“Yes it is!” Drake threw back his head and laughed. He felt great despite the ruin of some of his plans. They would have Amira Nuit and Red Blood City regardless.
And when everything was done, Drake would become a god. Amira’s petty little rebels were all that stood in his way. Like pebbles before a great wave, they would be washed away with little effort.
“Empty out the labs!” Drake ordered.
Drake’s senior scientists quickly went about throwing switches and activating machinery as cell doors were opened and freak after freak stepped out to line up before their new general.
-----------------------------------------------------------
“We… we had sex and I fed off her.” Asim answered the Count truthfully, knowing Pepper‘s smell would be all over him. “I did violate her and I enjoyed doing it…. I can’t remember why I did it. Drake was behind it all, I swear to you. He somehow took away my willpower… made me…” Asim looked to the Count. “If you’ve come to try and kill me get it over with. I have more important things to do right now than worry about your girl friend… like stopping you from making the biggest mistake you’ll ever make.”
-------------------------------------------------------------
Nick rolled his eyes and shrugged to Amira before heading off after Rachel. He finally found the girl by the bar and wandered over. “Look maybe I can be a d*ck sometimes. Can we just start again yeh? Forget I said anything.”
He glanced down at what Rachel was drinking and then took a seat at the bar next to her. “Beer please.” He told the bartender. “May as well have a quick drink before I get back to work.” Nick sighed to himself. “So what I got to do to make you forgive me eh?”

Zero smiled as he stood by Drakes side looking at the army of freaks before him. None however were as pyscho as Zero was. He leaned over to Drake and whispered, "I hope their alot more f*cked up then they look, Drakey. If we are to win this its not just by strength. They have to down right play dirty. Do whatever it takes, and I mean whatever it takes to win " Thinking of Rachel he knew what he was going to do to her when he got her tied down to a bed. Oh the joy it will bring back to him. "I just want to make sure we have this in the bag. No slip ups because if their all heads will roll..."
..............
"I know it wasn't you Drake. You would never betray me like that but if I don't punish you then things will turn bad on me." He paused a moment. "After this battle and if your still alive I want you to come back for your punishment. If you don't then I will kill you. Balance and power must weigh the same on me. You must promise to show up and you will find out then. This isn't like a slap on the wrist Asim. You enjoyed doing those things to my girl. I myself haven't tasted her. That was the joy that drove me. You took that away. Now, it will cost you Asim. Promise me and nothing more will be said." He didn't care of the mistake he was making. He wanted Shadows child. He didnt care about Drake and his plans because the baby was the new key and he would stop at nothing to get it.
...............
"You don't get it Nick," she said with her chin on the bar looking at her glass of pigs blood. "I would rather die then drink live from a human. Asim says it changes us. There is no going back because you wouldn't be able to cut it out. Its like a drug. You will hurt all you care about in order to get that fix." She layed her cheek on the bar as she looked up at him. "Please promise me that if I am hurt so bad to the point that I cant recover you will leave me to die. I rather would then change into a monster like my fath... I mean like most vampires." She lifted her head as their eyes locked. "Please Nick do this for me. Promise me, ok?"
She cared for him to much to hurt him like that. He didn't see her a the true monster she was and she wanted to keep it that way.
............
Amira smiled as she shouted, "Time to gear up! Grab armor, guns, swords, holy water, steaks, silver...everything you can carry without over doing it! Found a partner or groups of three protect each other at all cost! We are in it to win it guys! Do your all time best! Make me proud! If you need to play dirty then do it! Just keep each other strong and I know we will do awesome! Now, lets begin to move out!"
As they walked threw the building Hawk whispered, "Great speech kiddo."
"As always," Ardolf added.
But Amira knew the truth. Most of her warriors were going to fall this day. Nothing would change the out come but they didn't care. Better to die in battle with a brave heart then living in fear. She wished that there was another way but she had heard the name of Drake. A vampire as old as The Count and just as devious as him. Maybe worse. Thing was she didn't know what he was after or way but within the counting down clock she was soon to find out.

"Have no fear Zero, my experiments will do whatever it takes to win. like puppets on a string they do as I command. They don't know mercy or fear, they will kill or be killed before they stop such is their... 'programming'." Drake sighed and accompanied Zero and Lila as the three of them returned to the street surface outside the mansion. The wind seemed to have picked up and whipped at their hair and clothing. A storm seemed to be coming. How appropriate, Drake mused.
Drake's experiements came out into the light of the moon. Some hissed, some roared as they shambled on their way towards Amira's hideout. Among them went scores of vampires clad in dark kevlar vests and dark robed mages intent to destroy the magic that protects Amira's place. He would bring her home crashing down around her if he had to. Drake's plan was simple, kill as many innocents as he could until Amira surrendered herself to him.
More vampire hordes approached from elsewhere, Drake's allies from abroad that had come to join the fighting. A huge beast came out and Drake climbed a ladder on it's right flank. It was his mount. "I will see you after the fight Mr Zero." Drake called down. "I hope you find the girl you are looking for." Drake picked up his radio. "Lila, any sign of the count?"
"None Sir," She replied, still standing next to Zero. "He went out earlier and vanished. He covered his tracks well."
