Terri had seen Amira return with a handful of individuals. What they had gotten up to she could not guess but they looked like they had fought a small war and smelt like they had passed through a sewer. Terri struggled to see over shoulders and between the crowd in front of her as the group parted. “Excuse me, sorry, pardon me.” Terri rambled quietly as she squeezed her way through the throng but made it through too late. “Aw shucks.” She sighed in defeat and pouted unhappily. Suddenly, she saw one of the group, not a man she recognised, heading off towards the showers. Though she had never met him in real life, his appearance gave her an icy start. It was the man she had seen in her dreams. Terri had the gift of foresight passed down to her from her grandmother. She saw images from the past, present and future in her dreams -though they were sometimes an obscure and garbled mess- and she had seen this man’s face. The dreams she experienced with him in were not pleasant and were very dark indeed. Should she tell Amira? Or try to find Asim? Though her vampire friend had left a blank hole in her mind when she tried to locate him. Perhaps better to try to speak to the man herself she decided.
Terri waited somewhere near the bar while the man was busy in the showers. When he returned he went to sit down in a comfy chair and seemed to fall asleep. Approaching Saren Nihl slowly, Terri smiled politely and wondered how she was going to play this. ‘Hey there, you’re the man of my dreams! But hey, they are nightmares so something dark is comin’ for ya.’ Terri growled quietly to herself and knelt down beside the man’s chair. He was wearing a jacket that seemed to fit well over his lean frame and jeans. She realised he was quite handsome but her business had nothing to do with idle flirtation.
“Um… hi… my name is Terri I--” She realised Saren was fast asleep or deep in his thoughts and shut her mouth. She knew she shouldn’t pry but her curiosity got the better of her. She reached out with one small hand and rested it gently on his thigh before closing her eyes…
"You had better keep that promise, Professor Nihl. I do not take kindly to failures." Drake Von Cartesian said, voice cold and dangerous.
Saren blinked twice, then took a step back from Cartesian. He turned away from his employer, rushing to his work station.
Terri watched as the harsh man with blonde hair turned on his heel and strode off. Somewhere there came a scream of pain but nobody flinched or even reacted. They are used to the sound sof screams, Terri thought miserably. She didn't want to be here.
Terri approached the man she recognised who was busy at his work station and smiled awkwardly. "I'm so sorry for invading your thoughts like this." She said to the suprised look on his face. This was a mistake to invade his memories, she threatened to send the poor man insane. She glanced briefly at his name card. "Saran Nihl is it? I'm Terri. I must drag you back to reality now. I'm sorry."
Terri opened her eyes and found herself still kneeling beside the seated man, her hand still resting on his thigh. It seemed he was awake as well.
"Mr Nihl I'm terribly sorry for invading your mind like that. I can't find a way to explain this... but I've been... dreaming about you."

Saren twitched as something new, something...wrong appeared. He felt a spike of agony go through his skull as an attractive young woman, barely more than a girl, appeared in the memory, seeming shy and slightly hesitant.
"I'm so sorry for invading your thoughts like this. Saran Nihl is it? I'm Terri. I must drag you back to reality now. I'm sorry."
When Saren's eyes snapped open, he felt his muscles tense--he realized his left hand had fastened around the young woman's neck, choking her. With a massive push of will, he let go. As if on queue, his body slumped forward, muscles finally relaxing.
Saren looked up, staring sorrowfully at the girl. She was on the floor, coughing violently. She was lucky--if he had squeezed even a little harder, he would have snapped her neck like a rotting twig. He hurriedly got out of his seat, then knelt beside the girl. He put a hand on her back and shoulder, then gently lifted her into a sitting position.
"I'm very sorry about that," He said, trying to make his voice sound soothing and friendly. "Are you all right...Terri, was it?"

Terri gasped as she tried to draw breath and gripped at her throat where finger marks had left bruises, her big brown eyes stared accusingly at Saren as he tried to help her. She flinched at his touch when he helped her sit up and shrugged away from his hands.
"I...I'm okay." She said, taking a breath that felt like sand paper rubbing the inside of her throat. She felt her racing pulse begin to slow as she calmed down. "I guess I asked for that." She rasped. "I should not have invaded your thoughts. I am sorry."
His subconcious attack on her left her mind reeling with images of violence and death. Whatever the fates held in store for Saren's future it did not look like a happy one. She stared at him but looked into him rather than at him. Finally she made herself return to reality and reminded herself that what she was doing wasn't just rude, it was extremely unpolite.
Struggling to her feet, Terri pressed a palm against her forehead as a sudden head rush threatened to make her loose her balance. "Whoa." SHe regained her composure and her cheeks flushed with sudden embarassment. Some great ally of the great chosen one she was turning out to be.
"I am alright Mr Nihl. Please forgive me, I just needed to talk to you..."

Saren leaned back, crouched low as Terri shrugged off his hands. His eyes grew cold and dangerous as she stared accusingly at him. He kept silent as she babbled, wondering why she was here in the first place.
"I am alright Mr. Nihl. Please forgive me, I just needed to talk to you..."
"About what?" He inquired, his voice nearly a growl.

Pepper looked to the mirror seeing the faces of the three that placed her in this cage with this monster and thought maybe she was happier to be with this one then that Zero character. Seeing what he did to her "sisters" she wouldn't want to be at the hands of him. At this this one was more into having the girl feeling every inch of him. Not like Zero. He was just in it to hurt, torture and destroy. Still she wished this wasnt even happening. Then the thought had popped in. Sasha knew she was here. How much time had passed? She said within an hour that she would go to The Count. Was she going to do as she asked and do it or was she dump enough to find her? God she hoped she would go to their master.
