Ardolf sighed. He looked at Nikolai. "Greek was the leader of the werewolf army. I was his right hand and a week before our huge battle between us and the vampire army he and I tried to reason with the leader of the vampires. She was breath taking. Greek was just takin back by her beauty but we had a job to do. After they refused to step down we left and Greek wasn't the same. He felt off to me. So the night of the battle we fought and we won but when looking around I did not see my old friend nor did I see the vampire leader so I ran to find him. When I did he was in this odd city that appeared out of no where. He was on the steps of a church crying. I was happy to see him but also angry. because he disappeared. But then a nurse came through the doors and Greeks mood change with a blink of an eye. I was surprised but then they ran and I followed. The female vampire was holding a baby and that's when they told me they story that she wasn't thevampire leader and they were in love and had to hide from him and well then I got to hold little baby Amira in my arms.
"Nothing matter after that but then shortly after the evil vampire leader some how broke into Haven and we were on the run. Greek and Amy stopped and fought. I disappeared with Amira. That was it until three years later when a black armed knight showed up trying to take Amira away but Peanut who is an angel showed up making it disappeared without a fight and took Amira away. Those creatures are like zombies. They wont ever stop until they are killed or their goal is reached. But they thing just took off. Peanut must have did that so I would give Amira up without a fight. He tricked me into thinking she wasn't safe with me but she was. They just wanted to begin her training.." he sat up in a daze. "That son of a b*tch! I can't believe he did that. Amira was safe with me." He then began to cry. It was a lie. Amira could have stayed with him. Could have had a father figure like Greek was but they took that from both of them. Those basters. "I'll make them pay." He was in rage now wanting to take them apart. Not thinking straight anymore he just wanted to go to Red Blood and take them down. He began to get off the bed. "Time to kick their a$$es," he said heading for the bedroom door.

Nikolai listened and by the end had a hard time distinguishing between his anger and Ardolf's anger. When Ardolf said they were going to kick their asses, Nikolai heartily agreed with a growl of approval down in his throat.
He walked out of the bedroom with Ardolf and walked out of the house. He walked to his car and connected his phone via bluetooth to the it. He pushed the button on the wheel and it went through a series of menus. Eventually he said "Call Derak."
The car system then said "Call Derak Halfhand. At work, at home, or at cell?"
"Cell.", Nikolai said back.
"Calling Derak Halfhand at cell." The phone rang several times. Then picked up. "Derak speaking."
"Derak, it's Niko. Where are you?"
"I'm in the City of the Damned. I'll be packing up soon."
"City of the Damned? What the hell are you doing there?"
"Long story short, I got brought here against my will. I think I'll be heading towards Red Blood soon."
"Oh, perfect. We'll be headed there soon!"
They exchanged good byes and Nikolai got out of the car with his phone and went back inside.
"Good news. Some heavy firepower will be meeting us in Red Blood. My partner, Derak, has some pretty heavy stuff." Nikolai figured Ardolf had brought the ladies up to speed.
(I love it when story lines come together. We may want to make a new thread in the Red Blood City when we get there.)

(OOC: And when done in this thread we will.)
Ardolf went back to the kitchen. He sighed and walked over to Grace. Leaning down he hugged her. She stood still in his embrace and hugged back. Then they pulled away and everything Ardolf told Nikolai he told them. The girls just listened with no questions or comments until he was done. He then added, "The moment I saw him crying on that church steps I knew he had done something that would upset his world. He didn't die though because of you though. He loved his family and he was going to fight to say it but they were to strong. No one can face 8 of those knights and live. They are pure evil with no emotions or regects. Just the way Vandock likes it. That's the vampire leaders name by the way."
Grace looked to Ariel and all she could do was smile softly back at the girl. Then Grace looked back at Ardolf. "I want to meet Amira. I still need to know who she is."
Ardolf sighed. "If you must I must respect that. Just know Amira might be a little more in raged with this news. My is more towards the other two."
Ariel stood and walked over to Ardolf. "It seems Peanut and Hawk must explain themselves to everyone my love. You must give them that chance." She turned to Grace. "Maybe he can get them alone and they can talk this out before you and Amira meet."
Grace thought for a moment. "Maybe." A pleading look was in Ardolfs eyes and she sighed. "Fine. Just don't take long to do so."
"Good," Ariel said smiling, "I still have an apartment in Red Blood. We can go their then Ardolf can go and talk with them with Nikolai to talk calmly. Then you can decide where to go from their."
"Sounds ok..." Ardolf said still hoping to kick their butts. Ariel kissed him on the cheek that broke him out of his thoughts then they kissed each other on the lips. He then pulled back and looked at Grace who still seemed unhappy. "Are you ok?"
"I just...yes." she said heading out the kitchen, past Nikolai and onto the pouch. She saw the pouch swing and sat.
Ardolf was about to go after her but Ariel stopped him. "She needs a little time to get her head around all this. Just wait and be passiate. She'll come around then maybe tomorrow we can head out but we must at her pace, ok?"
Ardolf smiled at her. "Ok."
"Good."
Ardolf kissed her hard then pulled back looking into her eyes. "I love you."
"I love you too."