"Hmm. With a bit of luck he found Asim and killed him. Not to worry... advance!"
Lila repeated the order and the largest army Red Blood City had seen for millennia marched onwards...
----------------------------------------------------
"You would punish me but let the demon who caused it to go free?" Asim's jaw clenched with barely concealed anger. "Why do you let Drake call the shots here? This is your town... take it back from him! Before it's too late! I will be back to face your punishment, if you haven't been staked through the back by one of your 'friends'. But I got another promise for you... if I catch you anywhere near Shadow... I will kill you myself or die trying. I swear it!"
Nothing left to say between old friends. It was pretty clear there was no friendship between them anymore. Asim turned and was on his way.
As he moved through the city he heard screams and the loud roll of a drum beat. The sounds of an army on the march. Scaling the outside of a building, he got to the roof and looked out over a scene that made his jaw drop. Drake's army was vast and seemed without number. They were killing and burning their way towards the center of town. Towards the cemetry.
Hurrying on his path, Asim raced towards Amira's base as fast as he could...
------------------------------------------------------------
"I'll do what I think is necessary." Nick answered Rachel. He couldn't promise that he would kill her for becoming what she already was in his eyes. A vampire was a vampire despite how they tried to act like humans. "Maybe it won't come to that at all Rachel." Nick sighed. "You've helped train the warriors. You came with Asim in the beginning with the warning of what was going to happen. You've already done so much... why don't you get out of town before the fight? Go and find this sister of yours?"

Zero didn't like the thought of Drake's puppet b*tch losing The Count. If he didn't want to be followed then Asim wasn't dead. Something was not adding up with him and he didn't like it. Maybe he will try to kill The Count himself when the time was right for it. Then Drake would fully rule this world and no one could stop him. Not with Zero by his side.
Still something seemed off. He couldn't put his finger on it but still the marched forward almost to Amira's hide a way. 'This was going to be fun' he thought. 'How I can't wait.'
..........................................
There was something deeper to The Count's plans. It was just do to having the child but the bigger picture was something he couldn't turn his back on. He wanted to tell Asim but he needed his fun trust again before he could. After his horrifying and very painful punishment he would fill him in.
As he turned The Count stopped in his tracks. Smiling he said, "Vandock? Is that you boy?"
"Yes, father it is me. What are you doing here?"
"I was just about to ask you that. Thought you hated me."
"I don't hate you father. Just that you don't see reason. I know what you are planning to do to him and I don't approve. Please, don't do it."
"He hurt me," The Count said starting to walk away, "I have to keep order. If the girls..."
"Your slaves have it good. No one would dare to cross you."
"Drake did. He used Asim to make me kill him."
"Then punish him, not Asim."
"You heard Asim," The Count shouted, "He enjoyed it! Then tasted live again. If I don't kill him I must do the one thing that will set him back. Its the only way to keep order."
Vandock stepped in front of him. "f*ck you order! I am going to go help Amira."
"No! You can't! I forbid you!"
"Ha, thats a laugh. You can't forbid me! You don't own me anymore!"
"Then I will kill you!"
"You can't do that either daddy. You love me to much. Even though you have no soul you fell for a human. You're losing your touch daddy dearest."
The Count raised his hand then lowered it again. "You don't understand is going on V. The plan has to fall threw. The war is happening now. If you want to help Amira. You are right. I can't stop you. So go ahead and go. But if we cross paths again I will have to hurt you."
"I wouldn't have it any other way." He leaned in and kissed The Count on the cheek. "See you later."
Vandock was gone. The Count side and made his way back to his men who now were going to join Drake and the others.
.........................................
Rachel kissed Nick on the lips. She just felt the need to do it before they would be in the middle of battle before it was to late. As she pulled back. "If I leave who is going to save your sorry ass from getting kill, uh? No, my place is by your side." Then she side. "Just know one of the man I am sure we are going to face is my father. I am not sure how I know, I just do. He is a vampire named Zero. Not sure how that happened but I was a human before I met Asim. Not a strong one either. Shadow my sister had the super strength. Maybe my senses was better then most but that was about it." She looked away then looked back at him. "I am not perfect but I do know that I care about you and I just wanted you to know before all hell broke lose. I've got your back to the end." She put her hand on the back of his. She wanted to say 'I love you' but it still might be to soon for that so she held it back.
Before they were done talking Rachel saw Amira and many others heading for the door with weapons. War was upon them. Soon blood shed will be spilled. All this wonderful world she come to know will suffer horribly. She moved her gaze back to her man and a waited for him to speak.
..................................
Amira, Hawk, and Ardolf step up their warriors all over the building. The three of them went to the roof of the building so they could look down on the world below them. All sides had weapons pointing out of every window ready to kill. No vampire could enter without someone like the three that stood on top of the build, Nick or Rachel could invite a vampire into the building. It had to be one of those 5 plus 4 others. It was the way the spell worked.
As they awaited thet heard someone land behind them. Spinning Amira smiled, "What in the hell are you doing here?"
"I've been good too. Thanks for asking."
Hawk growled but Ardolf stopped him as Amira walked over to the man.
"You dad might be pissed."
Vandock smiled, "Beyond pissed but you know me. I found my heart."