Then she was forced out of her thoughts by Asim as he grabbed her arm and dragged her over to the mirror. Now facing it she looked toward it knowing they were staring back at her with no doubt smiles on their faces. She then let out a gasp of surprise and pain as Asim slapped her ass. It hurt to the point she tighted her frame. He repeated it again and it was a little harder then before. She let a tear escape her eye. Now knowing what was coming or so she thought.
She felt his fingers enter her opening and moving around and then exit but then it entered in a new place that made her eyes widden in fear and panic. Knowning how much his member hurt she knew it really was going to hurt her and might even rip her. She felt like trying to crowl away but knowing if that would happen her pusnishment would be 10 times worse then this.
Then she felt him move behind her as he forcably grabbed her arms and pulled them back using them as support. As he thursted inside her back passage she let out a cry of pain. Closing her eyes as tears ran down her cheeks as the pain over whemled her. Opening her eyes she looked at the mirror feeling the eyes of that pyscho upon her. How she just wanted to die. To just end it here and now that way The Count would kill them all. She didnt want to live with this memory.
As he asked his question she could only speak in a whisper. "Please, stop." She lowered her head and cried. Every thrust was a gasp of her crying in more pain. She knew he had ripped her open and probably would be bleeding which would drive him crazy. God she didnt want to be a vampire. Her late mother was apart of The Counts house. She was his favorite just like she was but knowing he was not her father and never knowing him she wondered if Asim would give her a child. Not knowing anything of her past other then The Count only be the one man in her life something felt strong to her. Why of all times was she having this feeling now. She knew that her master knew the truth but never would speak of it because he loved her to much. Far to much to tell her the truth of her father. So why was this thought happening know?! Being forced out of her thoughts she just kept crying and wishing that the pain would end very very soon.
............................................
Zero watched his two new play mates walk over to a table and was about to walk over to them when he turned toward the mirror. Smiling big he saw Asim forcing Pepper on her knees as she faced the mirror so they could see her face. Looking towards Asim face it was like he was looking at him so he just stared right back. It felt like they were so close. Like Zero himself was torturing this poor little soul and having a hell of a time doing so.
He turned full toward the mirror. Walking up to it he put his hand on the glass. Looking down at Pepper she too looked right at him. He smiled at her pain and as if she could see his smile she turned away. Tears ran down her cheeks as Asim kept thrusting hard inside her. Zero's member stood at attention wanting to badly to be inside the girl right now but he turned to see his two play mates. Drake's girl wanted him to enter her from behind. He looked back at Pepper and Asim. He wanted to torture them both and he didn't want them to ever forget but Drake had a plan. Even though he didn't agree with it Zero would let him play the way he wanted too because Drake understood him. Unlike The Count. Then the smiled was even bigger. Asim was going to die. Then Shadow would be all his.
He turned back to his two play mates and walked over to them. His member so hard to the point it was throbbing. Slapping Lila's ass, she tighten her ass making her opening sqeeze tight. He repeated again and again as Drake kept playing with her. Then he thrusted hard inside her back passage. She gasped as he began to repeat thrusting hard. He was in it to please himself. Never anyone else. He wanted to cause them as much pain as possible so if she isn't use to his kind of attactions then it will please him knowing she is in pain. But his mind was else where. He wanted to watch Asim and Pepper. How he wanted them. To torture them. The thought of them kept his thrusting hard and fast. He couldn't wait to have them after the fact. Could he control himself? Never. He was a wild beast ready to strike at any given moment. As he just kept thrusting.
......................................................
Amira looked out from behind the curtin. "Well, I have reason for living. Even though I am alone in my fight I have people who are counting on me to remain strong." She looked him up and down before stepping back under the water. "I've seen you fight Nick. Even though you couldn't see me I saw you fight a Gugnug. That was the nastyest looking beast I had seen in my life. 9 foot tall with mud all over its body and a horrbile smell. It was like a giant toad. I am surprised you got a grip on it. One hell of a fight."
She knew he was grinning at her but knowing Rachel had the hots for this human maybe she should just back off. But, she wondered how he felt about the girl and about her, herself. "So, how are you doing Nick? I have seen the way Rachel looks at you. Anything, going on between you too?" Then she shut off the water and opened the curtin just drying her hair with the towel as nothing else covered her form. "Well, if you dont wish to tell me its ok. Its none of my business." She stepped out of the shower and walked over to him. She had transformed in front of his man and he had seen her form so many times it didn't bother her for him to see her naked. Though he face was a little red he seemed to not hesitate admire what stood only a few feet away from him. He was man and she was a woman. Its only nature. "Because, if something is going on I will leave right now. I'm not one for hurting anyone. She seems to like you and if you think this will I will walk out that door right now..."
............................................................................
Rachel was back at the tea party wearing the same white dress with purple flowers on it, he had put her in so many years ago but only this time she was a grown woman. Not a child. Zero walked towards her with a smile on his face. She wanted to try and run but her ankle was chained to the table. She looked toward him as he sat down beside her. Reaching out his hand touched her thigh. She flinched unsure of what he was going to do to her but it came clear as his hand began to travel upward underneath her dress. She began to beg him to not do this. To let her go but with his other hand he put a finger to her month to hush her. She did as he asked as she felt his fingers dance over all over and then within out warning it enter her as she awoke....
