surprise you."

Ardolf had seen many things in this forest. Hell at 145 years of age anyone would. He, himself has popped awake but that was do to the werewolf within him. If this boy had really created all that lighting and killed those two werewolves then he was probably powerful enough to do anything. Another reason why when he awoke he wanted the boy to see Skylark's beautiful face first and not his own. It was a just in case.

"Do you think he needs anything else? How about you? Do you need anything my dear?" Ardolf asked in a very low but concerned tone. Like a father wanting to protect his kids. He would do anything for either of them and he hoped Skylark knew that now. So, he just waited listening and waiting before he disappeared back downstairs. If someone was out to get him then their might be more. He would keep watch to make sure no one else would make a surprise visit. At least not tonight. So he hoped.

[Night]

Rai moved a little ore in his sleep and then while he was out he got the smell of something and he started to hear voices and very slowly he came back to the real world and his eyes very tired and heavy opened and he saw a very pretty girl sitting in front of him and she looked to be around his age or maybe even a little younger or maybe older who knew....and then he turned his head towards the other voice he had heard and saw an older guy standing there and he man looked to be watching over him as well and by the looks of it he had fallen unconscious and has gotten himself into a bed...." great.....I died and went to heaven....and i had so much to look forward to....and i was so young..." He looked to the girl and spoke kindly." But i have to say your missing your halo, wings and harp" He then looked to the guy." And your missing your white toga and book to see if I've been good enough to get into the club that is heaven." He tried to laugh and then he coughed and then he once again attempted to sit up but to no avail...." Man those Werewolves must have beat me good...i can barely move..."

He stopped talking and looked around for the first time and he took in all that he saw and then he sighed and started to talk again" Oh man...i was found and taken to a bed and breakfast and i'm going to have to pay for this room don't i.." He reached slowly into his pants pocket and he pulled out an old Mp3 player and he held it out and then his arm fell back onto the bed." thats all i have....sorry...man i'm dizzy..What happened out there anyway all i remember is that i was running for my life and i reached the center of an open field and then i blacked out and when i woke up...well you know that part don't you..." he smelled again and he smiled lightly." I smell tea....with mint and a herb that will help with healing and get my strength back...." he stopped talking as he looked to the ceiling.

He actually didn't mean to be able to smell every ingredient in the cup it was just part of his training long ago...he was taught to learn every smell and remember it so that he could identify poisons and know if he had a resistance to it or if he had to add a antidote so that he would be okay drinking it. Hes grandfather made him train hard and he made him drink all kinds of poisons and made him push his body to the limit so that he would be the best assassin in the clan...even better than his mother of whom was he best the clan had ever seen.." By the way i'm sorry if i talk a lot i have ADD or something that works like it does....because i cant move to entertain myself i'm talking a lot....sorry.."

[Lady Amira Nuit]

Ardolf was looking towards Skylark as she was about to speak with the young man came too. He walked over to the end of the bed and just let him talk. Without intruption or with a question Ardolf just listened. Then when he apolized for talking to much. Ardolf thought that he was just ranting on as a nervse kid being in a strange place but he would soon learn it was all going to be ok. When the boys words came to a sudden stop Ardolf looked to Skylark and motioned to the tea. He wanted her to hand it to him and possibly help him drink it if he couldnt hold onto the cup.

As she did and he felt a little better Ardolf said, "No need to worry about any form of payment. This is my home. My name is Ardolf and that is Skylark. She to showed up here just hours before you. You're both welcomed to stay as long as you want."

He smiled a father type of smile that said 'I'm glad your safe.' Then he let the boy and Skylark talk. If any person could get a man to open up and talk about anything and everything it was a beautiful woman. The boy took to the girl right off just like he hoped he would. So he walked over to the wall beside the door and leaned against it so he could just listen. If he was up to talking then something would come up that could help Ardolf to help him. Maybe again he needed to go down and keep watch for any other kind of creatures that might come their way. No not yet. He had to remain here and answer any questions that either of them hand. Then and only then he would show Skylark to her room then he would go down and keep watch.