She smiled. "Indeed you did. Glad to have you. Drake might be pissed too."
"sh*t I can handle that p*ssy. Anything to have a little fun Amira. You know me."
"Indeed I do." She turned to the others. "I can hear them coming. Not more the 10 minutes away. War is almost here."
"Then we will win!" Vandock said with a little cheer. "I can't wait to kill my own kind."
They were indeed ready to fight and cut them down in numbers. The more they fell the better off they could win. Right now with being in ready and the fight coming to them they just might have the chance. It was looking good for them. So they just waited and were ready to kick some ass.

Saren stood beside the closed and barricaded door, waiting for the oncoming horde of enemies. He breathed in deeply, hands clenching and unclenching as he anticipated the upcoming battle. When the various mob of nasties eventually managed to break into the building--through that door, at least--they would be faced with a deadly surprise; Saren had been practicing on "morphing" his limbs into various lethal weapons, each capable of killing an ordinary human in a split-second.
A distant noise sounded, making Saren's ears almost perk up as the noise echoed to him. He went into a crouch, preparing himself for the attack; they would be there soon.

Nick smiled at Rachel. The ground beneath their feet was begining to vibrate with the sound of the approaching army. The lights above them swayed and flickered as people rushed about the lounge area either arming themselves or looking for a place to hide their children. Most had gone outside to take up defensive positions in buildings around the cemetry. They were all going to do whatever it cost to stop Drake and his forces from reaching their goal.
The people remaining in the cemetry were boarding it up and setting barricades. He noticed Saren taking a position by one and thought about approaching him, trying to talk to him. But there really was no time for that.
Nick suddenly grasped the hand that was holding his and shook it firmly. One warrior greeting another. "It's gonna be a pleasure to fight beside you Rachel. If you meet this Zero guy, settle the score and shove a stake up his a$$. And by the way, you call that a kiss?" Nick suddenly swept Rachel off her feet and held her in his arms as he leaned over her and planted a very long and passionate kiss on her lips. It was the kind of move he had seen in some soppy romantic film. When the kiss finished he straightened up again.
"When this is done, I don't know about you, but I'm gonna have a break from Red Blood, I think it's time I saw more of the world."
With one last wink at Rachel, Nick headed towards the roof access. Determined if he was going down this day he would want to go down beside Amira.
----------------------------------------------------------
Asim made it to the cemetry and quickly made his way up to the roof where Amira waited with her new companions. He arrived just as Nick and Rachel entered the roof space.
"Well where the hell have you been?" Nick shouted above the howling wind.
"I have been a guest in the cell of our enemy." Asim answered. "He made his biggest mistake by letting me go."
Asim heard Vandocks last statement. "I'm glad to hear that my friend, but if it comes down to it... would you be able to kill your own father?"
Turning to Amira he said, "Sorry for being away, I failed to change the Counts mind..."
------------------------------------------------------
Terri had never been so frightened in her life. This was what weeks of preparation and months of omens and visions had lead her. She noticed Saren by one of the barricades and counted herself among the others that joined him at his post. She watched him shift shape into a more lethal creature and a tear worked it's way down her cheek.

Garnian Krai stepped up behind Amira, Asim, Nick and Rachel. His cane tapped against the roof as he approached the others, his cloak flapping in the wind.
"Hello all." The magus said, startling the others. He nodded to Amira and Asim, then smiled as Nick and Rachel lifted their eyebrows in confusion. "I'm Garnian Krai, magus. I've come to help."
"You're not the only one." A voice said from the left. Master Voro Naisa stood there, eyes sparkling as he lifted his Everfoaming mug in salute. "I contacted Izin; he's gathering all the people he can. Pretty useful, having the best information broker in the world on your side," He added with a grin. "As a matter of fact, he should be here any second, along with Gwaed..." He looked around, then shrugged. He almost jumped off the roof as two people materialized before him, the shadows seeming to part for their entrance.
Izin cracked his neck, then put a hand on his sheathed khopesh, positively bouncing with anticipation. Gwaed's face was impassive beneath his hood as he folded his arms over his barrel chest, awaiting what was to come.
"I managed to rally quite an impressive number of various sorts of creatures to help us." Izin said, smirking mischievously. "They will be here within a few minutes or so. Plenty of time for all of us to wet our blades with enemy blood before they arrive."
"What about Arinus, or Qalyur?" Voro inquired of the Avatar of Fear.
"Arinus is leading the army, and Qalyur...I couldn't reach him. Something was blocking communication around his area. I sent an agent to make sure he and Shadow were all right." Izin replied, a worried look coming over his face.
"So I suppose Rakurai won't be doing anything?" Garnian said, a grimace spreading over his face as he said the name.
Izin spat in disgust before answering. "I contacted him, but he seems to be waiting for...something. Luckily, he didn't seem to be on the Count's or Cartesian's side."
"Good." Gwaed grunted, still unmoving. "The battle already looks like a nightmare as it is. Throw in the Horsemen Incarnate on the enemies side and, well..." He shrugged, leaving it at that.
"They near." Garnian said after a pause, hand gripping his cane tightly as he heard the distant sounds of fierce creatures coming rapidly closer. "Prepare yourselves."

