Vorska stared at the door as Kat exited, arms folded. He waved a hand, and blankets covered Sophia. He stood up, and moled through the wall and into his own quarters. After several minutes of fruitless sorting, Vorska gave up and pushed the piles of asssorted gems, relics, and other objects aside to make a small but usable path to the desk and bed.
As Vorska came on deck, he noticed Kat beside the wheel, hips to the side and knees bent enough to counter a stray waves' slam. He approached silently from behind, startling Kat slightly, but not as much as their first encounter. "Storm coming." Vorska mused, looking off in the distance. "And it's going to be a big one."
Thinking more about the storm and shelter, Vorska realized something. "Uh, Kat, it has just occured to me that you have no cabin of your own. Technically, the room I currently live in should be yours. Um, so...maybe I should sleep on the floor, and you can take the bed. Of course," Vorska added, a smirk growing his lips. "If you would like to share the bed, I wouldn't mind..."

Kat recovered from being startled yet again by Vorska's sudden appearance and re-applied her grip to the wheel. She listened to his words about a storm and nodded in silent agreement. She was nervous about weathering her first storm at sea but hoped it didn't show too much. THe next subject Vorska breached made her blush to the point she had to turn her head away to face out to sea again. She giggled and used her hand to brush aside her fringe as the wind threw it into her eyes. "I wouldn't want to take your bed away from you." She answered. "Though I must admit I'm not looking forward to sleeping on the floor." She sighed and turned to look over her shoulder at him. "We could share IF you promise to behave?"

Vorska smirked, and put a hand on Kats shoulder as he leaned in to whisper, "Oh, don't worry. I'll behave myself quite well." He winked, then glanced at the sky. "Well then, I guess I will see you in...two hours, three minutes, and - hold on - seven seconds." With that, Vorska took his leave to meditate.
Sure enough, two hours, three minutes and one second later, the first fat drop of rain spattered onto Kat's shoulder.

Kat glanced at her shoulder and sighed. Great! She thought to herself distastfully. One of the crew approached her and snapped off a casual salute. "I'll take the wheel Miss Wavesword." "Yes, ofcourse." Kat answered and smiled her thanks. What the man meant to say was 'I'll take the wheel becuase you don't really have a clue what you're doing, do you?' "I guess I'll go below decks, It's been a very long day." Kat said above the rising pitch of the wind. Above her the clouds had darkened menacingly and she could tell this could be a very bad storm indeed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Swaying and stumbling along the corridors below decks, Kat headed towards Vorska's quarters. She clutched at her flat exposed stomach suddenly as she felt bile at the back of her throat. Oh please sweet Jesus don't tell me I'm sea sick?!?! Kat fought to compose herself and hoped the sudden wave of sickness would pass as abruptly as it struck her. Kat reached Vorska's door and quickly brushed loose tendrils of hair behind her ears and straightened her clothes out. With a quick breath she wrapped her knuckles lightly on the door and opened it. "Just me Vorska." She called as she went inside. "I hope you're decent."

Vorska rose swiftly off of his bed, opening the door to see Kat. He smiled mischeviously when he noticed that she was slightly sick. He retrieved a bottle that would stabilize Kats equilibrium, and motioned to the bed. He sat beside Kat, and started speaking. "Sorry about the taste of the stabilizer. It's worth it, though. But, I believe that I promised you a story about how I got my 'supernatural' abilities. Want to hear?"

Kat grimaced in anticipation of the stabilizer's taste as she stared down at the bottle in her hands. She took a quick, deep swig of the noxious liquid. "Blerge!" She shuddered and screwed her face up for a moment. "I hope you're right about this being worth it!" She exclaimed and shook herself. Already she felt a little better and hoped the rest would subside soon. When Vorska offered to tell her more about his tale she nodded. "Sure." It would be good to have something to take her mind off her stomach... and plus she was more than a little curious about how he got his powers.

"Well," Vorska said, leaning back on his hands. "I was once a sneak-thief: no parents, no friends, and I stole food and coins for a living. Then, when I was...twelve or thirteen, I stole this amulet from a mage. I didn't know anything about the man being a caster, or the nature of the amulet. He got some guards coming after me, and one fired. He hit the amulet, and at that moment, I realized that it was a Necklace of Elemental Control. How? Simple. They came to me, the Elements. They took me away, and I was taught control over them. After that, I pretty much straigtened up. Until I met Sophia, that is. Then I loaned my services to her after she saved my life. Nasty buissness with a crime lord in Red Blood. That's pretty much my life in a box. You have a story?"