[Puppywolf]

Skylark was attentive, her hand which was gently resting on his chest was raised and taken back as a slow, low lighted blush spread across her cheeks when she realized just how cute the boy seemed in his sleep; sure she had met boys before but it felt different meeting a stranger that was a boy of her age. She hoped she wasn't intruding on the boy by having placed her hand on his chest in the first place, the idea of herself being pretty and soothing wasn't even in her mind. When Ardolf came by with the tea, she nodded and put the tea aside in case she awoke and continued to watch over the boy. Once more, when Ardolf came with a chair, she smiled happy to know she wouldn't startle the boy if he awoke; she was afraid the she would startle the boy rather than the boy startling her. "Thank you Ardolf," She replied, taking her seat on the chair while keeping a watch on the boy. When Ardolf asked if there was anything she wanted, she shook her head with a small smile. "Hm... I think he'll be goo, and I'm quite alright! Thanks anyways though," She responded, returning her gaze to the boy, her mind slipping away into her train of thoughts.

Of course, her train of thoughts began to slow down when she took notice of the boy's movements, and when she saw he was starting to awake once more she got off the train and fully focused on the boy, ready to help him drink the tea if he was ready to and well... hoping for the best really.

When he did wake up, she was surprised to hear him talk as though he were dead and she giggled and blushed lightly when he spoke of her as though she were an angel. She didn't think of herself as an angel... quite the opposite maybe, though not a demon. Skylark sometimes saw herself as some sort of gentle monster in a way, with what having werewolf descendants and having watched their atrocities at such a young age. Angel, herself? That was silly. She ran away, 'borrowed' money from her father, 'borrowed' the Rod di Chandra although it was to be hers later on... was that really how an angel behaved? Either way, she smiled, happy to know that at least the boy thought she was a nice angelic like person.

She continued to listen to him, chuckling lightly to his words for they were funny to her but didn't reply because well... she was a bit shy talking to a stranger. Sure, she wasn't all that shy around other strangers but this stranger was injured on a bed and she was some sort of nurse to him... rather different atmosphere then the usual times she meets a new stranger. Skylark nodded with an understanding smile when he explained why he was talking somewhat fast looked to the tea mug when she saw Ardolf's signal. She waited until Ardolf spoke to speak herself, "I understand. Here, have some tea... Um... My name's Skylark just like Ardolf said, what's yours?" She asked, her hand grabbing a good hold on the tea mug if he wanted any and making a conversation by introducing herself since... well she thought it was rather rude if she didn't; that was how Skylark worked.

[Night]

Rai smiled and looked to the tea and he nodded lightly to her as he looked to it." A drink of tea sounds awesome...." He said as she slowly brought it to him and then as he reached to take it and drink from it he almost dropped it and he let her hold it for him and then he got kinda embarrassed as he looked to her." Could you help me drink some....i hate to ask but it seems that my muscles aren't quite working..." He was given some to drink and he smiled as it felt really nice going down his throat and he sighed lightly. " Thank you very much"
He looked to her and then he heard her question about his name and he had no problem telling them." my name is Rai...Its short for Raiden...meaning trust, lightning and thunder...I was born during a really bad thunder storm...so that why i got this name. "

He looked to the two of them and then he felt he had to ask." So when you found me....was there a whole bunch of destruction and damage in the area?" He wondered if there was because this weird black out that he had wasn't the first time there were other times when he blacked out and it was always when he was in great danger and of course after he blacked out he remembered nothing just before or after the darkness took him.

[Lady Amira Nuit]

Ardolf took that one. He peeled himself for the wall and walked back over to the end of the bed. He kept his arms crossed in front of him. "Yes their was. We heard a loud clashing nose and a bright light. When we went outside the two werewolves that were as you said chasing you were burned to a crisp. No coming back from that. The ground around you was also burnt into a ring with you in the middle. Curious that this has happened to you before and you dont remember. You might have power you are channeling but maybe its only in fear you can. Sometimes when the middle is over louded it does things we dont remember it doing." He paused for a moment looking for the right words, then. "Its like if you got into a bike crash. Your mind goings into another state of mind like auto pilot. Its running for you. So you may remember getting on that bike at your house and driving down the road but it wont remember the crash itself. Then the next thing you remember is you are looking up at lights as you lay on your back with people talking over you as they rush you down a hall in a hospital to save your life. Auto pilot is what save a lot of people. You body keeps you going even if you dont think it is." He hoped it help to explain some. His body got so scared of the werewolves catching him that it took over as auto pilot and blasted the werewolves away. It made him think for a moment before speaking again. "We need to figure out how to channel it without your auto pilot taking over so you can be aware of what is going on so you can it at any time to help you get out of things like that. I have some books down stairs that I can look in later to see if I can help with that but for now do you need anything. I made Skylark and I burgers before you came arond here so I could make you one to if you wish."