Looking around the room it was dark. Nick was gone or maybe he wasn't even here to begin with. She so wanted to be near him right now. See Zero again brought back all those knowing emotions, she didnt want to deal with right now. Getting up she put on a rob and headed to look for her friend. Watching as he enter a bathroom, he left the door just at a crack as she heard another voice speak. It was Amira. Listening to their conversation she felt bad ease dropping but it has seemed these two had a past. As the shower shut off she saw Amira back block Nick's face from her view. It seemed she to had a thing for him but it had been long past their time. She was falling for him and hoped Nick felt the same way but why would he? She was a vampire and he was human. Even though Amira was a creature of two worlds she was famous and one hell of a catch. To be the boyfriend of her would mean so much more then just being with little old Rachel. Even her sister was famous. Rachel was sh*t . Why would anyone want to be with her? So she was going to wait to hear his answer but turned and walked back to her room. She knew the answer and didn't want to know. If he came back to her then so be it. She could look past this one weakness of a moment. It wasn't the first time. So she just laid back down and waited.

Terri lost her nerve as the mysterious guy growled quietly at her. She could tell she was treading on thin ice here and he frightened the bejesus out of her. He was demanding answers and she hadn't really thought about how she was going to be able to explain the fact she had been dreaming about him. She tried to firm up, but failed to keep the tremor from her voice.
"I...um... see things in my dreams. I see events before they occur and I saw you before you arrived. I've seen something of your future too... but it's hard to make out exactly what."
She sighed, feeling like a complete idiot, she wished she could make sense of what the dreams were showing her. She only knew they would become clearer the closer the event was due to occur. At the moment it was mostly guess work and that made her sound like a pretty crappy seeress.
"At the moment I can only see darkness and bloodshed, and for some reason I feel drawn to you. The only reassurance I got for you is that you’re meant to do something very important.”…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
”Please stop!”
Asim’s left eye twitched as the girl’s words touched some inner part of him. He suddenly felt his motions slowing down to a less violent rhythm. Somewhere in the back of his dark mind he saw a flash of memory… another woman begging him to stop. This wouldn’t usually bother him but the woman’s eyes reminded him of his son. It was Qalyur’s mother he saw begging him to leave her alone.
Asim stopped altogether and pulled himself out of the girl’s rear. His member was slick in blood and he smelt the girl’s pain in the air. He couldn’t finish yet though, the desire to see her abused was too overwhelming, Drake’s necromancy was too powerful to break.
Sitting down behind Pepper, he pulled the girl backwards onto his lap. He knocked her legs out wider using his knees and wrapped one arm around her as he slipped his member back into her. This time opting to enter her mound again rather than her a$$. He bounced her on his shaft, giving the audience a good view of Pepper’s naked bruised body with her legs wide apart as she sank down repeatedly on his large member. The arm he had wrapped around her had the fingers playing with her bud as he f*cked her.
He grunted in time with his upward thrusts as he soon found his face close to her throat. That vein throbbed so temptingly… it had been so long since he had tasted real human blood. She belonged to the Count’s own vineyard so he knew her life force would taste exquisite. His arm tightening around her slim form, he bit her neck and his black eyes rolled into the back of his head with pleasure…
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Drake knew he had been careless to mix business with pleasure. Here he was sitting on the desk, the woman sat astride him, grabbing at his collar, impaled on both his own and his new friend’s members. He was nearly forgetting about his plan as their d1cks ground into the woman at different angles and unmatched rhythms. His necromantic hold over Asim was to prevent the vampire taking the girl’s life… it seemed his hold was slipping as Asim was busy feeding on the girl right now!
“Oh sh*t !” He suddenly blurted out. A bright blast of magic sent Lila and Zero flying across the room away from him. They hit the wall with a loud thump. Drake had to assume they weren’t harmed too badly as he rushed out of the room, stuffing his still hard meat back into his zipper as he went.
Drake burst into the holding cell and Asim stared darkly back at him as he continued to thrust up into the wh0re and drain her blood. He had a murderous gaze as if he was making a silent threat against the other vampire if he interrupted his sport. “Stop!” Drake shouted. “I f*cking order you to stop!” His possessed puppet was ignoring his commands and Drake felt his first stabs of fear at his loss of control. He ran his fingers through his short blonde hair and tried to remain calm. “You asked for this Ausar!”
Murmuring a few words of incantation, Drake created a bright purple ball of energy that he sent at the couple screwing on the floor in front of him. The energy engulfed them and knocked them instantly unconscious. Drake checked Pepper’s pulse and breathed a sigh of relief as he realised she was still alive… just. Then he grinned widely. This actually worked in his favour, the Count was surely going to be driven insane with fury at what Asim had done to his beloved little pet.
Lila came into the room, zipping up her one-piece leather cat suit. “Everything alright?” She asked, seemingly disturbed by his grin.
“Everything is more than alright.” Drake told her. “Perfect in fact! Get this poor abused child back upstairs and don’t let anybody see you. I have done the spell necessary to erase her memory since she decided to come wandering down here. She will think Ausar got the jump on her in a corridor somewhere.”
Lila nodded. “Yes master.” She looked down at Pepper with a distasteful sneer. The girl meant nothing more to her than some half-dead insect. She picked the girl up and threw her over one shoulder before turning and heading out of the lab. The scientists she passed watched her leave with open mouthed stares. Drake looked down at Asim’s naked, unconscious form and grinned. “You’ve played your part well, Assassin.” He clicked his fingers and some of his aides arrived. “Dress him and dump him somewhere in the city. For his sake I hope he remains asleep when the count finds him. I think my friend’s retribution will be brutal but perhaps swift. Go!”
Left alone with Zero, Drake patted his shoulder. “I am very sorry about having to rudely interrupt your fun yet again my friend.” He smiled. “I am sure you understand the big picture here. You know what is at stake. We should return to the mansion immediately.”
Drake walked with Zero back into a drawing room somewhere in the Count’s home. He had a slave pour them both a glass of blood to toast their victory. With an evil laugh, Drake downed his goblet in one. He couldn’t wait for the Count to discover his favourite mount having been abused by another male.