"Me?" Kat shook her head. "Not much of a story... nothing exciting like yours anyway. Grew up at an orphanage and then ended up leaving with another girl to work at her uncle's tavern. Been there ever since. I bet you must have seen all kinds of places and far away lands on your travels!" Kat stared dreamily into her imagination for a moment before bringing herself back to reality. "Sorry." She giggled softly to herself, slipping a hand over her mouth as she did so. She composed herself and leaned back on the bed. "That mage ever tried coming after you? I imagine he must be pretty mad that a thief managed to obtain what he could not."

"He was in no position to argue." Vorska said, staring into Kat's eyes. "I had the Elements at my control, and they were very much angry with the mage for trapping their energy and using it against their will."
Vorska looked down as he thought. "I could show you what I have seen. All the wonders of this world. No," He said to Kat's unasked question. "I would not bring you physically to those places, but I can show you. Here, let me try it."
Vorska put a hand to the side of Kat's head, brushing her neck and cheek as he did so. Their minds met, and he opened up. Memories, vivid as the day he had experienced them, came pouring out into Kat's mind. Mountains, free-fall, the terrible beauty of the Elements themselves...all of them Kat experienced. In the proccess, Vorska accidentally let slip the memory of his feelings when Kat had first come up on deck, pirate attire on.
Abruptly the flow of memories stopped, and Vorska moved away from Kat slightly. He looked rather embarrased, eyes flicking to and from Kat. "I, uh...wow. I didn't mean to let that particular memory go."

Breathless and zoned out slightly from the powerful rush of visions and experiences, Kat took a moment to bring herself back to reality.
"Wow!" She gasped, then noticed Vorska's embarassment and then realised why. "Wow." She said again and then grinned mischeviously. "So... you think I look like a good pirate then? Thank you Sir for the compliment, you aren't so bad ye self." She laughed and sat up cross legged on the bed. Somehow it felt like a great honor to be counted among all those wonderful memories of such incredible places. She didn't feel that she compared to even the lowliest area she had just been shown, such was her desire for sight-seeing.
Smiling broadly she reached out and took his hands. "Oh don't be embarassed Vorska. I don't mind." She looked up at his eyes and her innocent smile faltered slightly. She felt a sudden wave of desire for this man and felt her breath get caught in her throat. Her own cheeks burned bright when she thought of making those 'noises' with Vorska that was all she knew about what men and woman did when they were alone together.
"Uh... well... thank you very much for showing me all that." She stammered, moving her hands back into her own lap and averting her eyes. "How um... do you want to do it?" She quickly clamped a hand over her mouth when she realised the words that had just come out of it. "Oh my god... I mean, 'do... this'. Sleeping I mean. What's the arrangement?"

Vorska stared at Kat's hands when she had taken his. A small thrill went through his spine, and he was slightly disapointed when she moved them away. He started slightly at her words, and looked quickly up at her face as she blushed and changed what she had meant. He grinned slightly, and jerked his head. "The left side is softer, so you can have that. I, uh, apologize for the size of the bed. I don't usually have company, and smaller is better when one has all the junk I do."
Vorska removed his shirt, revealing a toned but scarred physique. He put his hands on his eyes and turned away to allow Kat some privacy while she changed.

Kat shuffled over onto the left side as Vorska climbed off the bed to remove his shirt. She watched as the lamp light danced on his lean muscled torso and caught her breath as she wondered if he was going to drop his britches. When he turned back towards her she quickly averted her eyes and tried to maintain her innocent look, hoping not to reveal what thoughts were filtering through her mind. He turned his back on her again and covered his eyes to allow her privacy to change. "No peeking buster!" She warned and smiled to herself. "If I see an eye looking at me I'm gouging it out, okay?" She reached into the small pack she had brought down with her and produced a long slip on shirt. She climbed off the other side of the bed and changed with her back to Vorska. She removed her clothes and felt goosebumps rising on her tender flesh. Un-buckling her belt she pushed her trousers done her legs revealing her firm backside, pale and flawless in the fire-light.
Slipping the long shirt on over her naked form she turned to see that Vorska still had his back to her. She crept over to him and reached out to lightly touch one of the scars on his back with her cool fingers. "You must have been in alot of fights." She said, gazing across the map of his torso. His raw manliness made her shiver and she quickly went to the bed and slipped under the covers, keeping to the left.

"Thus goes the life of a pirate." Vorska sighed, feeling the feather-light finger trace a scar, then leave abruptly. Vorska turned to see Kat in a long night shirt, and wolf-whistled. Kat blushed, and he sblack personed at her reddening cheeks. He slid into the bed beside Kat and, noticing her shivering form, reached out to embrace her as he started to channel Fire. He became quite hot, the heat of his body warming the matress and the slim Kat.
Vorska looked into Kat's eyes, and became lost in the complexity and innocence of the young woman. He felt Kat doing the same, boring into his soul. Then her hand came up slowly to Vorska's face, and she seemed to drift ever so slightly closer. Vorska blinked, and put a hand into Kat's silken hair.

