Alide jumped back in a flash more startled then anything, as she heard the girls words she gathered Allen up to her and and turned walking out the front door, and left up a soft cooing note that was almost like the flick of a lullaby, not a few seconds latter Freefall followed by little Humperdink pounded his way toward her, she patted him and he dropped down beside her and allowed her to use him as a chair. She sat and waited for Elisabeth to calm and come speak to her.

(I hadn't thought of that, but it could be, I suppose.)
"I have a small idea, but not much of one besides one who resides in that house."
She turned her horse back the way she came and looked over her shoulder.
"I assume you would not need a ride, Master Dragon.", she said with a smile. "I must be on my way. I have a charge to protect."
Then, with a flip of her braided hair, she dashed off, her horse kicking up a fresh plow of dirt.

Arinus turned away as the horse charged through the forest and back to the house. He knelt beside the Foulbeast, remembering the hordes and armies of the evil creatures swarming over his own Earth. Extending his senses out for miles, he could sense the footsteps of three more Foulbeast within five miles. Eyes narrowing, he raised both hands.
In the distance, the ground engulfed one of the Foulbeasts, crushing the life out of it. The second followed suit, but the third managed to avoid the initial plume of dirt and rock. With a grinding sound, Arinus melded through the earth, emerging some distance behind the Foulbeast. He gave chase, not realizing where he was until his feet hit pavement. The Foulbeast had entered the town.
Growling, Arinus sprinted faster, wanting to catch the monster before it caused to much trouble. But this particular Foulbeast was an Alpha; a leader of the pack.
A van pulled out right in front of the Foulbeast, and the driver slammed on the brakes as he saw the large creature. barreling toward him. The Alpha didn't even pause; it roared, headbutting the van. The vehicle was propelled across the street, crashing into a small store.
Arinus grimaced, looking back at the crumpled van for a split-second. When his head turned back around, the Alpha had vanished. He skidded to a halt, asphalt spraying from under his feet like drops of water.
"Where are you now, little beasty-beast?" Arinus muttered, slowly turning on the spot.

Trying to take in all the crazy goings on at once was a bit of a task, he could tell Elizabeth was having the same trouble absorbing what was going on as well. He was by her side in a heartbeat as she began to drop to her knees. He kept her from falling by putting his arm around her shoulders. Dressed in just his jeans he pulled the woman close against his bared chest, His eyes stayed on the other woman and her small boy as he whispered reassurances to Elizabeth. "Everything will be okay... just as soon as we all calm the f**k down." He helped Elizabeth into a chair and stood beside her. He was content to let Elizabeth do the talking, it was her house and she had already proved to be a capable woman. He just folded his arms and waited to see what happened, if Elizabeth wished them to leave her house, supernatural or not he would grab them by the scruff of their collars and throw them out...

Matt sat infront of the TV with a half grin on his face as he watched Jerry Springer's security jump in the way of two female 'guests' b1tch fight. The conversation was lost in a variety of bleeping noises as the show filtered out the swearing. Matt grunted out a short laugh as he took another sip of his Bud and relaxed back in the chair with his feet apart. His plan had been to go straight home but he couldn't really be bothered to go yet and decided he would help himself to a bottle of beer from the shop instead. At one point he thought he heard a crash outside in the street at one of the stores a way down the road... but he could have been mistaken.
Matt didn't notice the shadowy figure's presence until it suddenly spoke to him. "Sweet jesus f**k!" He gasped, choking on his drink and spilling it on himself as he leapt to his feet. "Who the f**k are---?" He heard the man's words and continued to stare wide-eyed at the man's silhouette as he grasped the concept of what he was saying. He was being offered what he had been obsessing about for years...
"Maybe it's what I want." He answered, relaxing his expression and trying to act cool despite the front of his jeans being drenched with spilt beer. He continued to peer into the shadows suspiciously. "What are you, like a twisted fairy godmother? Come into the light so I can see you... then we'll talk."