“Tonight my friend… we go to war. The streets of Red Blood City will live up to it’s name!”
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Lila dumped Pepper somewhere in a corridor after checking to make sure nobody was around. She looked down at the unconscious girl and resisted the urge to spit on her. How she loathed humans. She would never be able to understand what some of her kind saw in their petty, fragile bodies. To her, humans were nothing but inferior. “For your sake, I hope we don’t meet again sl*t!” She whispered and quickly left to return to the labs. She had to get Drake’s soldiers ready, she knew the order for assault would come before long…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick watched Amira step out of the shower and walk towards him whilst towelling her hair. He liked to think of himself as cool and unflappable… especially around women but Amira had something that always made him feel like turning to jello. He continued to lean against the door frame in a casual stance, doing what he could to turn down his enthusiasm of being around her when she had no clothes on.
“I don’t want to hurt anyone either.” He said at last, his brown eyes looking into Amira’s, searching for some understanding there. “The ch!ck is a hottie, don’t get me wrong. But that’s probably why I’m not in bed with her, screwin’ her right now. I like her too much.” He laughed at the ridiculousness of the sentence. It deserved further explanation. “You know me Amira, you know what I’m like. It would be Rachel Monday then ‘Tiffany’ on Tuesday. Rachel even threw one of my ‘cast off’s’ out the door back at my apartment. I slept with her only last week and I can’t even remember her name fer cryin’ out loud. Besides…” He dropped his gaze to the floor, somehow unable to look the chosen one in the eye. “…Nobody gets me the way you do.” An awkward moment of silence passed and he finally lifted his head.
He gave Amira a determined nod. “If you need me I’ll be in the lounge area. I figure we got a few hours before all hell breaks loose on our doorstep for me to train some of the others up ready for battle. I hope you’re ready Amira ‘cause you got one helluva fight ahead of you, you better work on your strategy and get a stirring speech together because I think these guys are gonna need it.”
Nick gave her a quick smile then turned and left the wash rooms. He would go and take his frustration out in the gym before getting the others together for training…

Pepper had awoke to the sounds of whispers and noticed Sasha starring down at her. Jumping fully awake she sat up and saw Ashley, Lori, and Jennifer also standing around her.
"Good lord," Pepper began, "Any of you get the license plate of that truck that hit me."
Sasha smiled big as she hugged her. "I'm glad your ok." She pulled back keeping the smile for a moment more before it vanished. "What happened down there?"
"Down where?" Pepper asked confused. She began to try and stand on her own but it wasn't working out so well. So the girls helped her up.
"You went to the basement and was gone a little over an hour. I was going to our master when Lori came and got me. She brought me here and you were out cold."
Pepper felt dizzy. Light headed even to the point the girls were helping her by letting her using her as crutches.
"Look I have no idea what your talking about. Now if you dont mind The Count is expecting me." She pushed the girls away from her and walked out of the stair well corridor. Walking toward the elevator Sasha was close on her heels.
"I love you Pepper but right now I'm not so sure."
Pepper stepped onto the elevator and held the door a moment. Looking at her friend she said, "I love you to Sasha biut sometimes you and be a little annoying." The doors closed as she left Sasha hanging.
This wasn't like Pepper at all. Something was horribly wrong with her friend. As the elevator came back down Sasha stepped in and took it up. Getting off she headed for her masters sweet. If something was wrong she will be the first to do...to do what? Well whatever it was she was ready.
.............................
Pepper knocked on the door and entered before she got and answer. Looking around the room her master lay on the bed under his silk sheets. Pepper licked her lips and walked over to him. Removing her clothes as she walked she was fully naked as she reached the bed.
"Come here my pet," The Count purred.
Pepper obeyed her master and crawled on her hands and knees towards him. As she reached him and he was about to kiss her neck The Count paused. Anger ran threw him as he then pushed her away.
She fell to the floor landing on her butt and hands as her left hand twisted. Looking up at him she was confused as to what was going on.
The Count stood and walked around the bed. Starring down at his beloved Pepper with disgust. "You little b*tch."
Tears began to run down her cheeks. "What did I do?"
"You f*cked him you little Dracula! How could you let him Pepper? To let him taste you even? Why Pepper?"
"I swear Count. I dont know what your talking about. Please believe me."
He raised his hand toward her. Something he had never done to any of his girls before abdul Pepper being the first was horrifying.
Just then Sasha came rushing into the room. "Don't!" She yelled.
The Count turned to her with rage in his eyes. "How dare you come in here and tell me too..."
"Whatever it is isnt her fault," Sasha said quickly, "I saw your two guests headed for the stairs and they went to the basement. Pepper followed them and we found her in the stairs well not more then 10 minutes ago. Please if you are to harm anyone its me because I saw them go and told Pepper about it. She went without anyone."
Pepper was still crying as she sat holding her wrist. The memory of Asim and her in that stair well came flooding at her. Turning to Sasha she asked, "Where were you waiting at?"
Sasha turned to her and said, "In the bedroom."
Pepper looked off. Remembering as she hit the door Asim was standing there with a huge grin on his face. A crazy look in his eyes as like Zero had when they were in the dungeon room together. She sighed. Looking at her master she said, "Asim caught me in the stair well. I guess I blacked out."
The Count turned his back to them. Letting out a sigh he said, "He violated you and he tasted you..." His voice drifted as he closed his eyes. His hands balled into fists as he then turned toward them. "He will pay. That son of a b*tch will die."
The Count stormed out of the room yelling and screaming with so much rage it could be heard threw out the huge mansion. Pepper threw on her robe and grabbed his silk blue one. Catching up to him at the elevator she put his robe on and headed down...
........................
Zero smiled at Drake but began to doubt his so called perfect plan when they began to hear screaming. But it wasn't fearful screams. No this was pure rage hatred screaming.