Ariel and Mera along with Mera's giant black wolf appeared on the roof top. Smiling Ariel rushed over to Ardolf.
"What the hell are you doing here Ariel?" He asked looking past her giving a strin look at Mera.
"I couldn't be away from you Ardolf. I wanted to fight by your side. Please don't turn me away."
"Fine. The more the merry I suppose." She kissed him hard to the point they fell over as they chucked.
......................
Amira looked at all the people around her. It was hard. All these people she loved and cared for are now fighting by her side. Suddenly a bright light appeared out of no where. As it died down a man in all white stood before her.
"I was wondering if you were going to show," Amira said.
Peanut smiled and pulled her off to the side. His smile was sad as his blue eyes met hers. "I'm sorry Amira."
Amira said nothing. What was there to say? She looked back over to her group of warroirs. The battle was here. There was no turning back. She looked back at Peanut.
"You know I have to do this," Amira started to explain, "If it comes down to it I will."
"I can't help this time. He wont let me."
"Its ok. I can take it from here. Thank you Peanut."
They hugged as he vanished.
Walking back over Hawk was the first to ask, "So, he isn't staying?"
"No," Amira said trying a smile, "The big man wont let him this time. Seems I have have enough warriors on hand."
Hawk something change in her but wasn't about to push it. They all turned to see the Drake and his men coming up towards her building.
"Places, everyone!"
Amira, Hawk, Ardolf, Asim, Rachel, Nick, Garnian, and Izin. Where at the side of the building looking down as Drake and Zero stood looking up at them along with Vess/Grim, Bing(who is musles for Vess) Wolff, and Cross who now walked with them.
Amira smiled down at Drake. "I see you brought a big party with you and your riding a big dumb animal. Hope everything else isn't for making up for other areas good sir."
Ardolf and Hawk thought that was funny but in bad taste for this. To late now.
"What do you want?" Amira asked Drake.
Suddenly The Count came out of no where stepping in from of Drake and his men. "You know what we want Amira."
"Well, tough sh*t !" Vandock snapped.
The Count turned toward him. "Get out of here!" The Count snapped back.
"I dont think so! You and me. Like father like son."
The Count sighed. None of his men knew that he had a son. Only the ones who would know is the one that could know is the people he told. He never wanted to let Drake know he had a son to use it against him. To late now.
"Damn you!" The Count shouted at his son. Then turned back to Amira. "Just give up on Amira that way no one has to die!"
"Bullsh*t ! On your bullsh*t Count. We are ready to party..." She looked to Drake, "How about you? You lead and I will follow..."
................
*The thoughts else where of a beloved Shadow as she thought of her friends and family fighting to protect her this very day. Joy will be brought to them as blood will be shed for others. A damned day for everyone but its a small price for world piece. Is Hope on their side? Fate can only decide.*

Fierce pockets of resistance had already begun in the buildings surrounding the city cemetery. A few courageous individuals had posted themselves in an ambushing formation and were desperately trying to fend off swarms of Drake’s and the Count’s forces as the main body of the army continued it’s inevitable advance towards Amira’s HQ.
Drake was at the forefront of the army himself atop the huge and lumbering war beast. He didn’t need any reigns to turn and direct the creature, he controlled the un-dead monstrosity with his mind. At last he came before the mausoleum and looked up at Amira and her captains who were responsible for the resistance.
Nearby, the vampire Lila glared up at Amira. She was consumed with a furious jealousy that her beloved master would want the pathetic chosen one so badly. Her finger twitched on the trigger of her sniper rifle. She hoped to find herself alone with Amira at some point so she could kill the b1tch herself.
“I see you have new friends.” Drake said, his voice somehow booming across the playing field. He spied a few strangers among Amira’s assembly. It mattered little, if they stayed they would just fall with the rest. He watched as the Count spoke with his wayward son to little avail.
Drake smiled back up at Amira then started muttering an incantation. A set of robed humans that milled around the base of Drake‘s monster who were also necromancers joined in with the chanting, lending their magical aid to Drake. A glowing green ball appeared in mid air before blasting down into the ground. Skeletons and zombies started to claw their way up out of the ground of the cemetery. He summoned a protective shield over himself and his mount that would last until he was ready to join the battle proper himself.
With a deafening crescendo, the uncountable swarm of vampires, skeletons, ghouls and lab monstrosities attacked the mausoleum as one…
-------------------------------------------------------------
Terri heard the crashing and stamp of impatient feet from outside and knew that the battle had truly begun at last. The lights from the ceiling swung and bounced against the terrible noise as it rose in pitch.
Suddenly, the floor of the main room started to split and skeletons and zombies started to crawl out of the floor.
Terri screamed a word and fire started to rage about the un-dead ambushers, searing cold dead flesh from bones but leaving her companions unharmed… there were more than she could handle alone as others started their resistance…
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
On the roof of the mausoleum, Skeletons and zombies started to crawl over the side of the building and onto the walls where vampires vaulted themselves up…
“Plenty for everyone.” Nick said, looking around before he started opening fire at the horde. He stayed close to Rachel, determined to look out for her during the battle… whichever way it went.