Sophia's eyes shot open as she sat up quickly making herself dizzy. Fighting through it she put a hand to her forehead. Sweat ran down her face. 'It tus just a nightmare' she thought. But sadly the nightmares were coming stronger then before and that scared her. Them thought of him made her body ache in fear and panic. Why would she need to face him again. Probably because she left him to die.
The memories of that night came flashing so fast her head began to hurt as her stomach turned in knocks. He had turned on her though. She had every right to do what she did to him and he almost killed their captain. So why did she feel like this?
She suddenly threw them covers off of her. Putting on some other clothes she slipped on her boots and walked out of her quarters. The rain was in a steady fall but she knew how bad it was going to get in a few minutes. She was thinking about going to Vorska quarters to speak with him about them nightmare but he might be asleep and she wished not to awake him. He could sleep through any storm if he wanted to and it wait.
So she headed up top to them helm where she saw Big Brucy. She walked up and stood beside him.
He gave her a single head nod and said, "Captain."
She returned it with a "Big Brucy."
Big Brucy got his game for being the tallest and biggest man on her ship. But to her he was a teddy bear. She adored him and he adored her. The single head nod was their code of talking. They needed nothing more.
The rain began to fall harder and the wind began to blow. The ship began to rock. Lighting danced now around them as them thunder made its presents known. A few of her crew came top side, ready at their posts for her orders. She began to bark them loud enough over them roaring thunder that more of her crew made it to the deck. They were moving like lighting but some slipping and falling from the sea waves crashing the sides and slashing up onto the deck making it almost impossible to stay up right. But, her old crew members did their part well to look after the newbies.
All seemed right when one cabin boy made his way up top. He wished to show how much of a man he was. But one member who was trying to tie down a cannon let go and it rolled. Sophia watched as it hit the young lad and he went over.
Another crew member yelled man over board. Sophia moved fast. She had two crew members take the wheel while she took Big Brucy by the hand and rushed to the side of the boat. She put a rope in his hand and tied the other around her waist and dove in. blasting threw the top of the water she saw the boy just a few feet from her so she swam to him. Grabbing onto him tightly she was letting him know she had him. That all would be fine soon. But little did she know the rope she grabbed had a spot half way that as Big Brucy began to pull them in the spot in the rope broke making them fall back into the murderers water below. Both were sucked underneath the boat and she managed to get them to the other side but began to become tired. All seemed to be lost as they were to far out for them to reach another rope as Big Brucy so desperately tired to throw it to her. Another wave washed over them as it forced them under the water but she refused to let him go.
Blasting threw the top of the water she saw a figure standing beside Big Brucy. It turned to brightness then darkness as another wave washed them back down trying to calm their souls. Oh how she didnt want to die this way. The sea so badly wanted her and this time it seemed to be winning. The darkness seemed to be cold as a face stood over her. A woman. "Ka....t," she whispered then she passed out.

Kat touched his clean shaven face as they lay facing each other on the bed. Her breath began to quicken along with her heart beat as she inched closer to him. She met his gaze and stared back at him with wide, alert eyes. She felt his fingers in her hair as she had never felt so afraid or excited before in all her life. The heat of his body was nothning compared to the burning flame of her desire. She gyrated her hips almost subconciously and squeezed her knees together. She wanted to explore the man's body, until now a completely undiscovered land. She slipped her hand down from his face to his rough and scarred body. She felt the strong muscles of his chest and stomach bunch under her light touch as she went lower. Her fingers travelled to his belt buckle and gripped it. She lustilly wanted to continue her exploration of what lay beneath his trousers. "Make me a woman," She pleaded, her voice barely above a whisper. "Make me a woman, please Vorska." She moved her lips to meet his, holding her breath she was so nervous... then suddenly everything tilted dangerously. THe violent rock of the ship made the bed slide across the floor and brought some of Vorska's items crashing down. Shouts and curses could clearly be heard above the din of the storm. "Oh my god!" Kat cried, quickly leaping out of the bed and pulling her trousers on underneath her night shirt. Her and Vorska rushed to the main deck.
It seemed the captain and a crew member had been thrown overboard somehow and rain and wind assaulted Kat as she clambered up into the open night. "We have to save them!" KAt screamed, the rain matted her shoulder length dark hair and made the shirt stick to her naked upper half, turning it almost trnsparent as it hugged her like a second skin. Kat had no time to be modest. Stood beside big Brucy there was only one thing she could do to help.
Kat ran and dived into the sea after the captain and the crew member. "Sofia! HAng on!" she screamed above the storm as she grabbed the other woman's collar and held her upright in the water. "I've got you!"... she prayed Vorska could get the three of them out of this mess...