Zero sat down in a brown leather chair sipping on his glass of blood when The Count blasted threw the doors. Looking from Zero to Drake he said, "What the hell happened?!" He demand. Zero smiled at Pepper and Sasha and he drank his glass of blood slowly.
The Count didn't wait for an answer. "Asim was hiding in the basement and attack Pepper," he began looking hard at his friend before him, "I watched him leave Drake. I know he was upset but I never dreamed he would take it out on..." His voice drifted off. Turning to Pepper he held her. "I'm sorry," he whispered.
"Its ok," Pepper whispered back. Seeing nothing but Asim's face as she closed her eyes.
The Count turned back to Drake. "I want Asim now. Alive, so I can kill him myself!" He shouted as he sat down in a near by chair. Pepper and Sasha sitting down at his feet. "He will pay." The Count whispered as Lori brought him a glass of blood so he two joined his friends in a toast of their soon to be falling "brothers" demise.
.................
Amira nodded as she walked out. Heading to her room she opened another before going to hers. "He thinks your a hottie and he likes you. We didn't even touch." Pausing as she heard a squeak of joy sge said, "He is in the gym. Go and be with him." Amira closed the door and walked to her room.
The test showed Rachel that Nick was a true gentleman. Even though Amira got him, he never belonged to her liked she hoped some day he would. His feels for Rachel were true. So be it.
Amira got dressed and headed outside to think. Nick was right. She needed to come up with one hell of a speech to win this war. Her troops were scared and unsure but they wouldn't run. She fought with every one of them at least once and all she trusted with her life.
As she walked around the building she caught scent of something. Following it it took her about a block away before finding Asim laying in a pile of trash in an alley. Kneeling down she caught the smell of sex and blood on him. Trying to wake him without hurting him she said, "Asim, what the hell man? Wake up!"
............................
Rachel entered the gym with a big smile on her face. "How about a rematch?" She asked holding up a basketball.

"Uh huh." Saren said, standing up. "I'm a guy who woke up in an alley with no memory and superhuman strength. Yeah, that'll work out real nice as someone destined for something." He breathed in deeply, trying to calm himself. He looked down, and almost snickered when he saw the girl still on the floor, just about paralyzed with fear. He sighed, then held out a hand to Terri. She still didn't move. "Come on, helping you up is the least I can do."

Terri stared up at him warily. Her obvious fear seemed to amuse him and her fright gave way to anger. She didn‘t like to be mocked. She pushed herself to her feet without taking his hand. “I’m not as helpless as you think mister.” She said defensively, snapping out of her daze. Terri was at that young age where you still cared how you were perceived by those around you.
“Perhaps I’ve made a mistake in coming to you about this.” She said, standing before him but he was nearly a foot taller than her. “At least you know powers beyond our dimensions, fate or whatever you want to call them have something in mind for you. Maybe you have no memory for a reason? Maybe the person you were working in that laboratory wasn’t a good guy at all.” She couldn’t answer any of these questions and it didn’t seem Saren could either.
“Good day to you Sir, I wish you luck in the coming battle.” Terri turned and left Saren Nihl to his solitude…
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Of course he will pay!” Drake gasped, his mouth opening in shock at the news. “I can’t believe the cretin who would call you friend could insult you like this! I knew that assassin was trouble the moment I saw him. It is no matter Count.” Drake raised his own glass to the toast. “We know where to find him. He will probably have ran back to Amira’s lair by now. My soldiers and my test subjects are ready to go to war in 24 hours. Let us join forces and smash their petty collection of out-casts and loaners. What do you say?”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Asim snapped awake and twisted away from Amira’s touch. His pupils were dilated like he was high on drugs as he looked around wildly. He calmed down slightly and sat himself on the trash and ran his fingers through his short sweat-slicked black hair. “Amira.” He muttered quietly, looking at her. “How did I get--” He stared hard at the wall without actually seeing it. “I was at the Count’s mansion. I was trying to reason with him… then…” He gazed down at himself. He was fully dressed in dark jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt but he had a feeling he hadn’t been the one to dress himself. He could smell that a woman had been all over him and recognised that scent as belonging to the Count’s personal slave. Pepper.
“Gods above.” Asim gasped, flashes of memory coming through to him the harder he concentrated. He looked at Amira as he jumped to his feet. “I’ve just assaulted the Count’s lover. Drake, that b*stard! That clever, clever b*stard! He used some sort of magic to make me do it. I raped the girl the Count treasures above everything else. They’ll be joining forces to smash us, Amira.”
The awful realisation came to Asim suddenly. “I can’t help you in the coming battle.” He punched the wall, his fist smashing into the brick. “I have to lead the Count and his forces away from here. That means I have to leave Red Blood.” He pulled his hand back out of the wall and gazed at his bleeding knuckles. It reminded him of what he had done to Pepper… and of how much he enjoyed it. Drawing the Count away from the battle wasn’t the only reason Asim had to leave… he knew Drake had awakened something in him. Something he had long forgotten. He couldn’t wait to attack someone else.
Asim gazed sadly at Amira. He had never felt so lost or frustrated before in his life…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick turned and flashed the young vampire a grin. “If you like.” He used the back of his wrist to wipe sweat from his forehead that had already formed with the extreme exercises he had been putting himself through. The same sweat stained his plain gray T-shirt below the neck and under his arm pits. He trotted over to the netted basket where they kept the balls and grabbed one out before bouncing it at Rachel.
“See if you can punch your way through my defences.” He said, standing between Rachel and the hoop. He turned his head to see a few people had wandered into the gym. They started to congregate at and around the bench at the far corner. They watched Nick and Rachel.