Elizabeth looked up as the two left her home. Garrett helped her to the couch. Both sat in silence as she let out a long deep breath after a few moments slowly past. She turned to him. "I never knew nothing of my family. Miss Sally in town is my family. She saved my life from this horrible man who would..." She let her words dirfted off as she turned away from him as she barried her face in her hands. "The man would force me to do things to him. He would let his friends do things to me as long as they paid him. I was in hell. Then the man's son came into my room one night. He calmed into my bed and got close to me. I fought him and got up. His father was awake and beat him for trying to do anything to me. He didn't want his son to get me pregnant or to damage me before their big party night in town. The next day his son had daggers for me. He wanted me more then ever after that sense he couldn't have me. He wanted to know what his father found so fasinating about me but he never got that chance too. That night was the big party in town. We went to the local saloon where Miss Sally who owns it played a game of cards to win me against the monster. She won. Not sure how because he is unbeatable but she did. He was made with range that he lost me. Not long after that he died. His son well both his boys work in town still. I try to stay away from him as much as I can. No one thinks any different about the hell I went through. That's why Miss Sally wanted me to have a place outside of town. See it wasn't my first but it was my first with such a wonderful and gentle man. I thank you for that. I have such a horrible past that the thought of family just horrifies me. I know he still holds a grug against what happened. I can feel him sometimes standing outside my house just awaiting for the right moment. My dogs would tare him a new one if he stepped into this yard but it still wouldn't stop him."
She paused as she looked back at him. "I know I need to talk to her. If you could please I think I have calmed down enough I am ready too. Please go find her and I will explain more." She kissed his cheek as she stood and walked up the stairs. Max looked at him as he then turned and headed up after her. She closed to door to make herself look better then before so it would be easier to face her so called sister once again...
......................
The figure did as the boy asked and stepped into the light. Though he wore black robes as his hood was up covering his face he slowly moved his hands up and lowered it. Smiling at the boy the he said, "Well?" The man was a demon. A blue face with a flat nose and razor sharp teeth. His finger nails were long and sharp too. He looked like something from a horror movie but he could tell the boy was not afraid. As the demon spoke his tone was deep and low. "Let skip all how do's, ok? I am sick and tired of this little b!tch not getting what is coming to her and I have seen you are just the man to do that. I want you to show her what a man truly is. Your father owned her and she would of been past to you so she is rightfully yours Matt. All I am here for it to see you get your justice so yes call me your demon godmother. I ask nothing but for you to make sure she never leaves you and every moment of every day to let her know how worthless she is. I'll do that for you Matt. I will make you powerful too so she can be controlled only by you. She will be yours. That's all I want." He smiled big showing his mouth of razor sharp blazing that lay inside his mouth. He knew the demon had an angle but who cares. He could tell his promises were straight forward. All he had to do was give him the ok.

Garrett nodded to Elizabeth's request. He was still digesting her story and was silently raging over how the girl had been treated. He wanted to take her away from here, far away from this town. If he ever got his hands on the boy she mentioned, he would ring his neck. He watched as she climbed the stairs and disappeared into her room, then turned his eyes back to Alide. "Uh... I'm gonna go look for the other woman then." He went over to a chair where he'd left his pack earlier and pulled out a checked flannel shirt. He put it on over his muscular frame and buttoned it up as he headed over to the door. He didn't have to look far, he heard hoof beats coming up the track and saw the other woman returning from hunting that strange creature. "Hey, Elizabeth is gonna see you guys shortly. Why dontcha all wait in the living room and I'll get us all a beer." He certainly felt like having a drink...
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Matt listened to the demon's words carefully, he had heard they were full of tricks but had never seen one before today. Truth was, despite his hard-a$$ attitude, he was afraid. He felt nothing but revulsion at the sight of such a creature but hid it under his brash forwardness.
"Sounds like you're singin' my tune mister." Matt said. He spat at the ground by his feet, and folded his arms. He stared at the demon as he mulled over his thoughts, his head was a mess of raging emotions about Elizabeth... the little girl his daddy had been so obsessed with. Matt had felt abandoned by his own father with the man's overpowering lust with Elizabeth... then had had to watch the strong, powerful man crumble after he lost her. Matt swore he would not suffer the same fate. Elizabeth was going down.
"Looks like you got a deal." Matt told the demon with a sigh, then set his jaw firmly and squinted like he had seen his father do when making a tough decision. "What happens now?"

Alide stood and walked in Allen following close behind, Freefall stopped at the door and hung his head in, watching as Alide sat down on the edge of the couch still as stone, "Okay, thank you."

Livia rose an eyebrow. "Very well." She dismounted, tied her horse up and stepped into the house and found the living room.
She looked at Alide and nodded to her. "Mistress Alide. I see you are still here. Good to know you'll stick around."
She sat down and crossed her legs, her posture impeccable. Obviously, at some point, she had been someone either rather important or just trained for some reason on posture.