Asim fought against the attackers as well. He wondered what it was going to take to survive this night…
(OOC: Everyone get stuck in, plenty of zombies, skeletons vampires etc to have coming at your characters in droves. Feel free to invent any kinds of monsters you want shoved in the horde lol)

Saren growled in glee as the barricade shattered, allowing various monstrosities entrance. He punched and kicked, taking down almost every single target with one blow as he acrobatically leaped and pounced. His foot lashed out, hurling a zombie into a crowd of enemies. He jumped after the undead creature, laughing in glee. He ripped apart skeletons, zombies, mutated experiments, and vampires with impunity, glorying in the dark blood spraying from their corpses after he slaughtered them. Seeing several closing on Terri, Saren's arm shifted into a long tendril which he promptly whipped at the enemies. The razor-tipped end cut through four zombies and skeletons in the first lash, then neatly bisected two mutated humans in the second stroke. He grabbed a chunk of wall with his free hand, then hurled it at the mob. The chunk shattered as it impacted, downing three creatures. Saren whirled, letting his whip-fist spin spin along with him. The limb slashed through the horde, killing eleven abominations in under three seconds. His arm shifted back, and he continued to fight and kill. It was going to be one hell of a night. *** Garnian dipped and ducked acrobatically, sword slashing at the horde that had crawled and flown up to the roof. Reflexes honed over millennia allowed him to take down all that neared, his body becoming a whirlwind of enchanted steel. Gwaed fought beside the magus, his schiavona flashing in what light was available, brutally cutting down monster after mutated monster. Whereas Garnian was elegant and graceful in his attacks, Gwaed was direct and overwhelming. Their two techniques were both equally effective, as attested by the high enemy body count. Voro spun and fought, his own melee style quite, er...unique. It was comprised mostly of feints and counters, which the Drunken Master used to great effectiveness. His Everfoaming mug proved to be more than just an unlimitless piece of wood--he activated it, sending a huge fountain of foamy liquid sprayed from the mug, which blinded and knocked enemies down. He took advantage of the alcoholic surprise, his limbs lashing out violently at the disabled enemies, killing several in the span of a few seconds. Izin was perhaps the most dangerous, using his illusions and shadow magic to great effect. He both was and wasn't in multiple places on the roof, though each "version" of the Avatar of Fear were just as deadly, their khopeshes slashing and beheading creatures left and right, Fear energy cutting through the undead and mutated ranks with startling effectiveness.

Amira's eyes grew wide as she saw the dead crawling their way out of their own graves. Something she was not perpared for. Not only did they not cover how to kill the undead the undead themselves were people she once knew and cared for. But, now they were under the power and control of that evil bastered Drake. Her anger grew as she stared down at him. Their eyes locked as she transformed into her creature form and it was the quickest she had ever transformed before. With a loud roar she leaped from the building and when she landed the ground shook.
She began to rush toward Drake running over everything in her path. Her 7 foot pure white fur now turning red with blood from the creatures she was cutting down in her path. Reaching Drake she looked up at him and roared, "You want me you jackass! Well you got me!" She punched down a vampire that tired to rush up on her. He went flying against a car. "Come down here and fight me!"
.............................
The Count grabbed ahold of his son. The Zombies kept their distance from them.
"What are you doing?" Vandock snapped as he tired to pull away.
The Count kept ahold on him. "I don't want you to get hurt."
"Like you f*cking care!" Vandock cried. "You've only used me Count! When will you see that? She has the right to know too! If you haven't of cared why did you do it?"
The Count looked past him to see Amira in her creature form about ready to fight Drake. Why did he feel this way? Was it sadnes? Pitty? Guilt? Who knows but his son had a point. Was he going soft? Why hadn't he tasted Pepper? It wasn't like him at all.
Looking back at Vandock he said, "You're more important to me right now. I can't change what is happening. Its not my place V."
"You own this city. How can you stand there and tell me its not your damn place!"
"In this case its not. I have to look at the big picture. This time around isn't it. Please try and understand that."
"I'm sorry. I don't."
The battle was in full swing around them. Vandock finally pulled away from his father. "I have to help Amira. Its the least I can do after what I had done to her parents!"
"By my orders. You don't have to repay her for that. Its not your place."
"Yes it is daddyo. She has to know. If anything else she has to have that chance."
"Then she will kill us both."
"If that is the way fate decides then so be it," Vandock snapped. "Now if you dont mind I must help!" Vandock rushed off into battle to fight.
The Count just stood there for a moment. Unsure of what to do this really wasn't his fight. Not yet. So he slipped into the shadows and disappeared.
....................................................
Rachel took out her gun. Penning herself against Nick's back she said, "I am so happy to be fighting with you Nick. If we get out of this alive like you hope we do then I will follow you to the ends of the earth and back. As long as you will have me I will never leave you."
.....................
Hawk, Ardolf and Ariel began to fight against Grim, Bing, Wolff and Cross.
"Give up!" Wolff shouted to Ariel.
"Never you *sshole!" She shouted as they fought on.
.................................
Mera began to say a spell as a force field surronded her and her wolf. Zombies tried to break threw but it was like hitting an elertic fench. If they hit it then they would fry. She began to chant to try and counter act the spell that Drake was popping off. It was a very powerful spell so it would take some time to break it but she wasn't going to stop trying.