Nick raised his voice. “I hope you’re all watching this, a simple game of basket ball is sorta like a battle. We got an attacker-” He motioned towards Rachel with his hand. “We got a defender-” He touched his own chest. “And we got an objective-” He pointed at the net behind him. There were more nets along the gym. “I suggest you all get into pairs or small groups and start practicing some basket ball.”
He turned his attention back to Rachel. “Now where were we?”

The Count suddenly stood. Looking from Pepper toward Drake he said, "Asim is dumb enough to run. I don't want him too but I don't want a whole group after him either. Send two after him to give him the message that the fight remains here. If he wishes to remain on my good side then he must face me. I won't kill him. I've got something else in mind but he must see me to find out."
The Count still wanted Asim on his side. He was like the god father of vampires so what he said goes. If Asim wanted this settled then he would show up.
He looked back at his two girls. "Come with me. We have a little time before the battle to come."
Pepper took his right arm as Sasha took his left. They walked past Drake as he stopped and looked at him. "I'm counting on you Drake. Don't let me down." He then disappeared.
............
Zero stood and walked over to Drake after The Count left. In a c*cky tone Zero said, "And I'm counting on you. Sheesh, what am I chop liver?" He then hissed. "I think we should torture him some more before giving him back to daddy."
Their was a huge grin on his face as he zoned out. Looking back at Drake he said, "What his the great Drake thinking now, huh? Penny for your lovely twisted thoughts."
.................
Amira was surprised to see him like this. "Asim I need your help. Please, don't back out. I dont care what you have done I need you to stand tall and fight by my side. Shadows baby needs you to fight for his life."
Just then another voice spoke, "Amira, save you breath. Cant you see he has been threw hell?"
They turned to see Hawk and Ardolf walking toward them. Amira gave them both equal hugs then turned to Amira. Both men helped him stand.
"Ardolf take Amira back to headquarters. Let me speak with him." When two were out of sight Hawk just looked at him. Many moments past before either spoke. "Look," Hawk said at last, "If you feel the need to run then do. But knowing The Count your not the prize to be won. Amira and this child I have been hearing so much about is going to need a guardian. I did my job and look at Amira now. Shadow needs you to be her childs guardian Asim. Don't ask me how I know. I just do." Asim was about to speak but raised a hand to silence him. "I don't care what happened, I just know if you leave all hope for that child is gone."
Hawk began to walk away and then stopped. Turning to him be said, "What's most important to you Asim? The battle is less then 24 hours away. Time to pick a side." Then he was gone.
.....................
Rachel loved how many people began to play around them. Picking teams of five and working together. It was a beautiful sight. The score was 4 to 4. Rachel let Nick win. As she looked around she said to him, I am amazed how well so many different creatures can work so well together." She turned to Nick woth a big smile. You are and amazing man Nick Owens."
Then she turned to see Amira and two other older men walk into the gym. She was so pleased to see her army working so hard. She looked to the two of them and nodded.
Rachel turned to Nick. "Time for some fighting lesson. I promise to try and not hurt you but the key word is try." She winked at him then walked forward. "Ok everyone listen up! Time is running shorts. I want everyone who knows some if not alot of fighting techniques on the east side and everyone else on the west. It was about half and half. Rachel turned to Nick and said, "Take it away boss."

Saren's eyebrow lifted as he stared after Terri, then bared his teeth once she had vanished from sight. He gasped as his hands cracked and twisted. With a sickening sound, each hand morphed into large, four-fingered claws (like this). He stared down at his arms, then slowly grinned wickedly. He would be very ready for the upcoming fight... His smile faded as he thought about what Terri had said about his "future". She could have Seen his destiny, but Saren wasn't about to become a pawn of Fate without a fight. He would choose his own path...and kill anything opposing him.

Drake sucked his fangs noisely when he had been left alone with Zero. "I'm thinking: I'm screwed!"
He suddenly threw his goblet across the room in a temper. "This is terrible!" He said, feeling the first rush of panic he had felt for a very long time. "If he confronts Asim and the assassin gains his memory the Count will know what I've been up to! Ausar must either die or be silenced for good somehow. And soon! Forget torturing the assassin; All my plans will come to ruin if I fail to have the Count 100 percent on my side."
Drake began to pace the drawing room. "And I can't believe the Count would issue me orders to send someone to track Asim down. Doesn't he have enough of his own lackies?!" Drake turned to Zero in desperation. "I need to get AMira Nuit and I need to get her now. We must kill anyone that stands in our way! Even if I have to burn out hell it's friggen self to do it! I know how much passion drives you my friend! I know you understand how I'm feeling... don't you?" Drake implored at Zero.
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Asim was alone once again in the alleyway. Strange things were happening today that was for sure. Two people he had never met before in his life had just given him advise about a woman they were surely never to have met before either. Asim was done being fate's toy. He gave that job up a long time ago. But he did owe Drake, zero and the rest of them payback for what they had just done to him. Perhaps Amira was right. Leaving the city would be the cowardly thing to do and probably wouldn't draw off enough of the Count's soldiers to make a difference anyway.
Asim headed back towards Amira's lair. He knew he had to get through to the Count about what happened with him and Pepper, not to mention who was really behind it all. But he was well aware Drake would do whatever it took to stop him. He had to bide his time...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Nah, I'm not that amazing." Nick said, rubbing the back of his neck. Then he grinned and shrugged. "Okay maybe I am but let's not over do it."
He was pleased to see Amira back and looked over their assembled line of warriors as Rachel spoke to them. The young vampire had really grown into herself during the last twenty four hours. She seemed to have gone from a shy unspoken hero to a formiddable woman who could really hold her own. He liked Rachel alot.