Alide nodded, "I am not much for runn'in, Miss. Livia." She looked over at the door, "Freefall get your head out of here." The massive horse snorted and flung his head flipping his mane as if he where laughing at Alides command.
Allen let out a giggle, "Don't recken he is going to listen mom."
Alide let out a small soft laugh, "Nope i don't recken baby."

Garrett handed a beer to Alide and eyed her huge horse warily as he turned away and handed Livia her bud. He went to lean against a nearby wall and took a long swig of his beer. "Pretty weird when I think about it, I mean I just got here and met Elizabeth late last night myself..." He said suddenly and broke into a half grin, "Poor lady lives alone for years and in one day she has three strangers show up on her doorstep." He took note of the little boy suddenly and motioned towards him with his beer bottle. "Sorry, make that four." He checked his companions out quickly as he took another long sip. He could do worse than end up being stranded in a farmhouse with three gorgeous women...

Livia almost laughed as she thought through what Garrett was saying. Then, she did laugh, her preventative measures having failed, when she picked up on the trail of his final thought.
She smirked, careful to not go too far with her smile, but her willpower was failing for some reason, and she erupted in a wide grin, showing her pointed, and slightly longer than normal canine teeth off. The laugh came unbidden from her lips and suddenly, she was struggling to breath.
While she didn't need to breath, habits were hard to break, not to mention she did need breath to speak and, as was evident now, laugh.
Finally, she got herself under control and her laughs pettered off and died as she wiped her eyes and smiled. "I'm sorry. I don't know what got into me. I just found this whole situation oddly hilarious." She almost went off into another round of laughter, but she brought it under control and marshaled her will.
"Alright. No more laughing. I promise." She almost lost it again, but reined in her willpower and took firm control of the situation. "Alright. We're good.", she said, all seriousness. Her eyes had gone almost completely black, like a cat's when they were on the hunt. All of the iris was dominated and most of the sclera was also consumed in the blackness of her pupils.
Very steady, even breathing came from her. In through the nose, out through the mouth, over and over again. Finally, her pupils shrank, and while they were not back to normal, there was at least a small amount of the iris visible.
"Okay.", she said with a shaky breath. "I'm good. You guys're good. We're all just good." She looked absolutely terrified. "Excuse me." She stood and rapidly departed the room. The door to the outside creaked and closed, then a faint sound of retching came through the window.
Minutes crawled by...then finally, about twenty minutes later, she returned, all composed, radiant beauty. But there was also an edge. An edge of...lethality about her. She sat, just as composed and perfectly postured as before the outbreak of laughter.
She said nothing as she sat and said nothing as they waited.

Elizabeth was in her room just staring at herself in her full length mirror. Sighing she looked over at Max still looking in the mirror as he noticed and began to wag his tale. "How's this?" She said mentioning her clothes. Max gave a happy bark of agreement.
She was wearing a blad checkered long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and brown mountain boots. She pulled back her hair into a pony tale and put a little eye shadow on her eyes, blush on her cheeks, and a little liptick. Having company she wanted to look a little more then she usally did. Not to mention having a new man in her life. She wanted to look good for him too. As she looked at herself in the mirror again she liked what she saw. Hopefully he would too.
Turning she walked over to the bed and sat down and began to pet Max. "Well boy. Are you ready to go back down their and face the music?"
Max made another playful bark as she then stood and walked out and down the stairs into the living room.
"Hello, all," she said as eyes turned towards her. Looking at the woman who claimed to be her sister she walked over to her and sat in the chair next to her. "Well, I am here now. You got my attention first so, I am listening." She felt like looking over a Garrett but a little worried about what he was going to think of the way she was dressed. What if he didn't like it? She felt like changing now. Why? She didn't know. All she knew was that she wanted to look her best for him. She was really starting to like him a lot. Crazy this love thing.
......................................
The demon smiled at him. "Follow me." They walked back out the back door and into the alleyway. He smiled at the boy as 3 of the demons dark figure creatures came floating up towards them. The demon said, "This is Matt. He is my second in command. Just as you listen to me you will listen to him too. Understood?" The figures made no sound but they slowly looked towards the boy and made a slight head nod in agreement to their masters wishes.
The demon looked back towards the boy. "These creatures are of darkness. They can never die as long as their is darkness so make sure if you want to use them there is no light around you. If light appearing they will find darkness but the moment the light is gone they will be at your beck in call."
He waved them away until they were ready for them. He turned back to the boy. "Just remember to say "Creatures of Darknress come alive" and they will come to you. Then give them your orders and without hesitation they will do it. They will kill for you if they must but please do not kill the girl. We want you to torture her. To be your b*tch. That is what we want for you. To be strong and in power. So much power Matt. She will be yours. Just like she was ment to be."
He reached out his hand and touched the boys forehead. It looked like he shocked the boy but he boy didn't fall over. He smiled at the boy. "I just gave you the power of strength so you can hold onto that girl with no issue and crush anyone who can stand your way. Just make sure you only use it to take the girl just remember though that you could hurt people with it and even kill just not her and the dark creatures will help you to with people who get into your way." He paused and then said, "You need to try it out. Go ahead and see if you can rip that tree out of the ground just to see and show you I am telling the truth boy."