[Night]

Rai looked to the guy as he spoke and he listened carefully and took it all in as he thought about the other times he had blacked out and it was as Ardolf said, Whenever he was in great danger just when it looked like he would surly die he would have these black outs and after words he would awake to find that the danger was no more and only he remained. Rai nodded his head in understanding at Ardolfs explanation of what has been going on and then when he heard the talk of him trying to teach him to control it he did a double take." Wait, What? You...mean there might be a way o control whatever....the heck i have inside me?" As he asked that question he stopped as he heard about the hamburgers and he completely forgot about everything else. " What did you just say.....did you just invoke the word....Hamburger....The word of the gods that tell of a food so delicious that heaven its self was not worthy enough to harbor it....Oh good man....from this night on you are a god to me and you.." he looked to Skylark" Are still an angel because...well...you look like one...Anyways!!! Yes!!! i would love to eat all your hamburgers!!...I..i mean..have some...of your delicious hamburgers...

Rai went to get up again and this time he was able to set up without any help and he even hopped out of bed and ran to the door and then he stopped as he looked to his hands in amazement and then he looked to Ardolf. " Wow!! that tea of yours really did the trick...its like a...a super tea or something!" After that he turned and ran out the door and towards the kitchen which ended up being a closet so he turned around and ran the other way and went down stairs and then he found the kitchen. ( Even though Rai thought it was the tea that made him better it was actually his own body that repaired its self due to his fathers blood within him) After Rai got to the Kitchen he yelled back up to the other two." Come on! you two! I'm turning old down here!!" Even though Rai yelled and his actions would seem as though he were being rude it was just because of his ADD and the limitless energy he had within himself...He really is quite a good person and he would give his life to save anyone...as long as it didn't take forever because then he might go do something else due to boredom.

[Puppywolf]

Skylark helped Rai with the tea, unsure whether she should leave it to him or not. She let him take the mug although careful in case he should be unable to hold it; She took it back into her hands when she saw he would dropped it. She smiled, happy to help and knowing well that if she was in the same state she too would feel embarrassed.

She watched everything unfold, wondering what kind of person Rai was. Powers of lighting... sounded quite interested to her. She also began to wonder about Ardolf... being able to help the both of them. What kind of person was Ardolf? Indeed he may as well be a very wise person. She blushed once more when Rai called her an angel but was most surprised by the fact that Rai got up and was quick to make his way to the kitchen. Well... he sure got better so quickly? She looked at Ardolf, unable to believe the quickness in his healing... it was just amazing and astounding to see him with such spirits for... burgers. She laughed, getting up and going to the kitchen as well.

[Lady Amira Nuit]

Ardolf smiled at the boy knowing there was more to him that meets the eye like Ardolf himself. When Skylark got up to follow him down the stairs something caught Ardolf out of the corner of his eye. Out the window he looked on and saw a figure standing just beyond the light just seeing a shadowy figure. Then he saw another figure and then another. Ardolf growled low under his breath. He turned and walked out of the room and down the stairs. He could smell them. Vampires. Why did it have to be vampires and why now? he thought to himself. He had to project them.

In the kitchen now there was no hiding the look of concern on Ardolf face. "We have company and not the good kind. I want you two to wait inside this house. Do not and I repeat do not come outside! You hear me?!" He said mainly pointing his finger at Rai. "I want to keep you two safe. I can handle this. Just remain inside and they can not get to you. They can never get to you unless invited in. Never invite them in. Do you hear me? Never." He turned then and walked over to the front door and began to undress untill he was just in his boxers. He looked to the two and smiled. "I've got this." He then looked to the door and walked out closing it behind him.