"I'm not the boss here, babe." Nick said and pointed his thumb at Amira. "She is. And don't let the rest of you forget that! We're all here because of Amira. She has lead each and every one of you out of the darkness and now some big bad wants to get his filthy claws on our town I say f*ck that! We aren't giving up nothing without a fight." Nick paused as he considered each group of people that Rachel had separated. Those that had some skills and those that didn't know anything.
"I'll take the beginner's group. I'll show you how to use ranged weapons. We don't have enough time to get you guys trained up for frontline action." He nodded his head towards Rachel. "You should go with the more experienced group. Get 'em sparring and find out who's good at what. Let's do this!" He clapped his hands and took his team off to one side to start explaining the basics...

Zero smiled at Drake. "I'm insane. Of course I understand. Who better?" He drank the rest of his blood and threw it against the wall and chuckled as it broke. "I want my girls. I want to torture them so as their eyes scream for their savior I will f*ck them so hard until they come to realize no one will ever come." He smiled even bigger then before. "So, whatever you want me to do Drake I will do it. If you want me to storm the castle and bring you this Amira I will do so. Then my girls are mine."
Zero knew that Rachel was still in this city. Her essence was so yummy that he could almost feel being inside her again. Unlike Shadow. He didn't feel her at all. It was like she just disappeared. No matter. Wants he had Rachel, big sis will come a running.
"Calm yourself Drake. You're suppose to be cool and cultive. Trust me we will win this war. You have nothing to fear." Zero had never lost until he ran across The Count but Drake had freed him and he is forever in his debt. Although he would never reviel that truthfully, it had seemed Drake might already know.
"In less then 7 hours left my friend and not a moment to lose. Come let us get the men ready." He opened the door and bowed at him. "Shall we?"
........................................
The Count had one of his body guards keep his eye on things. It wasn't long after he had left the two vampires alone before he entered his bedroom.
"Sir," Kip began, "The war is beginning."
The Count did not retreat to have fun with his women but to geer up for the battle to come. "I know."
"I sent a few of my men to give the message to Asim. Hopefully he will get it."
"Good. Thank you Kip."
"Oh, and sir."
"Yes, Kip."
"We are with you to the end."
"I know."
Kip exited as he The Count turned to Pepper and Sasha. "I have to go now my lovelys."
"But," Pepper began, "Let Drake handle it."
"Yeah," Sasha said joining in. "We want you to remain here master."
The Count brought the girls closer to him. "I know but this is really important. If I am not there all hell will break lose. I need her my pets. If he takes control then there goes hope for my plans. I need to do this."
Pepper kissed him. "I love you."
"I love you too," He said returning the kiss. Then he left. The girls would wait for their master to return.
......................................................
The two vampires appeared out of the shadows as they stood just a few feet away from Asim.
The one with the red mohawk said, "Hey, dumbass. We have a message for you."
"Yeah," said the other with at least 30 piecings in his face, "The Count wants you to know that he understands and wants to see you at once. He will be waiting for you here." The vampire threw a letter at him. "Don't disappoint him." Then they disappeared.
(The note read as he opened it.
"Look Asim I want you to meet me just a block away from Amira's lair in front of Anderson's computer shop. There I will explain. Please do not disappoint me by not showing up. I have no intention of killing you....yet. Show up and that thought wont even cross my mind. See you in an hour.")
.................................
Hawk smiled at the two taking charge of Amira's warriors. It made him feel good that she did have people on her side that knew her so well. He turned to her and Ardolf. "We need to talk."
They walked away from the gym. As they enter her office and closed the door behind them he said, "My men have been watching everything Amira. There is very little that I don't know about and if I don't I make it my business to find it out. We need a plan of action."
"On what?" Amira said but Ardolf took the next step.
"Amira we love you so much. You know that right?"
"Yes, but..."
But before she could say anything else a bright light appeared. Peanut stood next to Adrolf. "Hello, Amira."
Amira's eyes widen. This wasn't good. "What is this about?!"
"We feel your life is in danger. If we dont get you away from here then..." Ardolf voice drifted off but Hawk picked it up.
"Everyone around you will die Amira."
Amira turned from them. Knowing Peanut was here was really bad. He only showed up when things were going to turned to hell. She let out a sigh as she turned back to them. "No, I cant leave. They will die even if I did go. I have to stay and fight and if you try and stop me..."
Peanut stepped forward. "We will not stop you Amira. We will only fight by your side. If this is what you must do then we will fight with you and for you. Just like the old days."
"We've never stopped," Ardolf added.
Amira turned to him and smiled. God how she loved having him be the voice of peace and reason between these two. "Back to work. Less then 7 hours. Time to get to work."
They made their way back to the gym.
.......................
Rachel began to train with the ones that seemed to fight better then the ones that Nick was training. As she looked around Amira, along with three other men enter the gym. It had seemed she kept on having more men join her team. She watched them as they entered and stopped in the middle of the gym. Rachel made her way over to Nick as Amira began to speak.
"Listen up guys. I am pleased you are listening to my team leaders Rachel and Nick. You have made me proud. Every last one of you but listen up. We have one hell of a battle ahead of us but I know how hard all of you have been working. I have faith we will win this. You all are so important to me I promise not to let you down. This is our time to shine and I know you will do me proud. Let us do this thing!"
It wasn't the best speech in the world, Amira thought, but with everything that had happened she didn't have much time for one of her truly famous ones. Still it was good enough. She had Hawk take some of the more experince ones and Ardolf the less.
She pulled Nick and Rachel to the side. "I want you both to work together and take some more people to help. The more they pratice the better."
"You got it!" Rachel said ready to stand by Nick side to do whatever they could to help. This was going to be great.