Terri turned towards her saviour and brushed a curly black tendril of hair behind her ear. It seemed Saren wasn’t so bad after all. She only had time to offer him a brief nod of thanks and couldn’t help but smile slightly before she turned away again to continue her fiery destruction. Suddenly her magic snapped out like a blown out candle. “What the-? What happened to my powers?!”
Terri quickly snatched up the nearest weapon, a baseball bat, and started clonking zombies on the head, leaving the more dangerous enemies to Saren…
---------------------------------------------------------
All over Amira’s lair, people who relied on magic were having their powers snuffed out one by one. The dark robed priests surrounding Drake raised their arms to the sky as they chanted with more enthusiasm.
Izin’s shadow magic was draining from his body, leaving him with whatever martial prowess he possessed to defend himself, as was Mera’s protective spells. All of this magical energy was stolen by the dark priests and then conferred to Drake for his own uses.
The force field around Drake was growing brighter by the second. Veins stood out on his forehead as he strained to control such raw energies as he smiled at Amira’s wolf form, so close yet unable to touch him. She was so beautiful in her blood soaked fur… how he wanted to own her. He started to float above his monstrous mount and lifted his arms to the sky. Bolts of lightning started zapping the roof of the cemetery, blasting apart defender and attacker alike, leaving nothing but a black scorched mark in the stone where they had stood.
Great winds started sweeping across the battlements, sweeping some of the defenders off the side and too their deaths in the pressing crush of bodies below…
---------------------------------------------------------- Asim watched the count as he held back another vampire who was trying to bury his knife in his eye. He could see how the priests were feeding him his power. “Amira go for the priests!” He shouted above the roar of battle. “Kill the priests!”
With a cry of effort, he twisted the blade and returned it into the vampire’s own flesh. He stood up as the attacker imploded to dust.
“You!” Asim hissed, spying Zero across the battlefield. He started to move as quickly as he could towards his arch rival, intending to end this once and for all…
-----------------------------------------------------------
“I have something for you, b1tch!” Lila muttered to herself, a wicked smile curling her beautiful features into something more predatory as she fired a harthingy straight at Amira’s side, hoping to catch the chosen one off guard as she concentrated on Drake. Drake was busy with his magic, if she could wound Amira enough to finish her off herself, this day would end perfectly. No other female was ever going to come between her and her beloved master…
---------------------------------------------------------------
Back to back, Nick grinned over his shoulder at Rachel. “Wait until you hear me snoring before you agree to that!” He shouted and reached down between them to give her hand a quick squeeze. And then they were firing again. Silver bullets peppered the countless enemies. Some turned to dust, others shrugged off the effects. Their ammunition wouldn’t last forever, but Nick was determined they would make every last damn bullet count…

Izin froze for a moment, his illusions having been shattered. He stood amongst Drake's army, close to where Lila was. Unfortunately, all of the undead and mutant creatures could now see the Avatar of Fear. "Damn." Izin growled, rolling under a huge flesh golem's swinging arm. He started sprinting, narrowly dodging and blocking several attacks aimed at him. He slashed out with his khopesh, cutting down several abominations as he ran, heading for the female vampire. He found himself flying into the air as a massive flying creature slammed him with its clawed leg. He crashed to the ground about fifteen meters from Lila, khopesh flying out of reach. He scrambled to his feet, pulling out twin magnum sun-guns; they used magnetic accelerators to fire shards of crystallized sunlight, and were positively lethal to vampires. He fired at the female vampire, attempting to distract her from shooting at Amira. Sparkling golden shards hummed through the air, seeking bloodsucker flesh to impale. *** Garnian and Gwaed stood back-to-back, fending off the horde while simultaneously trying to avoid the lighting and powerful winds. Their swords slashed, dipped, and chopped, severing limbs and removing heads from the unflinching creatures. They each ducked as a bolt flew overhead, then rolled in opposite directions as a second struck. They were each engulfed by mobs, swords whipping through the air in defiance. Garnian was the first to go down, a mutated human having struck him from behind. Its claws slashed through his back and coat. He grunted in pain, staggering forward. A flying skeleton dive-bombed the magus, knocking him off the roof. A lightning bolt struck the grappling enemies mid-air, making the skeleton explode in a shower of dust while Garnian was catapulted back, soaring over the roof. He vanished as he went over the opposite edge, falling without a sound. Gwaed roared in fury as he was buried by creatures, schiavona clattering to the roof. There was a momentary pause, then a massive wolf-man burst out from beneath the mob, claws and teeth flashing as they stole life and ended unlife. He was fiercer, stronger, and faster in hybrid form, and was absolutely terrifying to behold. He howled, the sound waves rippling through the air as they knocked over several creatures in the immediate vicinity. Almost laughing in glee, the werewolf dove into the horde, cutting a bloody swath through the aberrations with fang and claw. Voro grinned as more creatures attacked, his body swaying in the heavy winds. He took a swig from his mug, then cackled as he pounced on a zombie, foot caving in its rotten skull. He spun in the air, creating a wide circle as he knocked