Nikolai watched as Grace left the room. He slowly followed her and came in as she sat down. "Hey." He sat next to her.
He sat there for a few moments. He pulled off his duster and set it on a near by side table. He reached out to Grace and pushed a lock of her hair back behind her ear. "What's wrong? Well, besides the obvious." He looked back towards the main room with Ardolf and Ariel in it. "He can be a bit...um...energetic. And forceful." He looked back at Grace.

Grace sighed. "I wanted to met my sister more then anything in the world. Now, I'm not so sure." She looked to Nikolai with watery eyes. "He was put through hell. So was Amira and I feel i'll add to they pain. I don't want to cause anymore pain Nikolai. Their has been enough of that." She looked down at the floor. "Maybe we should just forget this whole thing."
.......
Ariel sighed as she watched Grace leave. Ardolf was not helping with his rage. She had to calm him. "Ardolf my love. You must calm yourself. Grace needs you and you need her. She is your chance to make everything right with them and yourself. Don't be a jackass Ardolf. Treat her like you would Amira. After all she is probably your god daughter too."
With that statement Ardolf froze. He then closed his eyes as tight as they would go then opened them again and looked out the window at her. "Your right. I'm so stupid."
"Not stupid. Just on a different chapter but now we're all caught up its time to make it right between you two."
"What should I say?" Ardolf asked.
" You know what to say my love. It is always best spoken by the heart."
"You're so wonderful."
She kissed his cheek. "I know." And she pushed him to go talk to Grace.
He stood hiding at the door and waited for the right moment sense Nikolai was speaking with her first. He didn't want to interior their moment.

Nikolai felt Ardolf's approach and knew what he was going to do. "Well, maybe you'll feel differently when Ardolf talks to you, hon." He got up, opened the door and left, giving Ardolf a look that told him to be careful and don't do anything he wouldn't do. "She's all yours, good man." He continued out to the kitchen and sat down across the table from Ariel. "If I had known this was going to be such a big deal, I would have planed it a bit better....", he said simply. (Short post is short. )

Ardolf rubbed the back of his head. "Uh, thanks." He then stepped out onto the porch and walked to the steps leaning against the pole. Looking out into the forest before him he let out a low but steady breath "I'm sorry Grace. I haven't been fair to you. Not once of thinking about your feeling on this. Putting me before everyone else. It was selfish and for that I'm sorry."
Grace wiped away a tear. "All I've ever wanted was to meet the family I never knew. To beable to lean and grow as a woman I know I should be but in order to I need to take control. I know nothing of the beast inside me Ardolf. I need help with it."
"I could and I will but first things first and for you to meet Amira."
Grace stood then and walked over to him. Having him turn towards her they hugged and stood that way for several moments. Then she pulled back. "Thank you," she wished.
"You're most welcome little one." He kissed her forehead and then they walked back inside.
......
Ariel watched Nikolai walk back in and said to his comment. "You couldn't have known his reaction Nikolai. Not even I could of. This wasn't something that had to be planned out. He took the punches and I think he's past it. What we need to plan for is Amira's reaction and to make sure Ardolf doesn't kill Peanut or Hawk. That is the goal now." She took his hands in hers. "We can help make this easy for them if you don't mind staying to help out." She was looking at him with hope in her eyes waiting for his answer before they'd walk in.

"Oh, I don't plan to leave her side. So, yeah. Our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor and all that." He grinned. "I'm sure Ardolf has told you all about my...talents. Well, if he has, then you know what a big deal touching someone is. And not just touching, but skin to skin contact." He sat still for a moment.
"This scares the crap out of me. We touched, Grace and I. But something happened. I didn't tell her, cause I didn't want to freak her out. But she experienced everything I have done with my life. Just as I did. It's only supposed to be one way. I've done it a total of eight times. Not including Grace. And she felt my life as I felt hers. It scares the crap out of me that that happened. I don't know what it means."
He fell silent and hoped Ariel could give some sort of light on the subject before they returned.

Ariel smiled softly at him. "I've been on many travels and I've been through so much hell that I have blocked out my mind from the world. Id be surprised if you could see anything of my past." Her smile changed into a soft frown for a moment then she replaced the smile again removing her hands from his. "And about you and Grace. Well sounds like a sign of something. She is powerful even though she doesn't know it yet." She chuckles. "But, she is special being Greeks daughter even being half blood and who knows about her mother." She stood and headed to the fridge. Opening it she asked, "What's for dinner?"
......
As they walked back inside her took her hand and walked up the sets to his room. He closed the door behind them. Walking to his side of the bed he opened the bottom draw on his night stand and took out a photo album. He opened it and looked at her. "This is a book of your father and his wife and of Amira and me and a few others. I want to explain but I feel the need to explain to the other to too. Their is still so much untold."
Grace sat down beside him. "I'm sure we have time Ardolf but its up to you."
He looked down at the picture on the first page and sighed. "Maybe its time the past becomes alive."