Amira let out a sigh. Maybe Ardolf and Hawk were right. Something was bothering her a lot. Maybe she needed to leave. No she couldn't. That wasn't her style. Still it was hard to have those thoughts in the back of her mind eatting at her. Oh well. She will help teach the ones that could fight like Hawk or Nick. Those would need her attention most of all. The battle was nearing them. Soon they will be face to face with evil. God, would they be ready in time? How she hoped so.....

“We shall.” Drake agreed. He was surprised to hear clarity come from the lips of such a psychopath. Perhaps Zero would make a very useful ally after all.
They headed down to the basement. Drake sobered himself up as they walked. He returned to his passive and un-ruffled behaviour as they stepped into his secret laboratory. Lila was already there to meet them and fell into step with them as they walked.
“Are the squadrons ready to empty out?” Drake inquired.
“They are Master.” Lila answered, she could feel adrenaline kicking through her body at the thought of battle soon to commence. She was going to have to kill something or f*ck something soon or else she would be driven crazy. “Our other allies have arrived in town and are getting ready to launch their attack.”
“Good.” Drake grinned, Amira was about to find herself blasted from every angle at the same time. They were sure to swarm over her little band of futile rejects and squash any hopes of resistance. “And about our experiments?”
“All currently completed projects are good to go.” Lila answered, her dark painted lips curling into a cruel smile.
“Excellent.” Drake beamed. “I believe we are almost ready.”
Drake stopped walking and turned to Zero. “Remember my friend, take any soul you like during this siege, but leave Miss Nuit to me. I must have her alive and un-spoiled.”…
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Asim watched the two other vampires vanish into the shadows they had appeared from. He let his guard down at last, now he was sure they hadn’t arrived to kill him. He turned to the note and read it quickly, his dark eyes flicking over the hand written page. This was definitely not a trick from Cartesian or Zero, the flow of the lettering was unmistakably the Count’s.
Crumpling the sheet of paper up in his hand and shoving it in his pocket, Asim turned on his heel and started off in a different direction. He had a shot at convincing the Count of the truth. He had to show up to the meet point and tell the Count everything he knew.
Asim got to the computer shop and leaned against the wall outside as he stuck his hands in his pockets. He waited for the Count to show up and tried to think about how he could explain what Drake Von Cartesian had done…
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick and Rachel worked together to train the others in small teams. It seemed the other people, creatures and demons had fighting talents of their own and they made for a very varied force. Some were martial combatants, others relied on magic and some ranged weaponry. The humans in their group were pretty much sitting ducks against what was sure to come, but if they were paired off to support the other races they had a shot at living through this.
After a few hours, Nick called a break and grabbed a bottle of water. His face shined with sweat as he took back a long gulp of H20. He stood off to one side with Rachel. After a long gulp, he lowered the bottle and wiped his forehead with the back of his arm. “I’d like to think we have a chance ya know.” He said quietly to her so nobody would overhear. “But it’s gonna be a tight one. You saw what came after us back in that sewer, how many of those monsters you reckon our local mad scientist has up his sleeve. I think that Saren guy is definitely a bonus to our situation but he’s not been offering to help out much. As for Asim, where the feck did he vanish to? And what about you? You need like… some blood or something? ‘Cause if you do uh…” He sighed. “Mine is gonna be supercharged if you want to feed off me tonight.”

Zero smiled at Drake. "Come now my friend. I would not harm your girl. She belongs to you just as my girls below to me. I promise you she will be untouched." Zero's thoughts raced. This power vampire wanted that woman to the point that she had to be untouched. She had to be specail indeed.
"Time to party..."
.......................................
The Count stepped from the dark alley alone. "Glad you could make it Asim." The smell of Pepper on him was about to set him off but The Count kept his temper in check. "So, tell me Asim. What do you think had happen between you and my Pepper? All she recalls is you violating her. I smell her all over you so please don't hold back and details that might help your case." He paused. Just staring down at him like he was trash. Even if Drake was the one behind it Asim had live blood. Even The Count himself did not drink live anymore because of the very reason he saw before him. Asim couldn't remain still. Even if Asim himself didn't see it, drinking live was like a human doing meth. You can't ever stop.
The Count had a plan in mind but it would not play out after Asim spoke his peace. No, after the battle ahead he would make Asim pay his debt in full and for Asim it will be fully horrible to the point that he might not beable to handle it but it was the only way...
........................................
Rachel smiled big at Nick and chuckled until she heard him mention blood. But more to the point his own blood. The smile was gone as she looked at him blankly. "You want me to what?" Her tone was like a small child being caught by mom with her hand in the cookie jar. It didn't seem real but she was caught. "I can't I mean. I've never drank live. It's against the rules. It would be..." her voice drifted off as she lowered her head. She closed her eyes as she said, "Why would you say that?" She looked up at him. Anger came over her form. "Why? Why would you want me to do that?"
Rachel ran out of the gym. She never wanted to taste human blood even though he smelled so damn good to the point that she wanted too. It was hard enough to control her beast that she might not beable too if she did taste him. Asim told her never to do that unless they were dying like she was. If Rachel was dying then she just as might as well die and she took it to heart. Her head was swimming.
She ran to the bar and sat down. Her head on the bar as she cried softly to herself unsure of what to do. She was such a child. What if her sister saw her like this? How stupid she felt now yelling at him like that. A war was coming and there was no time to have feeling like this.
She smiled softly as the bar tender handed her a glass of pigs blood. She downed in and harshly placed it back down on the bar. The bar tender refulled it and walked away leaving her to her thoughts...
....................
Amira watched Rachel run out of the gym. She walked over to Amira and said, "What did you do now?" She asked then shook it off. "Nevermind. Just go make it right." She slapped his ass as he walked by her and then went back to training.