"I guess my reason to be here is quite plain and quite simple. I am your Champion, for lack of a better term. Your defender. I am here of my own will, yet not wholly of of my own devising. I have been instructed by some higher power to protect you. And I shall do so until I die my second death."
She bowed in her chair. "Mistress Vampire Livia Drusilla, Third Empress of the late Roman Empire, at your service, madame."

Elizabeth turned her attention to the woman that introduce herself as her protecter. Her eyes grew wide as she said, "Vampire." Like it was a nasty taste in her month. She knew the kind. When she was younger she in countered them when she was with that monster. He used her and in other cases had others pay to use her.
Her rage grew. "If you are really a vampire then you shouldn't beable to come into my home without..." Then it dawned on her. She looked to Garrett. Without knowing who this woman was he let her into her home. He was welcomed into her home and welcomed to stay so it wasn't just hers any longer. He was more then allowed to let someone into the house. She glarred at him then turned back to the woman.
"I don't care who you are or why you are here. I want you out of my house. I want nothing to do with a blood sucker who is put on this world to drink from another living creature and yes I said creatures. You have no right. No right at all!" Her voice was loud and her face was red.
You could cut the tention with a knife.
She turned her back on the woman. Her eyes tightly closed. Suddenly a feeling of pain overwhelmed her but it was new pain. She could feel herself in so much pain that she fell to her knees not knowing she was doing this. Suddenly she saw a face but it was nothing like she had ever seen before. He was a monster. Like a demon smiling down at her enjoying the site of her being in so much pain. It was frighting. She began to scream then suddenly opened her eyes and looked around her of all the other eyes in the room on her. She turned to the woman who was knelt down beside her.
She heard the woman ask her of what she saw and as she began to explain she could hear the shaking in her voice. "I saw a monster's face. A demon maybe? I dont know. I was in so much pain. I...I dont know..."
She suddenly stood and wanted to forget the whole thing. It wasn't real. She was here in her home. It wasn't like she had these flashes often to notice that they do happen later. She didn't believe in that stuff. It wasn't worth it but here were these new people in her home. The dream did come true. Should she tell them that? No she wasn't crazy. She was nomral just like Miss Sally said. It was just a coincedence. That's it. A coincedence.
She walked over a sat down again. Looking back towards the woman who she said was her sister she said, "So time to here your story."

Rage consumed Livia as the words fell from Elizabeth's mouth. She was on the verge of exploding and enlightening the poor child on the actuality of her own - and her followers - practices.
Then the woman fell to her knees. Livia had much practice with visions and the sort. She was instantly by her side. "What do you see? The pain passes with the telling. Come, child. Speak."
Her eyes widened at the description. "My gods. I can think of only one demon capable of such evil and such pain. I dare not even speak it's name." Her spine crawled just thinking of him.
Suddenly, Elizabeth's words had their intended impact. Livia flew out the window with massive force. The head of the house had overridden a previous invitation and denied her entry again, thus she could no longer be within the house.
She picked herself up off the loamy ground and dusted herself off. She wasn't surprised so much as caught off guard by the violent expulsion of her body.
"Well. I guess I'll just have to guard her from outside." She laughed softly at this. She took up a position next to the front door and waited. She pulled out a few orbs from her duster, muttered words of Latin over them and they activated, swiveling around, then they each placed themselves at a door or window large enough to exit buy. Then a final one went to the chimney. Given the advanced magic within them, they would know almost instantly if anyone left the house, even by some other exit than the ones they guarded.
"And now I wait. Hopefully, my duster will hold up for the day.", she said to herself as she looked to the east and the growing glimmer of light on the horizon.