As he stood on the front porch the figures he saw came into view. There was about seven of them. One included the leader. He stared Ardolf down but Ardolf did the same back to him.

"Ardolf! Baby. How have you been?" The leader asked smiling as he showed his fangs.

"Get off my land!" Ardolf said in a deep tone channeling his werewolf.

"Easy now wolf boy. No need to go furry on us. We just smelled you two tasty ones inside. Why dont you just hand them over? It would save you an ass kicking."

"Never!"

"Why do you protect them? They are food to us Ardolf!"

"I'm nothing like you!"

"You're a monster just like the rest of us."

"I'm alive and you're dead. I dont see the connection. So get the f*ck off my land!"

Now all the vampires smiled knowing just like their leader promised them. They would get to beat a werewolf down to size. At least thats what they thought would happen.

Ardolf stepped on the first stepped of the porch. They could grab him now and begin to beat him down if they wanted too but they wanted him to change. Ardolf would do just that. He didnt want to look back because he knew they were out the windows watching and he just hoped that they wouldnt get scared of him after this. He wasnt ever going to hurt them. All he wanted to do was help and he hoped he showed them enough of that.

So just then Ardolf leaped into the air at them and began to transform into his werewolf form. He went right for the leader and began to bite his arms as he tried to stop him and get him off of him. The other vampires jumped on top of Ardolf and began to claw and bite him to get him off their learder. With Ardolf mighty arms he began to swing them knocking the others off his back but they would just jump right back on his back and kept on figthing him. He just hoped that the kids would not come out to help him. He had this so he can do it.

[Night]

Rai listened to the guy and he tried to talk back and then he saw that the guy got undressed and he tilted his head and he spoke out loud to himself and to skylark." Why the hell is he stripping down?.." he watched Ardolf go outside and he heard about there being vampires and he huffed lightly as he went to a window and then when he saw Ardolf jump and transform into a werewolf his eyes got wide." The hell!!!Hes a werewolf!?!? I didn't see that coming....well at least hes a nice werewolf." He watched the fight and as he watched it he without meaning too started to rate it and give commentary" The wolf man jumps and dodges an attack from the rear and then proceeds to rip the arms off one of the henchmen! Ohh!!! thats gotta hurt!!"

As the fight went on Rai yelled out the window to Ardolf hoping that he could talk while in his beast form." Can i jump in now!!!" He was getting really bored and if the fight didn't end soon he would have no choice but to jump in with or without the permission of Ardolf."

[Puppywolf]

While going downstairs, she saw that her Rod di Chandra was pulsing a strong bright light... trouble. Strong trouble. Skylark didn't know if she should be alarmed but she went on with Rai nonetheless, knowing it would be safer to be with the one with lots of unknown power than to be by herself or something. She waited in the kitchen for Ardolf with Rai and when Ardolf arrived she was shocked to see him strip down to his boxers... She turned and looked the other way, knowing well he was a werewolf by now, there was no doubt about it. She chuckled a bit when Rai blurted out his words, and made her way to the window to watch along with Rai. She watched the power of a werewolf, her descendants... it looked powerful. She looked at herself and her clothes, turning red when she realized... if she were a werewolf, would she need to strip down as well when transforming? She turned to the fight, trying not to think about it much. If she found the whereabouts of her real mother, would she try to change her into a werewolf, or would she let her be? Her train of thoughts came to an end when she realized Ardolf had finally transformed. She lightly laughed when Rai began to narrate the fight, but was quick to take steps back when he said if he could jump into the fight. Her heart pounded against her chest, scared for her life because well let's face it... all she has was a rod and she didn't want to be vampire food. She walked to her rod and took it, along with Elliot and placed him in his usual place, her hand hand gripping unto her rod. She sat there, wondering how much longer this would all take... it felt like forever. She knew that if the vampires were to make their way towards her, her rod would blind them with a flash of her rod's sunlight but where she could run off to she didn't know. She finally got up after realizing she had been over thinking everything and made her way beside Rai where she hoped Ardolf was doing his best to keep the vampire menace away.