over several creatures. He fell to the roof with a thud, then started rolling. He pushed himself away as claws and swords slashed down at the drunken master. Hopping to his feet, Voro snapped a mutant's head with his legs before landing on his feet, his swaying more than just the wind's effect on him. He lashed out with his mug, smashing aside three zombies, then took a huge swig. As his head came back down, he puckered his lips, then seemed to spit out the alcohol. As the foamy liquid exited his mouth, it burst into flames, searing a wide cone through the horde. He did it again, this time in a long stream that he moved back and forth, cutting down countless monstrosities. Voro ran forward, skidding to his rump as he reached the edge of the roof, knocking over several zombies as he slid. He pushed off, coming back up to his feet. He flicked his mug, grinning wickedly as the contents became a violent pink color. He took a large swig, then flicked the mug again. The liquid turned dazzling green, which he quickly downed as well. He concentrated for a moment, limbs absently flailing around, knocking away enemies. He slapped his stomach, pitched forward, lips puckered again. This time a huge ultraviolet fireball rushed from Voro's mouth, speeding towards the priests. As it landed in the center of their formation, the fireball seemed to implode, wait a second...then detonate with a vengeance. The wave of fire burned a wide sphere through the enemy ranks, incinerating at least seven priests. As for Voro, he was hurled back. The drunken master slammed into Rachel and Nick, knocking all three to the ground. "Sorry about that..." Voro muttered, spitting out a glob of burning blood, though he was grinning stupidly. "Always loved doin' that..." *** Saren grunted as he was thrown back, a flesh golem having smashed into the building. It roared, arms flailing as it charged after him. More creatures poured into the larger opening, screeching and moaning in anticipation. A huge flesh golem, known by many as an aberrant promethean, stepped into the building, maw open as it bellowed in rage. Saren rolled to his feet, then started sprinting towards Terri, basically the only other living non-mutated organism on that floor. "Time to go!" He shouted at Terri, the horde closing on the sprinting man surprisingly fast. He didn't stop moving as one of his arms shot out to snag Terri, then brought the young woman into a tight hold. He continued running as if unencumbered, legs pumping as he sought to outdistance the horde. "If you've got any surprises, now would be a good time!" He grunted, skidding around a corner.

Amira turned toward Asim and then looked toward where he was pointing too. Asim was right that was the target right now. Not Drake. She turned and was heading off toward the priests when she heard someone scream no then she was pushed out of the way. Looking back she saw Vandock on the ground with a harthingy sticking out of his side. She rushed to his side.
"V!"
"Its ok," he manged, "Go stop them!"
Amira put a paw on his head and it slid under his chin. She smiled at him and then turned toward where the weapon had came from. Seeing Lila she began to growl as her eyes began to glow a firry red. "I'll deal with you in a moment," she said as she turned back toward the priests. She then took off light a bullet cutting down all in her path as she made her way toward them. Leaping into the air she was heading right for them...
.....................
Vandock was making it way toward Amira when he saw a woman rise a..harthingy? Was she for real? Where in the f*ck would she get a weapon like that for a fight like this? As he watched her he now realized it was aimed at Amira. "NO!" He shouted as he rushed at Amira. Making it just in time to push her out of the way he then felt a strong pain in his side. Looking up at Amira he smiled back at her as she smiled at him. As she turned he was going to try to say something but Amira was then gone.
Trying to pull it outo his side, Grimm and Bing appeared by his side.
"Well, well, well Bing. Look at what we have here."
Vandock looked up at them. "Stay back Vess! I'm warning you!"
Grim snapped his fingers as Bing swang his hung leg kicking the harthingy deeper into his side. Vandock rolled as she screamed out in pain.
"Let's have some fun Bing," Grim said as he hand Bing grab ahold of Vandocks arms to pin him down as Grim grabbed ahold of the harthingy and began to twist. Vandock screamed and screamed as he was unable to fight against them. Wishing if they were going to kill him then just do it already.
.................................
Ardolf saw the man that was in the alley way head for Zero and he was about to go help him when he heard Ariel scream. Turning he saw Wolff and Cross holding her. He turned and was heading for them when Wolff put a gun to her head. Ardolf stopped.
"Let her go you son of a..."
"Temper Ardolf. Come now. You knew I couldn't stop this!" Wolff said as he smiled.
"Then you have to deal with us!" Hawk snapped.
Both men began to transform into their werewolf form. Hawk was as black as night as Ardolf as brown as earth below. Both stood growling at the men before them.
"Let her go!" Hawk hissed readying himself to attack.
Wolff smiled. "I think you have bigger issues!" Wolff pointed behind the two forcing them to see a vampires making their way to the roof tops.
As they leaned on their front paws they kicked their back legs like a horse knocking the vampires charging at them off the roof. More were coming though. They looked toward where Ariel and the other two were but now they were gone.
"NO!" Ardolf shouted as he rushed over to the other side of the roof. Looking down he saw Wolff and Cross carring Ariel off as she was trying to fight them. Ardolf leaped off the roof but zombies began to charge at him. Hawk leaped off and landed on top of a few off them. "Thanks!" Ardolf said to Hawk.
"Not a problem. Time to get your girl back!"
They rushed off after them cutting and fighting everyone in their path.