Nikolai quirked an eyebrow. "Is that a request?", he said simply. "Because you might want to be careful saying such things with me nearby...."
He gave a wickedly boyish grin. "You know me. Going where no one had gone before and all that jazz." He stopped. "Great. Now I have a song stuck in my head."

Ariel turned and grinned. "Oh, I love that movie. I'm so surprised with what humans can come up with story wise. Movies and tv shows are wonderful." She then turned back around and saw some steaks. Pulling them out she turned and smiled at him. "How about some steaks? And all that jazz." She sang and began to dance around a little then stop with her face blushing a bright red. "Sorry." She giggled and turned from him opening the package of meat.
.....
Ardolf stopped. "No," he whispered as he walked back to the bed and flopped down on it. "I can't Grace. I'm just so scared. The past has been dead and gone for so long.. I..I just can't. I'm sorry."
Grace walked over and sat down beside him. "Please Ardolf you must."
"I just need a little more time, ok?"
Grace layed back beside him and looked up at the ceiling with him. Taking his hand in hers she said, "Just a little more but then we'll need to go downstairs because now I'm smelling meat."
Ardolf grinned. "You got it." So they just layed there from a few more minutes just enjoying each others company.

Nikolai's mouth started watering when he smelled the meat. And it wasn't even cooking yet.
"Evil woman. That is totally dirty pool.", he said, glaring jokingly at Ariel. "So...I can make some Smashed Cauliflower. It's an old family recipe. Or I could make some green beans and bacon. Doesn't matter, but I can totally help. Or we can just have some meat." He smiled. "I've done that a few times during my childhood."

Ariel then pulled out a big catfish from the fridge. "If you wish to help then get that cute butt over here." She pulled out a huge knife from its place on the counter and walked back over to the fish and began to cut. "Meow." She said cutting into it and smelling the wonderful fishy smell. "I love fish so much." She turned and looked at him. "Do you like fish?"
............
Adolf let out a low sigh. He gripped Graces hand a little tighter. "Thank you," he whispered.
"For what?" She asked.
"For understanding an old fool like me."
"No need."
"Its just this, well you changes things again." He sat up then. "I don't want to lose her again."
Grace sat up beside him. "Lose who? Amira? Why would you lose her and again?"
Adolf turned to her. "After her parents were murdered I took Amira away and hid her. Three years had past and I felt we were safe but her guardian angel and another werewolf showed up and now I've learned they tricked me into giving them to her. I was never aloud to make contact with her until just a few years ago. I saved her and told her the truth of her past and who I was. She broke down. None of us had ever seen her like that. "See she is called the Chosen One because she was hand picked to bring peace between two worlds are she is half werewolf and half vampire."I
Graces eyes grew wide. "What?"
"Yes, she is very rare. I think the only one of her kind and so that's why they took her. I could not train her the way they wanted her to be trained. I didnt care of I didn't want her to be used as a weapon. I wanted her to be normal but sadly she wasn't given a choice. She was bore as the chosen one and nothing could ever change that. Anyway, so now you know more."I
"Wow, I feel there is still more."
"There is."
"Well we have a little more time before their done with dinner so just keep talking godfather." She said grinning.
He smiled back as they both laid back on the bed holding hands and looking up at the ceiling as he talked and she listened.

Niko smiles. "Woof." His smile turns to a grin. "I prefer redder meats, but fish is good too. Just 'cause I was raised by werewolves doesn't mean I am one!"
He sniffed the air, scenting the fish. "I suggest some cilantro. It goes well with most fish. Fresh would be best." He took a quick gaze around the kitchen.
He opens a cabinet and pulls out a pot, without having to ask where it is, or try several doors. He sets it in the sink, and fills it about an eighth full of water. Pulling a steamer top for the pot out, he gets the water on the stove and boiling.
"The cauliflower takes awhile to get soft enough to mash it, so I'll start it now." He dives into the fridge and pulls out two heads of fresh cauliflower. "Perfect. Cauliflower, despite being more closely related to broccoli, is a perfect substitute for potatoes, especially mashed."
The water comes to a boil and Niko puts the steamer section in and sets the recently broken down cauliflower in it. He grabs a lid from another cabinet, again without searching or asking where to find it. He sets it on and looks at his watch.
"Okay. That is going."

Ariel grinned at Nikolai. "Well, fish is very important and please you just cook your meat and I'll prepare the fish, ok? I'm awesome like that bucko." She said batting het eyes and doing a cat like walk. Old habits and that short of thing.
As she began to fry the fish in a limon seasoning as looked towards him and said, "So Nikolai, what's your story? I mean I know what Adolf has told me but I don't think I know it all." She began to purr. "So do tell."
..........
Ardolf sighed. "I think the rest should be explained down stairs in front of them too."
"Whatever you want."
They sat up and hugged.
"Just a few more minutes then we head downstairs, ok."
"Ok," she said as they lay back down.