[Lady Amira Nuit]

Ardolf swung his large arm hitting a vampire under its chin making its lower jaw and teeth jam up into its upper mouth. It began to scream as it took off. Three left now and one being the leader. He faced Ardolf with the other two on either side of him. When he heard Rai shout he shouted back, "Dont you dare. These monsters can not enter the house but they can do other things to try and get you out. I need you to remain in there to protect Skylark. That's an order!" The two vampires on either side of him jumped on his arms biting and scratching him to keep his attention from the leader. But Ardolf attention was on him because he knew that is where the main blow would come from. When the leader vampire began to jump Ardolf went flying down on his back and with his powerful legs he kicked the leader vampire in the chest sending him into the air. Then the two vampires on either sideo of him be picked them up and clashed them together in front of him. They began to run off. The leader vampire however hit a tree breaking it. He landed on the ground on the side of the house. The two kids inside would have to look out the kitchen sliding door to see what was to come next.

Ardolf remained in his werewolf form. Walking towards the vampire as it pleased for its life, Ardolf stood above it with his mouth open showing its large werewolf teeth making the vampire cry like a little girl.

"Please," the vampire said now moving so it was on its knees lookin up at him, "Please, I will just leave. I wont bother you again. I swear."

Ardolf took him by the throat picking him up off the ground. "We both know you lying. I need to send a message. Stay off my land. These kids are off limits."

"I totally again," The vampire pushed out, "Please."

But Ardolf pulled him in close and with his other hand he snapped the vampires neck turning him into dusk. Ardolf looked towards the window. Knowing that his boxers ripped when he transformed he thought about his robe in the up stairs bathroom. "Everything is ok now. You can come out if you wish. Skylark my dear. The bathroom up the stairs and to the left their is a robe on the back of the door. Can you get it for me?"

He knew they might have questions but at least it was all out in the open now. Though he hated he had to tell them this way at least it was easier to get out. "Oh and Skylark the first aid kit is also on my bed. Can you get that for me too? Its the black bag sitting there." He would need Rai help him get the kitchen table but he needed the robe to be ready to place on him before he transformed out of his state. His wounds were a little deep from the vampire fangs. If he was in human form it would have been deeper but sense they had to bite threw fur it wasnt as deep. Ardolf sat on the steps of the small little porch awaiting for Skylark to bring the things he had asked for. With Rai sitting beside him.

[Night]

As Rai sat next to Ardolf while Skylark did the little shore he asked of her Rai started to think about things and then he figured he couldn't really think of anything worth saying and he didn't really care that the man was a werewolf so he just said the first thing that came to mind." So....a werewolf huh.....Thats pretty cool...." He smiled to Ardolf as he waited for skylark and then he after a little while was actually able to think of something worth asking and due to his forgetting the company he was in he almost acted as though he were in school or something. " Oh Oh! i Got one! I have a question! How long have you been a werewolf?" When he asked that question he looked to the guy and waited patiently for an answer and seeing as there was nothing else to do at the moment he figured he could just drill the nice man with meaningless questions....hell it killed time in the past so hopefully it would work now...but then again the last time he was put in danger was because he kept asking stupid questions to a attractive female vampire he met and even though the Vampire Vixen thought it was cute....Her boy friend of whom of course was a vampire as well did not like it one bit.

[Puppywolf]

Skylark watched the fight unfold, scared for Ardolf and half scared for her life should Rai jump in and she be left alone. Before she knew it, Ardolf and the vampire leader took the fight somewhere else and she walked to the kitchen window to see the rest of the fight although she wished that perhaps she didn't... iehter way she was happy to know Ardolf was doing good but noticed that he was all fur and no clothes... Immediately she heard him ask of her a favor and she quickly nodded in acceptance, going upstars and turning to the... right, right? No... wrong turn. Maybe he meant left? Yeah, he said left, how silly of her. She turned left and saw the robe, the first part of the mission finished. Now what was that other thing? Something about a first aid kit? Skylark turned back, and went around the second floor trying to find his room and when she found she, she quickly took the black bag on the bed and walked downstairs towards the door where after opening it she found Rai and Ardolf. "Sorry I took so long," she said, holding out the robe while her other hand held out the first aid kit.