..................
Mera's powers vanished. "What the f*ck!" She turend to see zombies headed toward her. She looked at her trusted wolf friend and said, "We need to get out of here!"
But the zombies were upon them. He fought to protect her but sadly their were to many of them for he got bit on the hid end.
"NO!" She screamed for him.
Suddenly a bright white flash appeared. Peanut stood in front of Mera making a blast released from him. The Zombies flew from the roof top.
"Peanut?" Mera asked seeming surprised.
He turned to her. "He told me not to interfear with Amira but he never said anyone else."
"Got to love those loop wholes!" she said then turned to her friend. "Can you help him?"
Peanut looked him over and sighed. "No. I'm sorry I can't."
Mera looked into his eyes. They spoke to her and she knew what she had to do. Pulling out her hand gun she pointed it at his head. "I'm sorry old friend." He closed his eyes as she fired. The first to fall. She began to cry. Looking toward Peanut she said, "Well, he?"
"He is fine. Back to the battle before us my dear." He said as he turned toward seeing Ariel in trouble and took Mera to go help. He couldn't leave her their with her dead friend. Even though he couldn't help Amira he could help the others but even that was to a point but he was never one for going by the rules anyway.
...................
Rachel fought hard as she then turned to see Asim heading for Zero. She turned toward Nick and said, "I tihnk we should help Asim! Zero can be a hand full!" She wanted to get her few punches in on the old man before Asim killed the s.o.b. She awaited for his answer as they kept on fighting.

Terri clung tight to Saren and let out a cry as he skidded around a corner. The lower chambers were lost to the horde. They were being chased and they couldn’t let the creatures get to the secured area where the civilians were hiding. She heard Saren ask if she had any surprises and she knew there was only one left. It had been too risky to use it before but it was now a case of do or die.
Pressing her hands over Saren’s ears she drew in a deep breath, her small bosom rising with the effort before she released a scream over the man‘s shoulders. Her voice rose in pitch to an unbelievable level as she let out a banshee wail that blew the heads off some of the zombies, but more importantly brought the ceiling crashing down on their immediate pursuers. It sealed off the corridor behind them, but for how long she could not guess.
Having spent all her energy on the scream, Terri’s head fell against Saren’s chest as she went limp in his arms. She hoped she had bought them enough time before she fell unconscious…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lila heard the rattle of gun fire to her left at the same time as she had fired the harp00n at Amira. It distracted her enough that her shot went slightly off mark and embedded itself in the shape of someone who rushed in to take the hit for the chosen one. Amazingly, she realised it was Vandock.
“I look forward to it b1tch!” Lila replied to Amira’s threat. She screamed as pain suddenly exploded in her shoulder where a bullet hit her. It burned her like acid and she snarled with rage as she turned her gaze on the shooter. The avatar of fear.
“You’ll regret that!” She snapped, having to leave Amira for now as she leapt after the man who had shot her. She dodged the rest of his bullets with her acrobatics before landing on him with her legs snapping around his waist like an obscene parody of a lover. “I’ve been waiting to see how I would fare against you! Die!” She hissed and slid out a dagger. She brought the weapon down above her head, intending to bury it in his chest…
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nick snapped his head about to see where Asim was heading straight for the white haired vampire. He didn’t know what their deal was but he could tell by the way Asim tore apart anything in his path that he wanted to kill that guy for sure.
“We can’t leave the roof undefended. If we do we’ll lose for sure. You go.” He told Rachel. “Help Asim kick that guys a$$ then both of you get your butts back here to give me a hand!”
Suddenly someone was hurled into them and the three of them fell to the ground. Nick scrambled back up and pulled the man that smelled strongly of alcohol to his feet. Nick couldn’t help but grin. When he had first clocked the drunken master he had wondered how he would have been able to help their cause… he had just proven it with the fire that was working it’s way among the crazy-a$$ druids.
“Rachel hurry! Go help Asim!” Nick stood side by side with his new companion as he slapped his last magazine into his weapon and started firing…
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Asim flipped over, taking off the head of the zombie that faced him with a savage kick. Back on his feet again he continued shouldering, pushing and punching his way towards Zero.
A sudden explosion from somewhere made everyone around him stumble as the concrete cracked beneath their feet. The street was hardly built for this amount of people and monsters on it. It would most likely capsize before long and plunge a lot of the combatants into the sewers beneath them.
“Zero!” Asim shouted, finally coming face to face with his arch rival. He curled his hands into fists and stood glaring at the white haired psychopath. “No more games, no more hiding… it ends here!”
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The priests started screaming and running about as some of them caught fire instantly. Red robes went up in flames and a handful of them were turned into waving bipedal torches that stumbled aimlessly about before they collapsed and died. The flames had damaged them and the force field around Drake was beginning to weaken. Drake noticed none of this, his body was glowing all kinds of different colours as magical essence made him as powerful as a god. It was power nobody was meant to have however and he was starting to show side effects with a grotesque appearance as his flesh warped.
A female priest pointed at Amira. “There!” She shrieked and some of her robed companions started shooting blasts of harmful magic in her direction, determined to slow the chosen one down as the other priests continued to chant the ritual to feed power into Drake.
